3. Mind Map Idea
• In this mind map that I have created, I have looked at creating my own ideas. I have decided to
branch off into 4 different potential ideas which would all consist of the same amount of
information being included within all of these ideas.
• My first Idea was an event which would be produced to appeal towards my audience & encourage
them to participate in this event. I would make sure that the size of the would be able to withstand
a decent amount of people to be included in the event. I thought about what age entries that might
apply and if the event was a short term or long term thing, either being a single one or doing more
similar events in the future.
• My second idea was a leaflet which would contain information further about my campaign. I
thought of what use of colours, whether they be dark or bright to help make the leaflet appeal or
create a bigger effect towards my audience. I thought about what images and the size of the leaflet
to have and any contact information which I should include in case my audience would like this kind
of information.
• My third idea was a video which I could create. I thought of what kind of effect the video would
need to have to appeal to my audience. This came across to me as doing different methods to
motivate my audience to participate in my campaign, persuading them to participate and giving
them stories and information about it. I would have to think about the colours I could use in the
video and what length it should be to keep my audience interested in the video.
• My final idea was a website. As I have created a website before I would be able to apply these skills
into creating a website about my campaign. I would have to think of consistent images I can use in
the website and what kind of layout design I would want to make it easier for my audience to be
able to navigate it. I would include different tabs which would contain different information such as
help, stories, images, information, event information and contact information. I would have to use
certain colours and a certain colour scheme to bind the text into the website and appeal along with
the images.
5. Mind Map Idea (Website)
• This mind map is for my website idea. I have
decided to branch off on different options
which would be included within the website.
This consists of what link tabs I use in the
website, the style, the information and colours
I use for my website. I have broken down each
option with multiple more options to gain a
stronger insight on how the website could
turn out if I made one.
7. Mind Map (Video)
• This mind map that i have created is about making a
video. This video would be used to promote my
campaign and would try to persuade my audience to
participate. I have noted down different methods and
ideas I could use when I produce this video. I have
looked at different styles which consist of multiple
different options of how I could produce the video. I
have also looked at different methods of production so
I could look how I want to make the video and in what
method and style. I have had some in depth thought of
if the video would work better with props and a small
storyline or if it would not be long enough or even suit
to have a storyline.
9. Mind Map (Leaflet)
• This mind map has my ideas of what I can do to create a leaflet for my own idea. I
have broken down different aspects which should be thought about when you
create a leaflet.
• I broke down different ideas for when I am making my leaflet. The ones I have
covered are the style & design techniques, actual designs and colour schemes.
• Firstly, the styles I have listed in my mind map are from different products and
allow me to have a range of choice to create a good leaflet. Choosing if I was to
create a leaflet which has more images than words or vice versa, being a short
leaflet or a long leaflet, working from front to back or vice versa allows me to pick
options which can be unique to make my own leaflet unique to my ideas.
• Secondly I looked at colours. This is a key factor when making the leaflet as I need
to puck colours which are vibrant or either contrast against each other. Having a
colour coded leaflet could also make it more unique as well as making the leaflet
easier for my audience to read.
• Finally, I looked at designs. I looked at specific ways to create the leaflet and how
to keep the design clean. Thinking of different aspects such as block long
paragraphs or using short bullet points will make a difference when my audience
are reading the leaflet. This will also determine how appealing my leaflet would be
towards my audience due to how much imagery and text combined with certain
colour schemes are implemented.
11. Mind Map (Event)
• This final mind map I have generated and created is about
hosting an event which will be used to create awareness
furthermore about my campaign.
• I have looked into the areas of styles, different designs of
how to run the event of what kind of size I would want my
event to be.
• I have looked thought about different methods of how to
portray my event over to my audience so that it appeals &
is different from other events. This means I had to look at
different aspects of what to include such as should it be
over the top or have a minimalistic design where not much
happens, what kind of ages should be able to come if it not
suitable to young audiences, and other things like where to
hold it.
