SIMPROLIT SYSTEM ®
- INNOVATIVE, COST EFFECTIVE, ENERGY EFFICIENT, DURABLE,
HEALTHY AND ECOLOGICAL CONSTRUCTION -
Simprolit system® is an innovative, unique and comprehensive system of environmental, energy efficient and
economically very cost effective construction of facilities. It is protected with 58 patents and two trademarks: simprolit®
and simprolit system®
.
Taking into account the diversity and comprehensiveness of patented and certified elements of simprolit system®
:
o over 25 types of facade and partition blocks,
o half prefabricated and prefabricated light floor and roof plate,
o thermo-insulating plate at reconstruction of existing and construction of new facilities,
o mounting environmental and energy-efficient facade panels,
o thermo-insulating layers for leveling floor or for fall (decline) of floor plates,
o light energy efficient prefabricated elements for sports halls,
o unique solutions for farms and production facilities with special requirements of biological and chemical
resistance,
o the unlimited possibilities for long-lasting relief and ornaments on the facade
o patented solutions for the construction of facilities and infrastructure on low bearing, wetlands or eternally
frozen ground
o prefabricated ecological houses in „Do It Yourself“ types and more,
it is obvious that Simprolit system® has no analogues in the world market.
From the aspect of economy total cost, speed and longevity of construction compared to conventional production
technologies of building elements and standard technologies of construction works, Simprolit System® stands out:
o by minimal energy costs in the production stage of raw materials,
o by minimum price and significantly lower capacity of horizontal transportation of elements to the construction
site, as well as horizontal and vertical transportation at construction site,
o by preferably of production immediately on-site or near the site,
o by the absence of the need for heavy machinery, scaffolding and formwork,
o by unifying the phase of building and thermal insulation of the object, thus shortening clocks, and thus the
construction deadlines,
o by longevity of not only building material but also constructive whole,
o by much facilitated weight of construction with consequent increasing of seismic resistance,
o by the ecological characteristics of the built environment,
o by receipt of the additional "net" sales area of 10% -20% compared to a standard building, which meets the
prescribed standards and requirements of energy efficiency,
o and, finally, preferably almost 100% of recycling and re-application in thermal insulation of roadbed airports,
roads and railways.
As the result of the above, Simprolit system® is undoubtedly one of the future leaders of the world`s increasingly
popular „green“, and thereby more healthy and long-lasting construction – which is not so common...
SIMPROLIT® POLYSTYRENE CONCRETE - BASIC MATERIAL OF ELEMENTS OF SIMPROLIT SYSTEM®
Simprolit® – patented modified polystyrene concrete is a type of lightweight concrete based on aggregates of expanded
polystyrene granules – Styrofoam. In addition, unlike the conventional construction Styrofoam, is applied only raw
material released of styrene and pentane – which is applied for the preparation of food packaging, the furniture charging
and etc.
Simprolit® is formulated as semi-dry mixture of polystyrene granules, portland cement, water and special additives.
What Simprolit® stands out within the group of polystyrene concrete to which it belongs is its small bulk density, low
water absorption from the surrounding environment - both through absorption, and through the capillary, high frost
resistance, stability of physical and mechanical characteristics regardless of the percentage of moisture content in it and
optimal correlation between strength and thermal conductivity.
Simprolit® polystyrene concrete is non-combustible material, according to EU standards class A2, s1, d0, according to
Russian GOST standards mark the NC (non-combustible).
Thanks to its excellent thermo-physical and physical-mechanical characteristics, Simprolit polystyrene concrete
application is everywhere where there are thermal insulation characteristics, light of construction, moisture resistance,
frost resistance, fireproofing, surface strength and durability are the decisive factors in choice of materials. Compared to
analogues in lightweight concrete class, as well as in relation to the construction of standard insulators in boards (mineral
wool, polystyrene, styrofoam etc.) Simprolit clearly stands out with its optimal characteristics, such as:
• very comfortable living conditions in objects made of Simprolit;
• good steam permeability;
• environmental cleanliness and excellent sanitary-epidemiological parameters;
• Simprolit structures are "dry" (no more than 4% humidity);
• In case of flooding, Simprolit elements dry quickly without losing strength
SIMPROLIT® BLOCKS
By its overall relation:
Quality – low thermal conductivity of wall – durability – good sound insulation – good hydrophobicity – lightweight
construction – eco-friendliness – economy, Simprolit blocks are unmatched among analogues on the market.
Namely, Simprolit blocks and Simprolit building system in general in relation to analogue materials and systems for
building distinguish the many features and benefits, such as:
o easy horizontal and vertical transport;
o easy workability;
o simple masonry (not need a highly qualified workforce)
o absence of thermal bridges on the vertical and horizontal joints (blocks are laid without plaster or glue);
o do not require a thick layer of plaster
o do not absorb moisture (moisture proof);
o contains no lime or any other aggressive substance;
o have a constant humidity percentage: 4% - 8%, which is very important in construction in areas of increased
humidity;
o extremely favorable ratio of thermal coefficients of materials in a laboratory "dry" state and the real value of
the same coefficient for elements already built into the wall, for various climate zones humidity;
o ductility and deformation of the blocks;
o simply the best summer stability in comparison with the same thickness - insulation and outward and inward,
which is very important for construction in areas with extreme summer and winter temperatures;
o extremely good water vapor permeability (walls made of Simprolit blocks 'breathe');
o fulfillment of the fire prevention requirements;
o the possible application as a permanent thermo-insulating formwork,
o comfort;
o eco-friendliness;
o a wide assortment - more than 25 types of Simprolit blocks, as a general-purpose (bearing, self-supporting,
partition) and for special purpose (for ventilated facade, for stone immure, for coating with steam non-
permeable coatings, for stabilization of low bearing soil in the construction of roads, railways and bridges, etc.);
o durability;
o frost resistance;
o the stability at sharp daily temperature changes
o and many other advantages!
More demanding regulations of energy efficiency are highlighted in the foreground a superior thermal properties of
Simprolit blocks compared to other solutions of facade walls - Simprolit block only 25.0 thick cm meets the requirements
of the majority of EU countries, and Simprolit block only 30.0 cm thick not only meets, but also through 15% exceed the
requirements of the EU that after 2015, the thermal conductivity is less than 0.24 W / m2K.
Simprolit blocks occupy the minimum usable area of the building (only 13cm for the block thickness of 25cm or 18cm to
30cm thick block – because the remaining, thermal insulation, part of the block “stick out" 12cm outward and as such is
not included in the computation of the gross area of the building) which increases 10% -20% net sales area of an object
within the same dimensions.
With the construction of facilities with Simprolit blocks is also solved the problem of fire approval (the wall made of
Simprolit block 20.0 cm thick is resistant to fire over 180 minutes (REI 18O), which is why they are used for fire proof
walls.
Extremely walls lightness made of Simprolit blocks is particularly suitable at upgrading facilities (wall made of Simprolit
block 25.0 cm thick, plastered on both sides, weighs only 164 kg / m² of the wall, while, for example partition plastered
brick wall thickness of only 12cm weighs more than 260 kg / m² wall). Also, due to the much lower weight, and thus the
seismic mass, the building with the same parameters designed in Simprolit system at least is twice a safer from seismic
effects than the same object designed in the standard AB system.
In addition to cost-effectiveness for the investor because of the speed, simplicity and techno logicality of building, not
little important is economy of facility users- tenants, due to significantly lower maintenance costs. This is particularly
important when planning the construction of residential and special purpose facilities - hospitals, schools, institutions for
pensioners and people with special needs, hotel apartments, bungalows etc.
SIMPROLIT® FACADE PLATES AND SIMPROLIT® FACADE PANELS
Simprolit system® for facade thermal insulation of existing and new buildings, with overall features: thermal insulation
capability – steam permeability - durability - hydrophobicity – fire resistance – impact resistance – untethered forms
and shapes and other characteristics, is significantly different from other existing solutions and systems of facade
thermal insulation.
Simprolit plates and facade panels, compared with plates and facade panels of mineral wool, have almost the same
thermal insulation capability for the same density (weight), a standardized fire resistance and water vapor permeability,
but also:
o much greater strength
o lower hydrophobicity (do not absorb moisture from the air)
o more than three times greater durability,
o the possibility of forming forms and shapes on the facade
o significantly reduced the occurrence of condensation on contact with facade coatings and linings
and other advantages.
In addition to the thermal insulation of existing and building parts under construction, Simprolit plates are used as an
interface between the concrete and demountable wall paneling, as permanently installed thermal protection of concrete
elements, facade walls and floor plates above the garages and unheated space, where so protected concrete elements,
after removing the demountable formwork, can immediately plastered or even just smooth without additional
reinforcement or rabitz wire mesh.
Simprolit panels and Simprolit facade panels, as hardly any analogue in the world, offer enormous possibilities of
architectural forms and expressions. In Moscow is, in the final design stage, the building with facade panels "in waves".
SIMPROLIT® ROOF AND FLOOR PLATES
No other system in the world has that kind of range of solutions that simultaneously meet the structural, thermal and
physical, fire, seismic and other requirements of sustainable development and ecological construction of buildings - from
the load-bearing system, facade and interior walls, plate systems for ecological thermal insulation of buildings, thermo-
sound-insulating layers for roofs and floors, to the system of lightened floor and roof plates.
Simprolit® floor and roof plates in Simprolit system characterize:
o the lightweight of the construction,
o the exceptional ease of performance,
o the fire resistance and fire safety,
o the good thermal and sound insulation,
o the elimination of thermal bridges through panels, balconies, terraces and bay windows,
o the ability to produce both at the factory and on the construction site,
o the universal application with reinforced concrete and also with steel structural system,
o the increase of seismic resistance through the reduction of the overall load,
o the reduction of the required sections of load-bearing elements and the reduction of reinforcement
o the faster execution with the possibility of partial or complete assembly
o and, finally, the significantly reducing the total cost of construction.
Thanks to the exceptional lightness of the system, at the largest airport in Moscow - Domodedovo, except of built
Simprolit floor plates over corrugated metal, during the construction phase, without additional reinforcement, on the
construction is hung another, under the roof added, floor plate.
The comparative analysis of the conceptual design of the two towers in the first phase of the project "Belgrade water"
area of around 60,000 m2, show that by using of Simprolit floors crossed plates could the entire structure (including
problematic piles) facilitate for over 21,000.00 tons!
SIMPROLIT® MONOLITH
Simprolit monolith is Simprolit polystyrene concrete casted into the formwork, manufactured and installed directly on
the construction site, produced according to the Technical requirements, with a final layer of 4 - 6 mm cement glue or
mortar with fine sand.
The compressive strength of the insulating layer of Simprolit monolith, depending on its brand (gravity) is moving up to
1.2 MPa (120 tons/m2
) without deformation, while exceeding the specified load causes no fracture, but - only deflection -
deformation of a millimeter to several millimeters. In building construction, Simprolit monolith is mostly applied:
• for thermo-insulation of foundation plates and walls;
• instead of floor plates cement screeds, acting simultaneously as leveling, insulating and soundproofing layer
(while cement screed thickness of about 5.0 cm weighs about 110 kg / m², screed made of Simprolit monolith
weighs less than 13 kg / m2
;
• as composite elements of facade walls with metal bearing structure;
• as thermal and fire proof covering of metal columns and beams;
• for construction of new and thermo-insulation of old flat roofs;
• to protect roofs of corrugated sheet metal, with a unique thermal insulation and fireproofing function
In comparison to the materials that are standard used for thermal insulation of flat roofs, Simprolit monolith clearly
stands out:
• the best relation between strength and thermo-physical characteristics;
• the best relation between humidity resistance and thermo-physical characteristics
• the best relation between frost resistance and thermo-physical characteristics
• the best relation between durability and thermo-physical characteristics;
• the ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously: as a mechanical protection of the hydro-insulation as a
thermal layer and as an inclination layer (35cm thick layer of Simprolit monolith is lighter than 5cm thick cement
screed!);
• the unique ability to increase fire safety of roofs made of corrugated sheets
In the event that as such a bearing roof cover occurs profiled sheet, Simprolit monolith:
• increases the durability of the roof cover and the complete roof structure;
• increasing the fire resistance, not only of the roof cover, but also of the whole;
• protects the corrugated metal sheet from corrosion;
• the roof cover made of corrugated sheet as a whole provides more stiffness, especially in the case of dynamic
loading (strong wind, mounting and servicing of installations, etc.).

SIMPROLIT® FACADE PLATES AND SIMPROLIT® FACADE PANELS Simprolit system® for facade thermal insulation of existing and new buildings, with overall features: thermal insulation capability – steam permeability - durability - hydrophobicity – fire resistance – impact resistance – untethered forms and shapes and other characteristics, is significantly different from other existing solutions and systems of facade thermal insulation. Simprolit plates and facade panels, compared with plates and facade panels of mineral wool, have almost the same thermal insulation capability for the same density (weight), a standardized fire resistance and water vapor permeability, but also: o much greater strength o lower hydrophobicity (do not absorb moisture from the air) o more than three times greater durability, o the possibility of forming forms and shapes on the facade o significantly reduced the occurrence of condensation on contact with facade coatings and linings and other advantages. In addition to the thermal insulation of existing and building parts under construction, Simprolit plates are used as an interface between the concrete and demountable wall paneling, as permanently installed thermal protection of concrete elements, facade walls and floor plates above the garages and unheated space, where so protected concrete elements, after removing the demountable formwork, can immediately plastered or even just smooth without additional reinforcement or rabitz wire mesh.
  • 6. Simprolit panels and Simprolit facade panels, as hardly any analogue in the world, offer enormous possibilities of architectural forms and expressions. In Moscow is, in the final design stage, the building with facade panels "in waves". SIMPROLIT® ROOF AND FLOOR PLATES No other system in the world has that kind of range of solutions that simultaneously meet the structural, thermal and physical, fire, seismic and other requirements of sustainable development and ecological construction of buildings - from the load-bearing system, facade and interior walls, plate systems for ecological thermal insulation of buildings, thermo- sound-insulating layers for roofs and floors, to the system of lightened floor and roof plates. Simprolit® floor and roof plates in Simprolit system characterize: o the lightweight of the construction, o the exceptional ease of performance, o the fire resistance and fire safety, o the good thermal and sound insulation, o the elimination of thermal bridges through panels, balconies, terraces and bay windows, o the ability to produce both at the factory and on the construction site, o the universal application with reinforced concrete and also with steel structural system, o the increase of seismic resistance through the reduction of the overall load, o the reduction of the required sections of load-bearing elements and the reduction of reinforcement o the faster execution with the possibility of partial or complete assembly o and, finally, the significantly reducing the total cost of construction. Thanks to the exceptional lightness of the system, at the largest airport in Moscow - Domodedovo, except of built Simprolit floor plates over corrugated metal, during the construction phase, without additional reinforcement, on the construction is hung another, under the roof added, floor plate. The comparative analysis of the conceptual design of the two towers in the first phase of the project "Belgrade water" area of around 60,000 m2, show that by using of Simprolit floors crossed plates could the entire structure (including problematic piles) facilitate for over 21,000.00 tons!
  • 7. SIMPROLIT® MONOLITH Simprolit monolith is Simprolit polystyrene concrete casted into the formwork, manufactured and installed directly on the construction site, produced according to the Technical requirements, with a final layer of 4 - 6 mm cement glue or mortar with fine sand. The compressive strength of the insulating layer of Simprolit monolith, depending on its brand (gravity) is moving up to 1.2 MPa (120 tons/m2 ) without deformation, while exceeding the specified load causes no fracture, but - only deflection - deformation of a millimeter to several millimeters. In building construction, Simprolit monolith is mostly applied: • for thermo-insulation of foundation plates and walls; • instead of floor plates cement screeds, acting simultaneously as leveling, insulating and soundproofing layer (while cement screed thickness of about 5.0 cm weighs about 110 kg / m², screed made of Simprolit monolith weighs less than 13 kg / m2 ; • as composite elements of facade walls with metal bearing structure; • as thermal and fire proof covering of metal columns and beams; • for construction of new and thermo-insulation of old flat roofs; • to protect roofs of corrugated sheet metal, with a unique thermal insulation and fireproofing function In comparison to the materials that are standard used for thermal insulation of flat roofs, Simprolit monolith clearly stands out: • the best relation between strength and thermo-physical characteristics; • the best relation between humidity resistance and thermo-physical characteristics • the best relation between frost resistance and thermo-physical characteristics • the best relation between durability and thermo-physical characteristics; • the ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously: as a mechanical protection of the hydro-insulation as a thermal layer and as an inclination layer (35cm thick layer of Simprolit monolith is lighter than 5cm thick cement screed!); • the unique ability to increase fire safety of roofs made of corrugated sheets In the event that as such a bearing roof cover occurs profiled sheet, Simprolit monolith: • increases the durability of the roof cover and the complete roof structure; • increasing the fire resistance, not only of the roof cover, but also of the whole; • protects the corrugated metal sheet from corrosion; • the roof cover made of corrugated sheet as a whole provides more stiffness, especially in the case of dynamic loading (strong wind, mounting and servicing of installations, etc.).
