4. The Team
The Company has been established by Managing Director Geoff
Cooper, who has 44 years’ experience within the cleaning and soft
services support industry.
The management and support personnel at Cleaning Assurance
not only have significant experience within the cleaning industry but
they are all exceptionally professional and committed to service
excellence with a true appreciation of 'right first time'.
Furthermore, they each have a strong work ethic and place great
emphasis on personal service and continual communication. As a
result, our clients and our team of operatives are guaranteed direct
lines of contact, enhanced by regular site visits and inspections.

6. STAFF SECURITY
All staff will be provided with Uniform with the Cleaning Assurance’ logo. They will have sufficient
sets to ensure smart appearance at all times.

SITE DOCUMENTATION
Before work commences all employees must provide:
Passport / Birth Certificate
Proof of Address (Utilities Bill)
When required Home Office Documents
Photographic ID is taken and placed onto the employees personnel record together with the
aforementioned information
A Site User Manual will be provided and made accessible to staff and customer alike.

It is crucial that hours worked are recorded accurately for many

8. TELELOG
Cleaning Assurance operate “TELELOG” a remote, technologically
sophisticated system that controls and records staff attendance. This
is how it works-
Staff arrive on site
Staff call a free phone number from the client site - at Cleaning
Assurance’ expense
Staff enter their own Personal Identification Number
System can also use a variety of safety measures for employee
verification
System can give individuals or groups messages from Head Office
Computer logs the employee as present
System reports all absenteeism to Cleaning Assurance
Staff use system again to log out
Log In/Out Data monitored by Head Office on a minute by minute basis
Confirmed Data used to collate Payroll Information

10. HEALTH & SAFETY
Cleaning Assurance has rigorous Health and Safety procedures in
place, to ensure the safety and well being of our team members, our
clients' employees and the general public.
All contract sites are subject to thorough Risk Assessment to ensure
that work is carried out in a safe manner.
We also ensure that all chemicals placed on site are used and stored
in accordance with COSHH regulations. COSHH assessments on all
products used on site are completed and regularly reviewed.
Every member of the cleaning team is given a Health and Safety
induction as part of their training. This includes Risk Assessment, site
hazards, PPE, accident reporting, safe working practices and
emergency procedures.
Where appropriate, management team members are given formal
training accredited to the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health

11. Cleaning Assurance recognise that our cleaning, and delivery operations impact on the
environment. As a responsible company we are committed to minimising any potentially
harmful effects.
The Company has made a cultural and financial commitment to comply with all applicable
legal obligations and with other requirements relevant to the environmental impacts of the
company's activities.
We have also set objectives and targets to ensure that performance can be monitored on a
regular basis and these include:
· To develop awareness on the part of clients, suppliers, employees and sub-contractors to
take all reasonable steps to ensure that any activity will have a minimal adverse effect on the
environment, either during the actual process or in the disposal of bi-products.
· To manage waste efficiently through segregation, recycling and the safe disposal of
materials and packaging.
· To reduce the use of fossil fuels by planning journeys and deliveries efficiently and by
considering CO² emissions when procuring vehicles and machinery.
· To choose suppliers, wherever possible, who are able to supply products that are recyclable
or have a minimal effect on the environment.
