After the production names etc, the trailer opens with a news report,
warning people of a drink called ‘Black Juice’ which has been having
negative side effects on teenagers across the country.
00:25-00:33
As the sound bridges from the news report scene, there is a montage of
shots showing KEIRAN drinking this drink in many different locations,
including at the sports court, at home and in school.

The next shot is a long shot of KEIRAN, zombie-walking down a path in
bright daylight. As he struggles to lift his leg up we hear the sound
effect of something like a ligament tearing.

Following this shot, is a shot of KEIRAN from behind, slightly leaning
his face into a sink.

Next is KEIRAN looking directly into the camera, symbolising him
staring at his reflection in the mirror. He is shocked when he sees
himself as a zombie as he previously had no idea.

Following a transition and title, the next is a shot of KEIRAN and
LILY sitting on the sofa after just having watched the news report.
LILY asks KEIRAN to stop drinking Black Juice, and he promises to
stop.
4. 00:46-00:50
However, the next shot is a close up shot on KEIRAN’S hands,
crossing his fingers, implying that he is not going to keep
his promise to LILY.
00:54-00:56
Following this is a mid shot of KEIRAN standing at his front
door, waving. As he says ‘hi’ to LILY, his hands falls off
and drops to the floor.

An overhead shot of the prosthetic hand falling onto the
floor. There is a sound effect of a thud when the hand hits
the ground.
01:00-00:14
Next is a two shot of KEIRAN and his friend eating lunch on a
wall outside. The wall has bushes behind it and it is bright
daylight. The friend asks where KEIRAN’S food is. He brings
out some prosthetic fingers and starts to eat them. His
friend is shocked and gets up to leave. KEIRAN offers the
fingers to his friend but she refuses and gets up to leave.
5. 01:14-01:16
A high angled shot, emphasising how short KEIRAN is
follows. He’s hiding flowers behind his back for
LILY, and says “I’ve got you something…” Again, it
is bright daylight and they are situated on a
pavement outside of the park.
01:16-01:19
A close up shot of the flowers is next. They are
old, brittle and dying. The petals have started to
brown and have gone crunchy. KEIRAN hands them over
to LILY.
01:19-01:24
The next shot is LILY looking back at KEIRAN after
she takes the flowers from him. She says “you
shouldn’t have!” but her facial expression implies
that she is not impressed. She frowns and gives a
look of disgust before continuing with, “No really.
You shouldn’t have.” Which confirms her
disappointment.
6. 01:26-1:29
After a title, the next shot is an over the shoulder
shot of KEIRAN and LILY in the front doorway of his
house. This continues on from the shot where KEIRAN
waves at LILY and his hand falls off. In this shot
LILY screams at the sight of KEIRAN as a zombie and
runs away.
01:29-01:31
Following in this montage, the next is another mid-
high angled shot of KEIRAN sitting crossed-legged on
his bed. He is surrounded by bottles of Black Juice,
some empty, some half filled up. There is a
voiceover of LILY’S voice, reminding KEIRAN of what
she said about no longer drinking the drink. He is
very fidgety, and is rocking back and forth.
01:31-01:35
After this shot is a mid shot of LILY with her back
against a brick wall. She impulsively opens a bottle
of Black Juice and drinks it, proving a huge plot
twist in the trailer. Lily is wearing her black
clothes, and it is daylight outside.
7. 01:35-01:38
Next is a pan from low to high. We see a pair
of boots standing on the ground, and it slowly
pans up the legs of the person, and onto their
body and chest. Due to the black clothing and
the feminine physique, it becomes clear that
this is LILY standing there. The shot ends
before it reaches her face so we do not see the
effect the Black Juice has had on her.
01:46-01:50
After a final set of titles, there is an extra
shot at the end. It is a close up on KEIRAN’S
face, where he is looking directly into the
camera as if it were a mirror. He smiles at his
reflection and looks proud, tugs on his hoodie
and says, “woah, I’m looking good today!”
