Disposition: Attitudes towards
the profession
A teacher who works in the school where you have been assigned to do your student teaching
always says: “We are tired, we can’t teach, teaching is a daunting job, we don’t have the time to
watch every student”. S/he even tells you that joining the College of Education is the biggest
mistake of your life. You feel like you want to give an immediate response to this teacher. You stand
up and face /him to give a reply. What would you say? (number of words: 500-700)
It is not the first time in my life that I hear such phrases: "boring teaching career", "seeing the same
faces daily" and "nothing is new about education!" In addition, to many other phrases. Maybe it was
normal when others said to me: you got a high rate in high school, and then you lose all your efforts
when I joined the College of Education! "Or even when they say to me:" You deserve a better place
than the College of Education, a place that embraces your talents. "I knew in my heart that they did
not know the status of college of education. I smiled and said to them: If person who has the skills,
does not have to go to the College of Education, so who will teach your children, do you want a
better future for students? .. Let us build the minds of students.
I always seek excuses for those who do not know the amount and status of the college, because they
did not try to feel great, inspiring and influential. I always said: "OK, I am a teacher and I know the
size of myself and my place, as a productive person and a contributing factor in building society.
However, the shock was when I heard my colleague says: She hated being a teacher. Nevertheless,
she finds that her work as a teacher is boring and tidy. I stood amazed when she said: The biggest
mistake I have made in my life that I become a teacher. . She realized that she had a black look. And
I decided to talk to her.. It was not easy, that the teacher thinks about himself so. Alternatively, to
have a negative feeling of her great status. In addition, I want to show the bright side of what she is.
Moreover, that she should know the great grace which Allah gave him
I decided to talk to her, smiled at her and said: You know I feel different and distinct! . I always feel
in my heart that I am obliged to thank Allah that he chose me a nice state .. to be a teacher! .. We as
teachers are not ordinary people.. Everyone chose to be a teacher, chose to carry himself a great
secret .. Every influential person and their impact in society is a milestone. That responsibility for
education is a renewed responsibility, not a boring and grim one. The education environment is a
productive and rich. Every day we renew, because we do not deal with machines. We are dealing
with human beings, with minds, spirits and feelings. The manufacture of another human being is not
easy. As students spend half their day with us, we as teachers have an active role in educating them
and instilling values in them. In addition, the work environment is fertile and positive, as we meet
our fellow teachers, share experiences, draw ideas, and overcome difficulties together. I will also tell
her not to forget that the country is waiting for many of these students. Therefore, we as teachers
must provide them with the best education, and prepare them to become good citizens. Every doctor,
engineer, nurse and worker in various fields, founded by a teacher. He cultivates the science within
him, and urged him to research and knowledge, until he became a producer in his community
I will tell my classmate that everything in life will become boring and grim when we look at it with
that view. To change that thinking is ours dictions. We can change that feeling. However, we must
first see the subject with a positive eye. It is also necessary to give teaching with love and passion.
We must change their daily routines. They must diversify in teaching methods. Moreover, we have
to provide students with different and diverse information. We must read more in our field. The
more we read the more we got. I felt pleasure and desire to put what I read and benefited from.
When we urge our students to research and investigate, they will learn beautiful values from us. It
also has to diversify in ways of feedback and promotion. This will create an enjoyable learning
environment for the teacher and the student.
I will not forget to say to her: Be thankful to Allah and grateful for all the beautiful opportunities in
life. In addition, be thankful when Allah made you in a great position. It is the status of the teacher.
The teacher is the transformer, the influencer and the inspiration for the students and the whole
society.

Disposition: Diversity
You overhear your colleagues speaking about one of your pupils. They say that there is not much
sense in teaching him as he cannot understand and that he will drop out early anyways. Your own
experience with the child is that he is willing to learn and intelligent, but sometimes mixes up letters
and has problems concentrating in the classroom. He tends to withdraw from social activities.
Do you agree with your colleagues? If not, what can you do to assist this child in his learning
process? And how can you address the issue with your colleagues? (number of words: 500-700)
One of the most important principles that every teacher must take into account is that students are
different in all aspects, their social, economic, social backgrounds and cognitive abilities. It is
very natural for the teacher to notice that there are uneven levels in the performance of academic
and cognitive students. Even the speed of reception and understanding of the information varies
from student to student. However, this does not mean that students with less knowledge or
academic ability are not capable of learning and performance. All students are able to learn, to
understand. Nevertheless, the teacher must understand the nature of their students, and read their
different levels so that he can deal with all students fairly.
It is miserable to hear my fellow teachers, talking about one of my students who have learning
difficulties. As this student withdraws from group activities. He also suffers from the weakness in
reading; he binds the letters together while reading. It is very clear that this student does not have
a wide cognitive capacity, which makes teachers believe that it is beneficial to teach him.
However, that teaching it is a waste of time. They predict that he will withdraw from school.
However, in fact I disagree with them, because this student despite his problem but he is trying
and willing to learn, and he has intelligence. It is very bad to abandon and treat him differently
from others.
The teacher is supposed to be patient in dealing with students. Each teacher must take into
account and expectations that students are not all of the same level. The teacher is also fully
responsible for each student with different abilities within the classroom. Therefore, as a teacher,
I must first change the thinking of my fellow teachers about this student. In addition, work
together to encourage it. This student suffers a lot because of this problem. We must first as
teachers encourage him to learn, and make an effort to learn.
It is important to develop a plan to strengthen the teaching of this student. We must give him
additional activities commensurate with his understanding. It is also possible to add additional
lesson to focus on him. We must also understand the level of his understanding, and therefore
design activities suited to his ability. For example, we can simplify the information for him and
display his graphical videos until he understands the lesson. In addition, he can be taught by
images, sounds. It is possible to understand the idea better. The process of evaluating this student
must be somewhat special. Since the evaluation of its performance is compared to himself. Where
we will see how the student began to understand, and see where he is now. Students with learning
disabilities need special assessment methods and need more effort and care. It is also very
important that the student return to participate in the group activities, because it will return to
dealing with others. Therefore, we will encourage students to encourage this fellow to work with
them. I will encourage him as a teacher, to share his colleagues and to have an effective role, so
that he gets used to the various group activities.
It is the principle of humanity, and the ethics of the teacher. To respect the concept of diversity
within the classroom. They must be patient and have a long time dealing with different students.
Every student, no matter how little cognitive ability, has intelligence. Everyone has a different
ability than others. Humans are different, but differences lead to integration.

Disposition: Lifelong
learning
Some of the teachers in the school you have been assigned to graduated more than ten years
ago. While observing their classes, you realize that they are not aware of latest developments
in your field of teaching. Even the methods of instruction and assessments seem outdated to
you. You think about how to address this topic with your older colleagues. How do you
imagine yourself in your profession after ten or more years? What could make your
professional future similardifferent from your colleagues’? How would this affect your
teaching practices? (number of words: 500-700)
Some believe that by the end of the years of schooling and the beginning of the job, the
educational process is over. Many also believe that the period of study is over and the period
of teaching begins. However, I disagree very much with them. I see education as a lifelong
process. There is so-called lifelong learning. In addition, every teacher must put his
imagination that no matter how the stages of experience and work, the process of education
must be continuous and continuous. It is really unfortunate to see teachers have more than ten
years' experience. Nevertheless, they stick to traditional teaching methods. Even these
teachers use classical and old methods of assessment and methods. Using these methods is not
wrong. However, the teacher must keep pace with evolution. The outstanding teacher is the
one who keeps pace with the new millennium. He must also use modern methods; apply
technology and modern techniques in his educational career. Because life is renewed, so the
thinking of students has become different. The teacher must be modern so that he can reach
the level of his students, and be role models for students. Moreover, the methods that were
appropriate for previous generations may not fit the students of this generation.
It is very important as trainee teachers to bring some lessons for experienced teachers to learn
from their broad knowledge. Nevertheless, if I notice that one of the teachers is very adhering
to the traditional ways and does not hold anything modern. On the other hand, that this teacher
does not know about the new in the field of education. I will thank him first for his great
efforts and for the benefit that I gained from him. Then I would suggest it in a polite way if it
is diversified in teaching methods. Alternatively, it is possible to ask Senior Teacher to
provide teachers with training workshops on modern methods of education. In addition, raise
awareness about the importance of keeping up with the age and knowledge of modern paths in
the field of education. Because all this contributes to the upgrading of students.
In fact, I imagined myself ten years later. I had a terrible feeling that I would be like them, to
do the lessons in a traditional and hierarchical way. However, I made a firm decision that I
learned from their experience. I will be very keen on the kinds of ways I teach. What's more, I
have to keep up with all the innovations. Lifelong learning is essential for every teacher,
because it helps us at all stages. Lifelong learning is the subjective desire to learn from all
sources, at all times and in all places, and not only at a particular stage. Lifelong learning and
constant knowledge is useful even in the training phase, because it is a foundation stage for
me as a future teacher. I have to be familiar with myself and renew myself, so that this is a
permanent value for me as a future teacher.
There is also an important point, since lifelong learning has to be applied in all aspects. For
example, I have to take a new look at my field. In addition, to what is new in the application
of teaching methods, classroom management and many more.

A large number of students in your class perform poorly in tests and continuous assessment.
What can you do to understand the reasons? What could be the reasons? What action plan
would you take to address this? Would these test results have any impact in your teaching?
Explain how. (number of words: 500-700)
As an English language teacher, be interested in the development of students. Language is
based on four basic skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The teacher must apply
these skills in different ways. The teacher cannot only teach students. Since they must
constantly evaluate students. In addition, they provides them with the appropriate assessment
tools to know the level and progress of students. Evaluation also helps the teacher to learn the
strengths and weaknesses of students. The evaluation also highlights the need for students and
measures the effectiveness of different strategies for students. Evaluation is the camera that
shows the effectiveness of what is applied to students. It also gives a glimpse and picture of
the teacher's level of performance and student performance.
If one day, I was given my students an exam in a skill, and I saw that the performance of
students was not as expected. As most students had poor performance. Their continuous
assessment also showed unsatisfactory results. It is necessary to do a number of things to see
why the level of students has dropped. First I will discuss the students verbally, where I will
devote time to talk to them at the beginning of the lesson. Alternatively, I can give them a
paper to evaluate the exam and write all what they want without mentioning their names in
case they passed a certain pressure. It is also possible to distribute a questionnaire paper to
find out their different opinions about the skills they study and the nature of the exam.
There are several possible reasons that I have to think about and expect as a teacher, as a
reason for the poor students' performance on the exam. If the exam is above their level or
appropriate. I have to ask students about the reasons for their poor performance. Students may
be going through some pressure. For example: the exam time may be synchronized with the
English language subject to the examination of other materials on the same day. I also identify
the possible reasons that the students did not understand enough skills. As well as one reason,
students may not be familiar with the exam pattern. The reason may be time-related, for
example, if writing skills may not be enough time for students to perform.
As a teacher, I have to diversify my assessment tools, because evaluation greatly helps to
understand students' performance. Examinations are one form of student assessment.
Therefore, to find out the level of students and the reasons, different methods should be used
to evaluate students as much as possible. It is possible at the end of each lesson to assess
students' understanding through activities, or write lessons learned. It is also possible to give
them individual and collective activities to assess their understanding. It is also possible to
give students different exercises that prepare them for various examinations. It is also
important to measure their level of performance from time to time. As a teacher, I have to
anticipate and assess the time needed to resolve any activity. Students are also trained on these
assessments, which measure their performance and their policy in the treatment of this
problem. The experience of different ways to assess students' understanding and performance
must be tested in several ways, and then determine the most appropriate way to suit students.
The results of the students were greatly influenced by the application of various activities and
examinations. It also has an impact on determining the best way to measure and evaluate
student performance. Not only that. However, it affects the teaching of the teacher; it gives
him a clear picture in the choice of methods and modify, or even change. Assessment is the
best way for a teacher to know the level of the educational situation he is managing.

Collaboration
Now that you are at school, you realize that collaboration with other teachers in particular and
the whole school community in general is essential. Explain how you have reached this
realization. What steps are you taking to strengthen collaboration with others? What do you
use collaboration for? (number of words: 500-700)
Any worker in different sectors and jobs needs to adhere to the values of the profession. One
of the most fundamental values to be applied by every human being is the value of
cooperation. It is known that one hand cannot clap alone. The teacher who lives in the school
environment must be used to dealing with others. Every teacher must cooperate with everyone
to achieve the goals and messages of education. As the teacher role model for students in that,
if the student noted that the teacher collaborates with others will learn from it and will apply
automatically.
In fact, years ago, I thought that cooperation in school would be limited to cooperating with
my fellow teachers in the same discipline. However, when I started training at school, I
realized that the concept of cooperation was wider and bigger than the one I had ever drawn.
Cooperation in the school is not only the cooperation of teachers of the same specialization.
Cooperation is a deep and precise concept. Success in education requires cooperation with the
administration, with school technicians, with all colleagues in various disciplines, even with
hygiene workers and students.
Therefore, I have taken a series of steps that enhance cooperation with everyone. The first is
the initiative to help everyone. For example: I took reserve shares in the absence of one of the
parameters. It is important that the system and calm at the time of reserve quotas, there must
be a teacher to replace the absent teacher. Also from aspects of cooperation with specialty
teachers, sit together and discuss ways of teaching English. We design classroom activities
and exams for students. We can also cooperate in applying tutoring lessons to students. In
addition, we can cooperate with other field parameters, in the students' level discussion.
Moreover, to cooperate with the Department by committing itself to applying all its money to
the students and the school. It is important to cooperate with the school administration in
inspecting students who violate school uniforms. We also help ensure that the classroom is
free during the school assembly. Make sure that all students have attended the assembly in the
morning. In addition, we have to cooperate even with the cleaners, so make sure that the
students have kept the place clean.
One of the most important activities in which we cooperate is participation in various events,
such as the National Day. It is possible to help prepare a show and train students to review.
We also have to contribute to the school radio league. It is also important to cooperate with
students if they do not understand a specific lesson, and to find additional time to offer
reinforcement classes. Alternatively, in the absence of the student for the lesson, I must as a
teacher to cooperate with the students and I reteach the lesson to them. In addition, if there are
guests at the school, we must cooperate as an integrated staff to show the school in the best
possible way. This is as duty for all teachers to collaborate with all.

Disposition: Collaboration with the community/families
A teacher in your school told you that there was a plan that the principal prepared last year for
family and community collaboration to support student learning. The plan involved monthly
meetings at different venues and times so as to reach out to all parents who cannot go to school
in the morning; however, it was impractical and mostly unimportant, so they did not implement
it. Do you agree with your colleagues’ opinion? Do families and local communities play any
role in students’ learning? What do you think your school’s plan for this year should involve in
terms of goals and means of interaction and collaboration? What is your role as a teacher in
this? (number of words: 500-700)
One of the teachers told me that a plan had been implemented last year. The idea was based on
a monthly meeting with parents as a kind of cooperation between the school and the outside
community. However, this meeting is held at different times and it is a blessing for parents who
cannot attend in the morning. Raising the resentment of many teachers who saw the subject as a
heavy burden and added to it. They also strongly believe that parents have no role in the
educational process. So this plan has not been implemented again!
In fact, I completely disagree with this parameter. Organizing periodic meetings with parents is
crucial. Communication with, and cooperation with, the outside community is essential in
achieving the objectives of education. Nevertheless, cooperation with families and the outside
community must be placed as a primary goal of our goals as teachers and workers in the school.
Organization of periodic meetings at certain intervals, for example, every month is necessary. I
strongly believe that it is possible for the teacher to sacrifice extra time after school for such
meetings. Because these meetings are a bridge between the school and the community. Parents
have the right to understand the reasons for their children's levels. They have the right to know
how to teach their children. These events also allow the teacher to learn a lot about the students'
cultural and intellectual backgrounds. In addition, parents to be under the microscope to know
all things related to their children.
It is my role as a teacher to join in the implementation of such meetings, and to participate in it.
In order to meet the parents who attended the school to receive descriptive reports on the
performance of students. I had the opportunity to talk to them and tell them what their children
needed. In addition to their participation in the grades of their children and to inform them of all
the latest developments on the level of children. Talking to them also allowed me to see many
aspects I did not know about. For example, one of the students suffers from a health problem
that affects her educational level. At the very least, my talk with her mother allowed me to
know this. The meeting of parents is one of the most important responsibilities that the teacher
must do with all love, sincerity and dedication. In addition, to include them within the first
social objectives. I also strongly recommend that we organize meetings with parents, even if
that costs extra time.
I also propose that intensive workshops and seminars be held. In addition, activate the Council
of Mothers to deliver awareness messages to the outside community to make parents aware of
everything new. I also suggested activating text messages or Watsapp, to communicate with
parents and tell them new things. Regular text messages are also sent to them if students are
absent from classes or school days. In addition, continuously providing them with the level and
grades of students in various classes. It is right for them to know all the details of their son
inside the school. Students are safe and responsible; each teacher must take them into
consideration.

  • 1. Disposition assessment tool through scenarios Aligned InTASC standard 9o Aligned CF competencies 3c Aligned College Outcome 9 Scenario 1 Disposition: Attitudes towards the profession A teacher who works in the school where you have been assigned to do your student teaching always says: “We are tired, we can’t teach, teaching is a daunting job, we don’t have the time to watch every student”. S/he even tells you that joining the College of Education is the biggest mistake of your life. You feel like you want to give an immediate response to this teacher. You stand up and face /him to give a reply. What would you say? (number of words: 500-700) It is not the first time in my life that I hear such phrases: "boring teaching career", "seeing the same faces daily" and "nothing is new about education!" In addition, to many other phrases. Maybe it was normal when others said to me: you got a high rate in high school, and then you lose all your efforts when I joined the College of Education! "Or even when they say to me:" You deserve a better place than the College of Education, a place that embraces your talents. "I knew in my heart that they did not know the status of college of education. I smiled and said to them: If person who has the skills, does not have to go to the College of Education, so who will teach your children, do you want a better future for students? .. Let us build the minds of students. I always seek excuses for those who do not know the amount and status of the college, because they did not try to feel great, inspiring and influential. I always said: "OK, I am a teacher and I know the size of myself and my place, as a productive person and a contributing factor in building society. However, the shock was when I heard my colleague says: She hated being a teacher. Nevertheless, she finds that her work as a teacher is boring and tidy. I stood amazed when she said: The biggest mistake I have made in my life that I become a teacher. . She realized that she had a black look. And I decided to talk to her.. It was not easy, that the teacher thinks about himself so. Alternatively, to have a negative feeling of her great status. In addition, I want to show the bright side of what she is. Moreover, that she should know the great grace which Allah gave him I decided to talk to her, smiled at her and said: You know I feel different and distinct! . I always feel in my heart that I am obliged to thank Allah that he chose me a nice state .. to be a teacher! .. We as teachers are not ordinary people.. Everyone chose to be a teacher, chose to carry himself a great
  • 2. secret .. Every influential person and their impact in society is a milestone. That responsibility for education is a renewed responsibility, not a boring and grim one. The education environment is a productive and rich. Every day we renew, because we do not deal with machines. We are dealing with human beings, with minds, spirits and feelings. The manufacture of another human being is not easy. As students spend half their day with us, we as teachers have an active role in educating them and instilling values in them. In addition, the work environment is fertile and positive, as we meet our fellow teachers, share experiences, draw ideas, and overcome difficulties together. I will also tell her not to forget that the country is waiting for many of these students. Therefore, we as teachers must provide them with the best education, and prepare them to become good citizens. Every doctor, engineer, nurse and worker in various fields, founded by a teacher. He cultivates the science within him, and urged him to research and knowledge, until he became a producer in his community I will tell my classmate that everything in life will become boring and grim when we look at it with that view. To change that thinking is ours dictions. We can change that feeling. However, we must first see the subject with a positive eye. It is also necessary to give teaching with love and passion. We must change their daily routines. They must diversify in teaching methods. Moreover, we have to provide students with different and diverse information. We must read more in our field. The more we read the more we got. I felt pleasure and desire to put what I read and benefited from. When we urge our students to research and investigate, they will learn beautiful values from us. It also has to diversify in ways of feedback and promotion. This will create an enjoyable learning environment for the teacher and the student. I will not forget to say to her: Be thankful to Allah and grateful for all the beautiful opportunities in life. In addition, be thankful when Allah made you in a great position. It is the status of the teacher. The teacher is the transformer, the influencer and the inspiration for the students and the whole society.
  • 3. Scoring rubric 1 Does not meet target 2 Approaches target 3 On target The candidate has a negative attitude towards teaching and shows frustration at its demands. The candidate shows signs of a positive attitude towards teaching and understands its demands The candidate shows a very positive attitude towards teaching and understands its demands. The candidate appreciates the role that a teacher plays in the lives of students and in the community. Aligned InTASC standards 2l, 2m, 2h Aligned CF competencies 2B Aligned College outcome 2 Scenario 2 Disposition: Diversity You overhear your colleagues speaking about one of your pupils. They say that there is not much sense in teaching him as he cannot understand and that he will drop out early anyways. Your own experience with the child is that he is willing to learn and intelligent, but sometimes mixes up letters and has problems concentrating in the classroom. He tends to withdraw from social activities. Do you agree with your colleagues? If not, what can you do to assist this child in his learning process? And how can you address the issue with your colleagues? (number of words: 500-700) One of the most important principles that every teacher must take into account is that students are different in all aspects, their social, economic, social backgrounds and cognitive abilities. It is very natural for the teacher to notice that there are uneven levels in the performance of academic and cognitive students. Even the speed of reception and understanding of the information varies from student to student. However, this does not mean that students with less knowledge or academic ability are not capable of learning and performance. All students are able to learn, to
  • 4. understand. Nevertheless, the teacher must understand the nature of their students, and read their different levels so that he can deal with all students fairly. It is miserable to hear my fellow teachers, talking about one of my students who have learning difficulties. As this student withdraws from group activities. He also suffers from the weakness in reading; he binds the letters together while reading. It is very clear that this student does not have a wide cognitive capacity, which makes teachers believe that it is beneficial to teach him. However, that teaching it is a waste of time. They predict that he will withdraw from school. However, in fact I disagree with them, because this student despite his problem but he is trying and willing to learn, and he has intelligence. It is very bad to abandon and treat him differently from others. The teacher is supposed to be patient in dealing with students. Each teacher must take into account and expectations that students are not all of the same level. The teacher is also fully responsible for each student with different abilities within the classroom. Therefore, as a teacher, I must first change the thinking of my fellow teachers about this student. In addition, work together to encourage it. This student suffers a lot because of this problem. We must first as teachers encourage him to learn, and make an effort to learn. It is important to develop a plan to strengthen the teaching of this student. We must give him additional activities commensurate with his understanding. It is also possible to add additional lesson to focus on him. We must also understand the level of his understanding, and therefore design activities suited to his ability. For example, we can simplify the information for him and display his graphical videos until he understands the lesson. In addition, he can be taught by images, sounds. It is possible to understand the idea better. The process of evaluating this student must be somewhat special. Since the evaluation of its performance is compared to himself. Where we will see how the student began to understand, and see where he is now. Students with learning disabilities need special assessment methods and need more effort and care. It is also very important that the student return to participate in the group activities, because it will return to dealing with others. Therefore, we will encourage students to encourage this fellow to work with them. I will encourage him as a teacher, to share his colleagues and to have an effective role, so that he gets used to the various group activities. It is the principle of humanity, and the ethics of the teacher. To respect the concept of diversity within the classroom. They must be patient and have a long time dealing with different students. Every student, no matter how little cognitive ability, has intelligence. Everyone has a different ability than others. Humans are different, but differences lead to integration.
  • 5. Scoring rubric 1 Does not meet target 2 Approaches target 3 On target The candidate has a limited understanding of diversity and special needs among his student population. He does not know how to develop strategies to assist every student in the target group in their learning process. The candidate shows partial understanding of diversity in learning abilities and special needs among the student population, but does not know how to develop strategies to assist their learning process. The candidate clearly understands the meaning of diversity in the student population. He knows that every child can learn. He understands how to develop strategies to assist everybody in their learning process. Aligned InTASC standards 9a, 9k, 10r Aligned college outcome 9 Scenario 3 Disposition: Lifelong learning Some of the teachers in the school you have been assigned to graduated more than ten years ago. While observing their classes, you realize that they are not aware of latest developments in your field of teaching. Even the methods of instruction and assessments seem outdated to you. You think about how to address this topic with your older colleagues. How do you imagine yourself in your profession after ten or more years? What could make your professional future similardifferent from your colleagues’? How would this affect your teaching practices? (number of words: 500-700)
  • 6. Some believe that by the end of the years of schooling and the beginning of the job, the educational process is over. Many also believe that the period of study is over and the period of teaching begins. However, I disagree very much with them. I see education as a lifelong process. There is so-called lifelong learning. In addition, every teacher must put his imagination that no matter how the stages of experience and work, the process of education must be continuous and continuous. It is really unfortunate to see teachers have more than ten years' experience. Nevertheless, they stick to traditional teaching methods. Even these teachers use classical and old methods of assessment and methods. Using these methods is not wrong. However, the teacher must keep pace with evolution. The outstanding teacher is the one who keeps pace with the new millennium. He must also use modern methods; apply technology and modern techniques in his educational career. Because life is renewed, so the thinking of students has become different. The teacher must be modern so that he can reach the level of his students, and be role models for students. Moreover, the methods that were appropriate for previous generations may not fit the students of this generation. It is very important as trainee teachers to bring some lessons for experienced teachers to learn from their broad knowledge. Nevertheless, if I notice that one of the teachers is very adhering to the traditional ways and does not hold anything modern. On the other hand, that this teacher does not know about the new in the field of education. I will thank him first for his great efforts and for the benefit that I gained from him. Then I would suggest it in a polite way if it is diversified in teaching methods. Alternatively, it is possible to ask Senior Teacher to provide teachers with training workshops on modern methods of education. In addition, raise awareness about the importance of keeping up with the age and knowledge of modern paths in the field of education. Because all this contributes to the upgrading of students. In fact, I imagined myself ten years later. I had a terrible feeling that I would be like them, to do the lessons in a traditional and hierarchical way. However, I made a firm decision that I learned from their experience. I will be very keen on the kinds of ways I teach. What's more, I have to keep up with all the innovations. Lifelong learning is essential for every teacher, because it helps us at all stages. Lifelong learning is the subjective desire to learn from all sources, at all times and in all places, and not only at a particular stage. Lifelong learning and
  • 7. constant knowledge is useful even in the training phase, because it is a foundation stage for me as a future teacher. I have to be familiar with myself and renew myself, so that this is a permanent value for me as a future teacher. There is also an important point, since lifelong learning has to be applied in all aspects. For example, I have to take a new look at my field. In addition, to what is new in the application of teaching methods, classroom management and many more. Scoring rubric 1 Does not meet target 2 Approaches target 3 On target The candidate shows little interest in lifelong learning and is not able to see its direct link to developing practice. The candidate shows little appreciation for the need of further professional development. The candidate knows of the importance of lifelong learning, but is not willing to pursue it himself. The candidate knows of the importance of lifelong learning and is willing to pursue it in his career. The candidate can identify important areas for development lifelong learning in their area of specialization. • 8. Aligned college outcome 7 Taking responsibility A large number of students in your class perform poorly in tests and continuous assessment. What can you do to understand the reasons? What could be the reasons? What action plan would you take to address this? Would these test results have any impact in your teaching? Explain how. (number of words: 500-700) As an English language teacher, be interested in the development of students. Language is based on four basic skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The teacher must apply these skills in different ways. The teacher cannot only teach students. Since they must constantly evaluate students. In addition, they provides them with the appropriate assessment tools to know the level and progress of students. Evaluation also helps the teacher to learn the strengths and weaknesses of students. The evaluation also highlights the need for students and measures the effectiveness of different strategies for students. Evaluation is the camera that shows the effectiveness of what is applied to students. It also gives a glimpse and picture of the teacher's level of performance and student performance. If one day, I was given my students an exam in a skill, and I saw that the performance of students was not as expected. As most students had poor performance. Their continuous assessment also showed unsatisfactory results. It is necessary to do a number of things to see why the level of students has dropped. First I will discuss the students verbally, where I will devote time to talk to them at the beginning of the lesson. Alternatively, I can give them a paper to evaluate the exam and write all what they want without mentioning their names in case they passed a certain pressure. It is also possible to distribute a questionnaire paper to find out their different opinions about the skills they study and the nature of the exam. There are several possible reasons that I have to think about and expect as a teacher, as a reason for the poor students' performance on the exam. If the exam is above their level or appropriate. I have to ask students about the reasons for their poor performance. Students may be going through some pressure. For example: the exam time may be synchronized with the English language subject to the examination of other materials on the same day. I also identify the possible reasons that the students did not understand enough skills. As well as one reason, students may not be familiar with the exam pattern. The reason may be time-related, for example, if writing skills may not be enough time for students to perform.
  • 9. As a teacher, I have to diversify my assessment tools, because evaluation greatly helps to understand students' performance. Examinations are one form of student assessment. Therefore, to find out the level of students and the reasons, different methods should be used to evaluate students as much as possible. It is possible at the end of each lesson to assess students' understanding through activities, or write lessons learned. It is also possible to give them individual and collective activities to assess their understanding. It is also possible to give students different exercises that prepare them for various examinations. It is also important to measure their level of performance from time to time. As a teacher, I have to anticipate and assess the time needed to resolve any activity. Students are also trained on these assessments, which measure their performance and their policy in the treatment of this problem. The experience of different ways to assess students' understanding and performance must be tested in several ways, and then determine the most appropriate way to suit students. The results of the students were greatly influenced by the application of various activities and examinations. It also has an impact on determining the best way to measure and evaluate student performance. Not only that. However, it affects the teaching of the teacher; it gives him a clear picture in the choice of methods and modify, or even change. Assessment is the best way for a teacher to know the level of the educational situation he is managing. Scoring rubric 1 Does not meet target 2 Approaches target 3 On target The candidate has a very limited understanding of assessment and the role of assessment data in informing practice. S/he is able to partially analyze the situation in terms of providing possible reasons and action plans. The candidate takes some responsibility for the issue. the situation from different perspectives and is willing to take responsibility. The candidate can provide logical solution(s) to address the issue. Aligned InTASC standards 10 c, 10n, 10b Aligned CF competencies 2F Aligned college outcome 6 Scenario 5 Disposition: Collaboration Now that you are at school, you realize that collaboration with other teachers in particular and the whole school community in general is essential. Explain how you have reached this realization. What steps are you taking to strengthen collaboration with others? What do you use collaboration for? (number of words: 500-700) Any worker in different sectors and jobs needs to adhere to the values of the profession. One of the most fundamental values to be applied by every human being is the value of cooperation. It is known that one hand cannot clap alone. The teacher who lives in the school environment must be used to dealing with others. Every teacher must cooperate with everyone to achieve the goals and messages of education. As the teacher role model for students in that, if the student noted that the teacher collaborates with others will learn from it and will apply automatically. In fact, years ago, I thought that cooperation in school would be limited to cooperating with my fellow teachers in the same discipline. However, when I started training at school, I realized that the concept of cooperation was wider and bigger than the one I had ever drawn. Cooperation in the school is not only the cooperation of teachers of the same specialization. Cooperation is a deep and precise concept. Success in education requires cooperation with the administration, with school technicians, with all colleagues in various disciplines, even with hygiene workers and students. Therefore, I have taken a series of steps that enhance cooperation with everyone. The first is the initiative to help everyone. For example: I took reserve shares in the absence of one of the parameters. It is important that the system and calm at the time of reserve quotas, there must
  • 11. be a teacher to replace the absent teacher. Also from aspects of cooperation with specialty teachers, sit together and discuss ways of teaching English. We design classroom activities and exams for students. We can also cooperate in applying tutoring lessons to students. In addition, we can cooperate with other field parameters, in the students' level discussion. Moreover, to cooperate with the Department by committing itself to applying all its money to the students and the school. It is important to cooperate with the school administration in inspecting students who violate school uniforms. We also help ensure that the classroom is free during the school assembly. Make sure that all students have attended the assembly in the morning. In addition, we have to cooperate even with the cleaners, so make sure that the students have kept the place clean. One of the most important activities in which we cooperate is participation in various events, such as the National Day. It is possible to help prepare a show and train students to review. We also have to contribute to the school radio league. It is also important to cooperate with students if they do not understand a specific lesson, and to find additional time to offer reinforcement classes. Alternatively, in the absence of the student for the lesson, I must as a teacher to cooperate with the students and I reteach the lesson to them. In addition, if there are guests at the school, we must cooperate as an integrated staff to show the school in the best possible way. This is as duty for all teachers to collaborate with all.

The candidate partially realizes the importance of collaboration at the school community. The candidate shows interest in working collaboratively with others. The candidate fully understands the importance of collaboration at the school community. The candidate takes the initiative to establish collaboration channels with other members of the school and uses this collaboration effectively. The plan involved monthly meetings at different venues and times so as to reach out to all parents who cannot go to school in the morning; however, it was impractical and mostly unimportant, so they did not implement it. Do you agree with your colleagues’ opinion? Do families and local communities play any role in students’ learning? What do you think your school’s plan for this year should involve in terms of goals and means of interaction and collaboration? What is your role as a teacher in this? (number of words: 500-700) One of the teachers told me that a plan had been implemented last year. The idea was based on a monthly meeting with parents as a kind of cooperation between the school and the outside community. However, this meeting is held at different times and it is a blessing for parents who cannot attend in the morning. Raising the resentment of many teachers who saw the subject as a heavy burden and added to it. They also strongly believe that parents have no role in the educational process. So this plan has not been implemented again! In fact, I completely disagree with this parameter. Organizing periodic meetings with parents is crucial. Communication with, and cooperation with, the outside community is essential in achieving the objectives of education. Nevertheless, cooperation with families and the outside community must be placed as a primary goal of our goals as teachers and workers in the school.
  • 13. Organization of periodic meetings at certain intervals, for example, every month is necessary. I strongly believe that it is possible for the teacher to sacrifice extra time after school for such meetings. Because these meetings are a bridge between the school and the community. Parents have the right to understand the reasons for their children's levels. They have the right to know how to teach their children. These events also allow the teacher to learn a lot about the students' cultural and intellectual backgrounds. In addition, parents to be under the microscope to know all things related to their children. It is my role as a teacher to join in the implementation of such meetings, and to participate in it. In order to meet the parents who attended the school to receive descriptive reports on the performance of students. I had the opportunity to talk to them and tell them what their children needed. In addition to their participation in the grades of their children and to inform them of all the latest developments on the level of children. Talking to them also allowed me to see many aspects I did not know about. For example, one of the students suffers from a health problem that affects her educational level. At the very least, my talk with her mother allowed me to know this. The meeting of parents is one of the most important responsibilities that the teacher must do with all love, sincerity and dedication. In addition, to include them within the first social objectives. I also strongly recommend that we organize meetings with parents, even if that costs extra time. I also propose that intensive workshops and seminars be held. In addition, activate the Council of Mothers to deliver awareness messages to the outside community to make parents aware of everything new. I also suggested activating text messages or Watsapp, to communicate with parents and tell them new things. Regular text messages are also sent to them if students are absent from classes or school days. In addition, continuously providing them with the level and grades of students in various classes. It is right for them to know all the details of their son inside the school. Students are safe and responsible; each teacher must take them into consideration.
