2006 was about “What is social media” and “Why does it matter”. 2007 is about “How do I deploy social media”. Companies started to test it. 2008 was all about testing, failing and testing again to become wiser. Social Media is appearing in every industry. Dell came out as the winner. In 2009 I believe that web marketing and social media is not about draining your budget or creating complicated strategies. It's about engaging your customers to improve sales. It's just that simple.
