2. ANALYZE LEARNERS:
There are twenty students in my fourth grade
class. In this class there are seven African
Americans, and Three Chinese Americans. The
number of girls I have in class is eight and I have
twelve boys. These students are not very good
test takers, so I will need to incorporate a wide
variety of teaching methods to accommodate
their learning individual learning styles.
3. OBJECTIVE:
My students will demonstrate, describe, and
explain important Olympic History by the use of
Smart Board, Maps, YouTube, Posters,
Facebook, Digital Imaging, Twitter, WebQuest,
Wikispaces, PowerPoint, Blogs, QR’s & Voki’s,
Pinterest, Storytelling, Podcasts and Secondlife
with 90% Accuracy by the end of the week.

5. DAILY LESSON BREAKDOWN
Day One- Students will use Smart Board, Maps,
YouTube, Posters and Facebook in order to gain
knowledge and understanding on Olympic History
symbols, anthems, and traditions.
Day Two- The Olympic Torch, Flame, & Relay will be
engaged and explored by the students through the use of
Digital Imaging, Twitter and WebQuest.
Day Three- The students will explore the difference
between the Modern vs. Ancient Olympic games using
PowerPoint, Blogs, and QR.
6. DAILY LESSON BREAKDOWN
Day Four: Students will discover and explore
social issues that surround the Olympics and
certain games that have been affected by. The use
of Pinterest, Storytelling, and Podcasts will be
used.
Day Five: Will we discuss and explore the
difference between the Winter and Summer
Olympic Games using Pinterest, YouTube,
Facebook, Twitter, and Secondlife.
7. REQUIRE LEARNER PARTICIPATION
Required learner participation will be required
through the use of project based learning, group
learning, peer interaction, group and class discussion,
verbal assessments, and peer review. I will incorporate
technology into my classroom in order to help ensure
active student engagement.
8. EVALUATE AND REVISE
Evaluation of the students will be done by seeing
how well they interacted in group
activities/projects, how responsive they were in
class and teacher discussion, the completion of
the group activities and projects, and the
comments on the Facebook Page.
