Hobbies and Interests:
I am passionate about music ( guitar, ukulele and singing especially),using music to enhance my teaching . I was a
founder member and lead soloist/vocalist in the Nantwich band the N’Ukes and founder of the current band Rebuked
(https://www.facebook.com/RebukedNantwich). I teach private ukulele lessons to beginners and intermediate students.
I enjoy travel and have travelled as far afield as Australia. I am also interested in photography, cinema and theatre. My
4. father was a trained chef and I share his enthusiasm for cooking. I am fully computer-literate and have designed
websites for three different local businesses. In May 2014 I was joint organiser of the N’Ukefest 2014 music festival in
Wrenbury, Cheshire, raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Care and The Wingate Centre, a local charity providing
residential and recreational facilities for children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities.
