Applying Standard four of
CF, through my studying
at College of Education
Done by:
Tasneem AL Tubi - 106430
Course code and name: CUTM4500 - Teaching practice
Practicum school: Aiysha Al Rasybia for Basic Education (5-9)
Supervisor: Ms. Nada Al Washahi
The fourth standard of the Faculty of Education framework is an
important and complementary standard for all five standards. This part
focuses on the value of scientific research and the development of
students' skills to become widely proficient in the application and
preparation of research in the appropriate manner.
It also focuses on the concept of lifelong learning. Because the learner
does not finish his education as soon as he finishes his studies. As
education continues, it never stops. The teacher should always search
and investigate for knowledge and science. The sources of science are
open to all. In addition, it is everywhere. In fact, it is wrong to think that
science stops at a certain age or time. Person, no matter how much he
has arrived, experience and a high level of education, he still has few
things. Everyone must strive for knowledge. Knowledge is a renewable
energy, as there are always new things in the fields of knowledge and
science.
In our university life, we passed several courses that included research.
Since the college has sought from the outset to establish us to get used
to the preparation of various researches. The College has also
established the principle of lifelong learning in all students. Since our
inception in the college, courses have been put forward related to the
scientific research, academic writing and academic research. Most of the
courses have also been applied to various research topics. It has always
been the policy of decisions that we study during the university depends
on research and information.
Of the most research that has been stuck in my mind, academic
graduate research. My research was talking about a new concept of
education, which is the inclusion environmental education (EE) in
different approaches. I chose this research for several reasons. First, it
was my first full academic research. Secondly, it was one of the richest
research I have ever done. I never expected to do such research. The
topic I have chosen has come through investigation. I was attracted by
the subject which being new for me and I did not know enough about it.
Curiosity and desire prompted me to look more on this subject. Fourthly,
this project is deeply linked to the fourth standard, which talks about
research and lifelong learning. As it reflects in depth all the details of this
standard.
In fact, that research enhanced the value of my knowledge. It has also
established the concept of lifelong learning in my mind. The literal and
precise application of all the research steps of reading previous research.
Develop questions and hypotheses, select samples, choose a method for
gathering information, discuss and analyze these data, and then come
up with conclusions and recommendations. Strengthen my skills as a
scholar and learner. In addition to an important point, as this research
has an impact on the development of cognitive skills to apply various
research with confidence. This research also benefited me a lot today in
the field-training period. As the subject first served me in applying
different and varied strategies during my explanation. Where I applied
the concept of environmental education within the classroom. In
addition, the research encouraged me to learn continuously. I was
encouraged to attend different classes for different teachers and my
fellow trainees. I have always felt that education does not stop at a
certain stage of experience, but that as a person grows a year of
experience, I need more experience and knowledge about the past
The actual application of such research gives us a deep opportunity as
students to acquire real experiences and increase their knowledge base.
Within each student is an inexhaustible well, and thirst must be told by
permanent inquiry. If I had the opportunity to change or enhance the
work, I would actually give my students an opportunity to make an oral
presentation to the public after their research, because the work went
through many stages of effort. In addition, to make my students feel
more valuable in research and continuous learning. When they
introduce their findings, this will make them more proud of what they
have accomplished.

Within each student is an inexhaustible well, and thirst must be told by permanent inquiry. If I had the opportunity to change or enhance the work, I would actually give my students an opportunity to make an oral presentation to the public after their research, because the work went through many stages of effort. In addition, to make my students feel more valuable in research and continuous learning. When they introduce their findings, this will make them more proud of what they have accomplished.
