2. About GreenShield
GreenShield is a fabricated TPO Membrane system, with
proprietary formulation, to provide a greener and cleaner
alternative to a wide variety of waterproofing methods.
TPO stands for Thermoplastic Polyolefin, a composite polymer
material that has excellent resistance to UV and Weatherability,
Chemical Resistance, High Durability, Tear and Puncture
resistance, and most importantly it is environmentally friendly
as it is 100% recyclable.
GreenShield is a TPO membrane in varying thickness, that adheres to horizontal
and vertical surfaces and acts as a barrier to water percolation, air and heat transfer.
Besides superior water-proofing, it also insulates from heat, contributing to energy
conservation.
It can be mechanically fastened or fully adhered using adhesives, to any substrate
including cement / concrete, metal or insulation surface providing all-weather proofing.
For roofing, the membrane can be installed on any type of slope or roof substrate - Flat
Roofs, Sloping Roofs, Metal Deck Roofs, Cement ACC Sheets and many more.
GreenShield allows gaining green credits with LEEDS / IGBC certification towards
design, construction, operation and maintenance of the building, as the membrane
itself is 100% recyclable, has a much lower carbon footprint through the supply
chain, compared to other materials, and is free from hazardous chemicals.
GreenShield offers a much lower system cost compared to other waterproofing
methods and also much shorter timeline - around 10,000 sq. ft. of roof can be
completed within 2 days. Superior Durability and Strength allows for a longer lasting
structure, reducing the overall cost over the life of the building.

versatile and can adhere to any substrate in any shape or angle, allowing for highest degree of Creative
Freedom.
EXTENDS LIFE OF THE BUILDING
GreenShield is Chlorine and Halogen Free. It has excellent resistance to chemicals, is moisture resistant; thus
protecting the concrete and iron used in the surface underneath from weathering forces, increasing the
longevity of the structure.
MAINTENANCE FREE ROOF
Once applied to the roof, GreenShield TPO Membrane will work day and night protecting the roof from
water, heat, chemicals, corrosion, abrasion; has durability and strength against High Wind Loads,
Dimensional Stability coupled with very strong Seam Weld Strength and Puncture Resistance ensures
long lasting roof, that is practically maintenance free.
WATERPROOFING
GreenShield TPO is a non-porous membrane, that acts as a barrier between 2 surfaces, keeping Air,
Moisture, Water and Heat out, completely sealing the level beneath. This ensures 100% leak proofing even
from capillary water leakages.
HEAT SHIELDING; COOL ROOF
GreenShield is designed for High Solar Reflectance and Thermal Emittance, this combination keeps the
surface cool, by reflecting off daytime heat from sunrays, protecting the surface below. This further acts as
insulation and helps reduce heat-island effect, improving energy efficiency.

Installation Methods
Specific Initiatives
GreenShield Green Roof initiative is a drive to create green spaces
in our concrete jungles.
GreenShield encompasses specific properties of root puncture
resistance, anti-fungal, microbial resistance that helps in creating
roof gardens, besides providing water-proofing.
We have developed a whole system that allows laying lawns;
creating kitchen gardens or small green spaces on your rooftop /
large balconies with in-built draining system.
Green Roof
GreenShield also promotes conversion of rooftops into Solar Energy
Generators, without the hassle of a load bearing structure. We use
lightweight and flexible thin solar panels, directly installed on the
membrane. This eliminates the need for solar racking, concrete
ballast, roof penetration or other mechanical fixtures.
