Good morning grade 3! It’s nice to see you again. Welcome to another day. Before we go on, Let’s recall our previous lesson.
Our previous topic is all about the story of the two kind-hearted princesses. We also tackled count nouns and mass nouns. Count noun refers to a noun that can be counted by piece. We used the word few and many in sentences. However, mass nouns are nouns that cannot be counted by piece. Little and much are words used with mass nouns in sentences. Let us check if you still remember.
Our topic for today is about number of nouns. The Singular and the Plural nouns.
Here are some examples in sentences. Would you mind reading them?

But this rule has exceptions. Not all ending in f would change to v and then add –es.
Some of the nouns ending in f added –s only.
Bute this has exception too.
Some of the nouns ending in o added –s only.
