2. Introduction
There are three different types of content
that you can contribute on LinkedIn.
1. Articles and posts that other LinkedIn
members share on LinkedIn and in
LinkedIn Groups.
2. Articles, videos, images, etc you find on
other public websites.
3. Original content that you create yourself
and make public.
Use all three types to help your network.
3. Tip # 1
Always add an editorial
to the content you
share.
Editorials explain the
purpose & value of
content before we read
it.
4. Tip # 2
Modify the article excerpt, if
possible & useful.
Often the excerpt will be all about
the source site or the business and
only a little bit about the actual
article.
If you modify the article's excerpt,
be sure to keep the excerpt
relevant to the article and your
network.
5. Tip # 3
Use Slideshare,
YouTube and other
content sharing sites to
place your original
content and then share
it on LinkedIn.
6. Tip # 4
When the content you
contribute begins to
create engagement, join
in.
Whether the article is
Liked, Commented on or
Shared, I recommend
you join in on the activity.
7. Tip # 5
Everything has to be TRUHE.
In my book Success using Social
Media I present the acronym
TRUHE, Transparent, Relevant,
Useful, Honest &
Engaging/Exciting/Entertaining/Ed
ucational.
When contributing content on
LinkedIn be sure that the content
is TRUHE.
8. Summary
When you share good content, in
the right way, your network benefits
and are appreciative.
This is how you nurture your
relationship with your LinkedIn
Network.
What other ways have you shared
content on LinkedIn and helped
your Network?
