Over the years, the Army has changed its standards of grooming. We went from an Army made up
of mostly farmers, and tradesmen, to an Army with career soldiers. During that time some of the
grooming standards became a little more restrictive, i.e. "the high and tight, clean shaven look". This
gave the Army service member a very distinctive look. Now as our modern Army starts to integrate
with a more tolerant society, and we start to allow religions to follow their own grooming standards.

Robertson's family created an empire, what visual merchandising is and its effects on Duck Dynasty
merchandising, the politics they have encountered so far, and the stereotypes they have revised and
created. We found that visual merchandising is one of the reasons the Robertson is so successful,
and that politics don't faze them; for they follow the Lord in all things. We also found that the
stereotype of the country boy has turned to redneck and that beards is no longer just a symbol of

The Buddha Stands On The Crown Of The Head With A Round...
This Buddha has a bun–shaped fleshy protuberance on the crown of the head with a round and
plump face, which has been severely weathered, leaving half of a halo behind the head. However, a
sense of solemn and compassionate can still be perceived from the downward gazing eyes and the
facial expression. The Buddha wears a full–shoulder kasaya with compact and specified drapery that
forms into a U–shape along the axis of the body. The left hand naturally drops to hold a piece of the
clothes yet the right forearm is fragmented. The Buddha stands on a rising lotus throne which is set
on a Sumeru throne. This artifact was excavated at Ruins of the Ancient Andier City, which is a
inner desert that locates 27 km southeast of Andier Ranch (安迪尔牧场) in Minfeng County, Hetian
Region, Xinjiang. Originally built in Han dynasty, the city was gradually abandoned during 11th
century AD, remaining to be an important site of remnants of the south Silk Road (丝绸之路) of
Han and Tang dynasties.
This artifact is severely damaged, leaving only part of the head and chest remain. The face of the
Buddha appears to be relatively round, using ink to draw the eyebrows and to emphasize the already
carved on eyelids. The upper eyelids are curvy while the lower ones are relatively flat. With plump
alae of the nose, small lips and dimples on the edge of the mouth, the figure is depicted to be
smiling. Although the neck is broken, the piece left in front of the chest indicates the kasayaworn by
the Buddha
