• Protagonist- the leading character
in the story
• Antagonist- is the character that
goes against the protagonist.
• Supporting Characters – helps the
main characters in the story

• Dynamic- is the character
who exhibits noticeable
changes.
• Static- is the character who
exhibits no changes and
development.
9. CONFLICT- is the opposition
of persons or forces in a story
that give rise to the dramatic
action in a narrative.

10. PLOT- is the sequence of
events in the story.

• Exposition- is the part of
the plot that sets the scene
by introducing the situation
and settings.

existence of conflict is
exposed to the reader

greatest emotional intensity,
interest, as well as suspense.

happened to resolve what had
occurred in the climax
15. Denouement / Ending – the
outcome of what had happened in
the falling action. It is the event
that presents a peaceful
atmosphere or emotion.
