1. The aim of my magazine was to be specific to only teenagers/young adults as I believe that there’s
not one magazine in the music industry that are wholly focused on teenagers/young adult. I think by
doing this it opens up the audience, as from my research I found young people don’t read magazines
and I believe there is a market for them.
There was only one main ethnicity throughout my media product which was ‘African Caribbean’ I
wanted to get an urban feel across to my audience and whilst completing my research I discovered
that most RnB or Hiphop magazines had African black artists as these are the artists that are in this
type of music industry.
Sub-culture includes cultures such as ‘emos’, ‘goths’, ‘hoodies,’I think most of my artists that were
involved in my magazine would catergorise themselves as hoodies this is because the clothing they
typically would be found to wear are hoodies and 'trackies' and lots of jewelery also as chavs from
their speech and types of words they use.
