Editor's Notes
4 Lessons per unit, take home task- brought home
1-3 digit quotients, multiplication up to 1,000’s x 1 digit
Listening comprehension-to visualize a reading passage and be able to comprehend what is being said. 1 test a week.
Children start their day on READY TO LEARN and it is completely fine for them to remain here. However, students who go above and beyond may move to WAY TO GO. When students need a reminder they are asked to move to STOP AND THINK. Children have the opportunity to move back to READY TO LEARN if the teacher sees an improvement in behavior. However, if problems continue students may be asked to move to TEACHER’S CHOICE. At this time, it is up to the teacher’s discretion to decide how to best handle the situation.
During the week that a student is Driver of the Week, he/she may choose to bring in a special item from home to share along with poster, Monday morning .i..e.. family pets.
