Operates in friendly isolation—specific small programs do one or two things really well. But can copy paste or share between another app. The days of buying software suites are over. You’ll buy the exact functions you need, when you need them!

I am using ‘twitpic’ as a generic term for a photo in a tweet. (it is also a website)
In the twitter app or on the web interface, click the little camera. I usually do this before I type the tweet so that I can see how much remaining characters I have to work with. Can take one right then or upload a file.

You can also use it for instant messaging (like google chat), and calling someone else through skype. This is good for cheap international communication

Someone can get your facebook login info if you browse over an unsecured wifi connection. Prevent this by securing your connection.You may want to tweak some of the other settings here too if you are concerned at all about security.

Use lists. That is my biggest tip on facebook! It is the best way to have separate identities.
New privacy settings page. Go through each thing—you can setup to approve tags/mentions of you, delete old apps, block certain apps
