2. Blogger & the Blogger App
www.blogger.com
I used this website to write my blog. It allows
you to be creative as you can adjust and change
the template, backgrounds, fonts and colours.
I also used the Blogger App on my iPad, allowing
me quick access to Blogger. I could also upload
photos straight from my camera roll to my blog.
4. Google & Gmail
I had a Gmail account so I could use Blogger and
YouTube.
I also used my Gmail account to send myself and
my group PowerPoint presentations and photos
of us at work.
5. Scriptly
We used Scriptly for our scripts as itโs a useful
app which let us input the things needed for a
script, such as the dialogue, shots and scenes
and helped us put it in the correct format.
6. PowerPoint & Prezi
I used PowerPoint and Prezi for the majority of
my assignments I did to display my information
and work.
These work very well as they allow you to clearly
lay out your work in a way which is easy for
everyone to read and access.
7. IMDb
www.imdb.com
IMDb (Internet Movie Database) is the website
where information about films is stored and
presented.
I used this website to look at posters of different
films, find out information about it and also to find
trailers. This website is very easy to use due to the
filter search.
9. YouTube
www.youtube.com
I used YouTube to upload videos so I could then
embed them onto my blog (drafts, vlogs etc).
YouTube was also used to watch other student
trailers as well as tutorials on how to do certain
things, such as special effects make up and
green screens.
10. Freeplay Music
www.bensound.com
We used this website for both inspiration for
music and for obtaining some of the sounds we
used in our trailer.
It was very important to make sure the sounds
we were using were royalty free or copyright
free.
11. BBFC
www.bbfc.co.uk
I used this website to research the ratings; what
each one meant and what the requirements
were. I was able to then classify my own trailer
as well as finding out the ratings for other films
in real life.
12. Final Cut Pro X
This is the editing software which we used to
edit all of our footage together for all of our
drafts.
It is industry standard software which is really
useful and easy to use once you know how.
16. Kizoa
www.kizoa.com
This is an online photo sorting gallaries which
are like slideshows to display your photographs
and can then be embedded onto other
platforms such as my blog.
I used this to display photos such as the photo
shoot for our ancillary tasks.
17. Photoshop
Photoshop is a editing
software for images,
allowing you to edit
photos and add text etc.
We used this technology
to create and edit our
ancillary poster and
magazine.
