2. Audience In terms of making my front cover successful, I think this has been achieved as my front cover relates to The Henley, and informs, educates, entertains and helps socialise students, parents and potential interests. It consists of college based articles such as exams, sports, revision, and also about to enjoy your time out and relax. The front cover gives an idea to the audience about what articles are included within the magazine, therefore hopefully intriguing the audience. The photograph shown is a photograph of a student revising with their laptop, and college work. This shows him hard at work, as the books represents this, representing Henley College in a positive aspectdue to a dedicated and motivated student. The text I decided to use throughout my magazine is ‘Franklin gothic medium.’ This is because it is an ‘average standard’ text in which all viewers can understand. The colours I chose to use are mutual, therefore no ‘sexism’ is involved, and appeals to all people. I used a light blue for my front cover as this is a ‘general’ colour, and emphasises texts within the page as the font is a darker colour, therefore easier to read and understand.
