What have you learned about new technologies while constructing
this product?

2. Introduction
• I have learned about many new technologies during
this project, for instance I am presenting this
evaluation using slide share and prezi, also I have
presented the entirety of my coursework on blogger.
All of these technologies I didn’t know how to use
before this project began.

3. Blogger
• Blogger is a website specifically for blogging, using a
Gmail account you create a blog which you can
name and change the appearance. Individual posts
can include text, pictures and videos.

4. Photoshop
• Photoshop is an Adobe program which is designed for
editing photos and creating professional looking pages and
posters. The size and shape of the page can be altered.
When inserting an image there is a lot of functions on the
toolbar. These include cropping, brushing and other tools
that affect the colour and orientation of the picture. This is
made more structured by the fact that Photoshop uses
layers for different objects making construction of
magazine covers is quite simple.

5. InDesign
• InDesign is an adobe program that is similar to
Photoshop but is more specified for dealing with
text. It has most of the Photoshop functions as well
as using a grid function for easy alignment. There is
also different page orientations, which is useful for
magazine double page spreads, hence why it was
used in the construction of my music magazine.

6. Prezi
• Prezi is an online program which is a more flexible
version of PowerPoint. It is al on one canvas and the
different slides are different zooms on the page.

7. Slide share
• Slide share is a website where PowerPoint
presentations can be shared like tweets or blogs. It is
simple to use as long as you have an email. You
create the presentation offline and simply post it on
the website on your page.
