Background
Why? The DCSF ICT Strategy, Harnessing Technology, sets out two targets for 2008 and 2010. A personalised learning space, with an e-portfolio, to all learners. An integrated management system (MIS) and learning system. Schools are also required to have a portal that parents can log into to see their children’s attendance and progress. The benefit to having one MLE system across all schools in Hillingdon and most of London is the seamless transfer of pupils between schools and other Local Authorities.
