Aha Moments & Takeaways
I realized that I’ve made the right choices in my life in terms of
coming to grad school and choosing to study digital media.
Interactive was just a constant reminder that I love what I do.
Interactive gave me a glimpse of the future, and it only goes up
from here. – Aisling
The future of media lies in sharing. Content is no longer the finish
line. You can have a well-written story or a well-designed
advertisement, but if people don’t drive it forward, the content
won’t make a difference. - Aisling
I would say that two of the small panels I attended, Telling Stories
with New Screens and Making Music Physical Again, stood out for
the enormously talented people speaking as well as their use of
digital innovation in their work. Martine Rothblatt’s keynote was
another highlight and beyond being mind-boggling subject-wise,
it really showed me that anything is possible and the future holds
more than we can imagine - Becky

Aha Moments & Takeaways
I was fascinated by Ben Lerer's session. His view on the loop
between commerce and media was a completely new concept
to me. Should media companies own their advertisers? – Kimberly
There was a huge focus on UX and UI across the board. That has
been a focus of the gaming industry for years, but it's really
starting to come of age in the rest of the digital sphere. - Kimberly
My personal takeaway was hope that the people I met,
connections I made, and skill I got to hone will bear fruit in the
future. – Carl
Accept digital and develop a strategy to reach millennials. - Tyler
