3. Motivational Mirror
IKEA
The Ikea store in Wembley, London have introduced a
mirror that gives personalized compliments. The mirror
uses the same motion sensor technology as the Xbox
Kinect, allowing the mirror to read the user's facial and
body features and offer a personalized compliment.
Ikea came up with the idea for the Motivational Mirror after
observing that 49 percent of Britons don't receive
a single compliment in a week, a survey conducted by the
retailer showed. Through the survey they also found over
43 million people in the UK are self-critical about their
appearance and 33 percent feel they look their worst
before 9 a.m. on a Monday morning.
4. Woo Woo Social Campaign
Adobe Marketing Cloud
Adobe has launched an online video campaign to promote
the Adobe Marketing Cloud. The ad pokes a little fun at
marketers that fail to really understand where their
audiences are hanging out online. The ad depicts a couple
of marketing execs overhearing a conversation in a lift
about a fictitious social network, Woo Woo.
Everyone, it seems, is on Woo Woo, so they hotfoot it back
to the office and get all hands on deck to create a Woo
Woo profile page and start posting. The punchline comes
when we cut back to the two guys they originally
overheard talking in the lift. One asks the other: “Are you
still on Woo Woo?”
5. The Germinator Jacket
Gravity tank & Betabrand
Introducing the Germinator! The jacket that comes with
face mask, removable cuffs and vented pockets to protect
travellers from germs goes on sale for £122. If you're
someone who feels the need to roll around in hand
sanitiser after a trip on public transport - here's a slightly
less extreme alternative.
Betabrand's new germ-fighting transit jacket - The
Germinator - claims to protect commuters from germs as
they travel around busy stations, on buses, trains and
aeroplanes.
The jacket is made out of breathable, water-resistant
softshell fleece and has an extra-high collar made from a
silver-fused anti-microbial fabric, which can be zipped up
and used as a sort of face mask to protect travellers from
airborne germs.
6. Meet our talking Water Fountain
Drink Up
At Drink Up, there mission is to get more people to drink
more water more often. And to accomplish that goal, they
were willing to do just about anything– including building a
special kind of water fountain in New York to help spread
the word. So the Drink Up Fountain may look like a regular
fountain but definitely doesn't sound like one. See what
happens when these unsuspecting drinkers put their lips to
the water.
7. Bra cam
Nestlé Fitness
Nestlé FITNESS wanted to raise breast cancer awareness
with their Pink Ribbon initiative.
So they took an unusual but very on-topic approach and
gave one woman a bra fitted with a hidden camera, and a
mission: to remind women around the world to check their
breasts regularly to help prevent breast cancer.
