Informal Essay Outline
Writing an essay on the topic of "Informal Essay Outline" can be both challenging and
rewarding. The difficulty lies in the inherent flexibility of the informal essay genre. Unlike more
structured forms of writing, the informal essay doesn't adhere to strict rules, making it somewhat
elusive to define and outline.
Crafting an outline for an informal essay requires a delicate balance between structure and
spontaneity. One might argue that the lack of a rigid framework makes the task more
challenging, as the writer must rely on their creativity and intuition to guide the narrative. The
absence of a set structure could lead to a meandering and disorganized essay if not approached
with care.
On the other hand, the informality of the genre allows for a certain freedom of expression.
Writers can experiment with various styles, tones, and even unconventional structures. However,
this very freedom can become a double-edged sword, as the absence of clear guidelines may
leave writers feeling uncertain about the direction their essay should take.
Moreover, the challenge intensifies when considering that an informal essay often relies heavily
on the author's unique voice and personal perspective. Striking the right balance between
personal expression and maintaining a coherent narrative can be daunting, especially for those
unfamiliar with this genre.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the "Informal Essay Outline" poses a significant challenge due
to the genre's inherent fluidity and lack of rigid structure. However, for those willing to embrace
the freedom it offers, the process can be an intellectually rewarding journey of self-expression.

Analysis Of The Book Zadie Smith
Zadie Smith is a British African writer, she was born October 25, 1975 in the
United Kingdom. Some of her most well known books are: On Beauty, White
Teeth, NW, The Autographed Man, and latest book, Swing Time. When she wrote
White Teeth she was known as a strong and powerful writer. She wrote White Teeth
when she was 24. Her latest work Swing Time is the first piece of work that is
written in first person. In her books there are many themes that she has in her book,
she has relationships with friends and family members and how humans interact with
each other. People said that that book is the strongest. Aside from this NW one of
her strong books tells a lot about Zadie Smith; when she wrote this her father died,
her daughter was born, and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her first point that she makes is that NW takes on things that she takes on different
people who are from different races and have different voices. I believe that this is
true because Zadie Smith has different characters in her book that show different
types of people. In her life she also liked to be around many books and her life
changed a lot, which shape the different characters in NW. Zadie Smith s life is like
her character, Felix who used to get in a lot of trouble when he was young, but now it
seems like he has everything together. Zadie Smith in the novel NW, says, Hollywood
had nothing on Felix when it came to imagining the future (Smith 157). This
shows that Felix was just like Zadie Smith. When Zadie Smith like Felix was
young did not at all think about what they were going to do in the future. Zadie
Smith wanted to become a actress but she liked to read. She then became a writer.
This kind of shows the opposite of what Smith wanted; she was into drugs and now
she is very successful. Another point that Pes makes is that images of breaking
glass and things going to pieces are supposed to show the coming apart of
friendships and relationships between people in the novel. In the journal Annalisa
Pes says, The chaos, fragmentation and unruliness in which all the characters of NW
live are also suggested by metaphorical devices: images of objects breaking, glasses
splintering, dishes going to pieces are juxtaposed to scenes of human
Software Patent Protection Research Paper
Software patentability has been a controversial debate for a long time. Some
countries, such as the United States broadly allow software patents. Meanwhile, in
most countries, such as Europe and the United Kingdom, patentability of software is
on an ad hoc basis, where the certain tests and approaches are adopted and shifted
over time. The more pressing question therefore relates to the scope to be accorded to
software patents.
Accordingly, this essay examines the boundaries within which software patents are
granted under the jurisdiction of the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office (
EPO ) and the United Kingdom. For this purpose, in addition to the introduction and
conclusion, with respect to each jurisdiction, the essay first ... Show more content on

1.2Observations
1.2.1Narrow scope of patent protection for software
As referred to in section 2.1, due to the excluded subject matter, there is a
misconception that software is not patentable in Europe. However, in practice, the
EPO has granted thousands of software patents since its formulation. Scholars assess
that the scope of patent protection for software interpreted by the Boards of Appeals
is fairly limited.
Nevertheless, narrow or broad are the abstract concepts, which should be evaluated
in conjunction with the benefits and costs of software patents. Therefore, it is
relevant to examine the reasons for opening or closing door for software patents to
take a stand in assessing how broad or narrow the scope of patent protection should
be.
Some commentators argue that the optimal scope should be broad for the reasons set
out below.
First, given that copyright does not protect technical innovation and ideas of software,
patent which protects such aspect may give satisfaction to the inventor for his hard
work and intellect.
Second, software patents will stimulate investment and incentives to invent because
details of the invention are available to the public. As recognized by the EPO, it will
promote the innovation of the software industry.
Some researchers also predict that European patent law will follow the lead of the
United States in going through three phases: (i) first doubted; (ii)
Reasons Why People Go Into The Western Frontier
There are many people and many reasons why people were going into the western
frontier. According to Google, the definition frontier is the extreme limit of
understanding or achievement in a particular area. The sudden move to the west
was originally caused by gold being found. Settlers would pack up everything and
move to the west to get rich. Instead, they found wild cattle, copper, silver, and
probably most important, Indians. Because of the lack of law and government
control out in the west, lots of criminals would go out there to escape the law. One
example being Billy the kid. However, many of these criminals became legends, law
men, and ranchers. In Tombstone they found silver and people came flocking to get a
claim. In Bisbee, they

The Harlem Renaissance
Over the course of time, many different movements have occurred. The most
influential types have ranged from revolutionary movements to feminism. These
movements have changed the course of society and kept a different outlook on new
ideas. A very important idea that needed to be stressed was the freedom of African
Americans. For so long they were slaves and treated extremely poorly. Eventually,
they became free people. However, they were still not viewed as equal. It took many
years to move even one step in the right direction. A specific movement did help the
African America appear independent and equal. One of the most influential
movements and still occurring to this day is the Harlem Renaissance. The Harlem
Renaissance is the cultural movement of the 1920 s. The movement essentially
kindled a new black cultural identity through art, literature and intellect. The Harlem
Renaissance started during the Roaring Twenties. It took place in Harlem, New York.
It became most prominent in the mid to late 1920 s and it diminished toward the
early 1930 s (Henderson). The Harlem Renaissance was initially called the New
Negro Movement or the New Negro Renaissance. It was the result of numerous
components, including the Great Migration. After World War I, countless African
Americans left the country South for urban communities of the North looking for
better employment and a more tolerant environment. By 1918, Harlem, New York
had the highest number of black peopleon the planet,

Luna woke to a loud thud. She got out of her bed, worried about what she might see.
She went to the door, carefully opening it keeping her horn ready. On the other side
of the door was the last thing she expected to see. She saw a mailmare.
I have a letter for you, the mare said.
Thank you Luna grabbed the letter with her magic. Do you have any idea who sent it.
Nope. Some pony gave me this on the street and told me to give it to you; that s all I

Her first thought was to tell Celestia right away. She needed to find out what her
sister thought of it the proposal, but then she started having seconds thoughts.
Celestia would never allow her return to go back there. Why would she ever let her

about this.
At the same time, Celestia was her sister, and Luna couldn t let something as
important as this go untold. It was a terrible conundrum. She felt like neither solution

It also crossed her mind that she could ignore the letter completely, but what if the
ponies needed her. They went all the way to Equestria to send a letter to her. Luna

Luna weighed the odds. She could tell her sister about the letter, but that could

ignored it Celestia would eventually find out.
Finally, she decided she would have to talk to her sister eventually, and decided to go

She went to Celestia s room. She prepared herself for a hard conversation. There was
no way Celestia would take the news lightly.
She walked to Celestia s door and knocked. No pony answered. Luna was surprised.

How Aerobic Exercise Reduces Oxidative Stress And
Improves...
Background: The research article entitled Aerobic exercise reduces oxidative stress
and improves vascular changes of small mesenteric and coronary arteries in
hypertension authored by Fernanda R. Roque and colleagues examines the effects of
regular physical activity, namely aerobic exercise training, and its effects on
hypertension. Specifically this study aimed at identifying a non pharmacological
treatment (exercise) for hypertension, with the assumptions that exercise promotes
beneficial vascular remodeling, mechanical, and functional adaptations in the
arteries of hypertensive individuals. This study approached the link between
exercise and hypertension by analyzing spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR)
response to a twelve week exercise Prescription. Upon completion of the twelve
weeks, measurements of adaptation in coronary and small mesenteric arteries were
examined in effort to deduce the efficacy of aerobic exercise as a treatment option
(Roque, 2012, p. 687). Efforts to discover a non pharmacological intervention
/treatment for hypertension stems from the belief that prevention via lifestyle
modifications (exercise) are not only an effective means of preventing and
controlling hypertension, but also a cost effective health care strategy (Taylor 2014,
p.478). Exercise as a preventative method has been known by researchers for a long
time, specifically in terms of its ability to ameliorate hypertension, and subsequent
cardiovascular disease (CVD) in at risk

Having codes of practise within the care industry is important, due to the industry
entitling you to work with and amongst vulnerable individuals in society, ensuring
that there is a certain standard of work along with a certain standard of moral and
ethical behaviour. Within a job description the main points usually tell you what
tasks and responsibilities you are required to do, it does not state how these
requirements need to be carried out. In order to find this out, you would refer to
the relevant standards that are in place that allow you to work. Relevant standards,
like codes of practice will differ depending on the country in which you work. Each
UK country has National Minimal Standards that are used by inspectors to ensure
that services are being delivered at an acceptable level. National Occupational
Standards are also set across the whole of the UK to ensure that an individual
effectively carries out their work within the care industry. The National
Occupational Standards form the basis to all qualifications in the care sector

Language And Literature Courses And Ap U.s. History
I ve always struggled to break the boundaries entangled within the composition of
traditional essays. Between AP Language/Literature courses and AP U.S. History, my
writing had become noticeably formulaic; I relied heavily on templates and felt
awkward abandoning the traditional five paragraph essay. Although the formulaic
way of writingassisted in my capability to critically recognize the difference between
opinion and evidence, the patterns were not helpful in developing my organizational
skills. My ability to form argumentative ideas from given prompts strengthened, while
unity and coherence within paragraphs proved to be my downfall. It was not until my
second semester of English at the University of Georgia that I noticed my
organization was not comprehensible to the reader. Some paragraphs were like
mazes; they left the reader wondering how the first sentence connected to the
following sentence. Along with organization, English 1102 helped identify my lack
of transitional phrases within paragraphs and the tendency for my argument to shift.
Nonetheless, this course has highlighted my strengths as a writer, including my
ability to incorporate evidence so that it supports an intelligent, challenging thesis.
The most interesting aspect I discovered about my writing this semester is my
ability to read, appreciate, and interpret a piece of literature and write analytically
about it. In this course I ve grown to change my reading process completely. I had a
tendency to read
The Monster s Transformation
Given that, maturity and familiarization become catalyst to the Monster s
transformation. The parent less environment forces the Monster to let his curiosity
serves as a starting point. Distort from their starting point, the Monster begins to form
an opinion about himself. I viewed myself in the transparent pool! At first I started
back, unable to believe that was indeed who I was reflected in the mirror: and when I
became fully convinced that I was in the reality the monster that I am, I was filled
with bitterest sensation of despondence and mortification (16. 116 17). The pool
serves as conduit to help The Monster notice the aesthetic differences between
himself and the cottagers. However, it sets the pace for the Monster to begin to
unfairly desire that which is unattainable. Exhibitive in the comparison, is the rapid
rate at which the Monster is acquiring knowledge. Amidst knowledge, and its
acquisition, it is paramount that misconceptions and comparisons to others, be put in
perspective, but this is impossible. On his own, he formulates an opinion and does
not have another individual to challenge his belief system. The philosophical
opposition would present an alternative viewpoint from which to see himself. The
silence that surrounds him plants the seed which creates the potential to manifest into
something more devious, and destructive, as per his superhuman abilities. Successive
to learning the disparity between himself and the humans, the Monster continues to

while reading Annabel Lee he struggles with grief, from the same thing as The

The Languages and Cuisine of Mexico Essays
Mexico has 31 states and 1 Federal district which is Mexico City. While the
overwhelming majority of Mexicans today speak Spanish making it the largest
Spanish speaking population in the world there is no single official national language
of Mexico. The colonizers of Mexico forced the Spanish language on the natives, but
in the 1990s the government recognized 62 indigenous Amerindian languages,
including Aztec, or Nahuatl, and the Mayan family of languages, as national
languages. About 6 % of the population is non Spanish speaking, and some
indigenous Mexican words have become common in other languages, to include
English. Examples are: chocolate, coyote, tomato and avocado all originated in
Nahuatl.

Combining this with the specialty cuisines of European conquerors (namely the
Spanish) including wine, cheese, pork, beef and lamb, Mexicans have created a
food culture that combines a mix of old world and modern cuisine. It is widely
believed that Mexican food is extremely spicy, but this is true only to a certain extent.
Food Culture of Mexican Mayans
Southeast Mexico was inhabited by the Mayan Indians many years ago, and their
basic eating habits were based on the fact that they were primarily nomadic hunters
by nature. As a result, they lived off the land and regularly consumed animals that
roamed those lands in that time. Mexican culture food at the time simply consisted
of the meat of rabbits, deer, raccoons and armadillos. Birds were considered a
delicacy and pigeons, turkeys and quail were regularly eaten. This often included
frogs, snakes and turtles.
These meat delicacies were perfectly complemented by land grown vegetables like
tropical fruits, beans and corn. Corn was a basic supplement of almost all meals, as
it was widely grown in all the settlements of the Mayans, becoming an integral part of
the Mayan culture. Mexican food and culture of this time aimed at complete nutrition
and nourishment of the body by providing it with all the necessary minerals and
amino acids.

Daphne And Velma
Until this day I still enjoy watching sitcoms and programs that the targeted
audience is children who are under the age of 13. At first I really never noticed the
portrayal in T.V. programs for kids. I guess I was always the middle child whose
happiness depended on T.V. programs. Arthur, PBS program, showed how perfect a
family can be. Arthur, tells us a lot about children s literature and race. The most
stereotypical family is the father who goes on about his day to day job while the
mother works from home and cares about the kids. Although, I did not realize the
slight twist that my favorite show as a kid had. In addition, another show targeted to
children is Scooby Doo, Where are you! Not to mention, The Jetsons is another

Daphne is seen as the delicate yet embodiment female in the show. She has a tiny

knowledge to her character. Velma, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. She is
slightly overweight with sloppy clothing and with large glasses. In Scooby Doo

Now, in The Jetsons, it is typical that all the females were drawn to the same body

From the first chapter of this novel, the reader s attention was captured ever so easily
as the story brings about many daring and adventurous thoughts. This is a realistic
fiction novel that takes us on one team s effort to race across the country. It was an
action packed novel with lots of problem solving and conflicts. In the beginning it
starts us off with the main character of Coy Buckman wanting to race across the
country inspired by Erwin Baker. Coys dream turns into reality when he gets to do it
and it turns into a full on, see who can get there the fastest, cross country race. Many
other characters come in and form teams to make the driving and repairs ... Show

Three favorite passages from the book?
We left our tire and wheel near the texas border. Somehow it had become more
square than round (Yates 130).
Some racers such as J.J and Victor were very laid back and were in this for only the
fun. This quote is an example of a problem faced on the road. They had tire failure
for the second time but they left their supplies in Texas thinking they would save gas
as they were not expecting to need to change tires again. This is where the curious
problem solving actions come to life in this novel.
These guys don t know what s going on (Yates 188).
This quote is from a part of the novel where two of the racers were caught by the
police, and the male character, Doc thinks up a quick excuse for his high speed.
These are Doc s words trying to calm down his companion, Pamela who is scared
as they were going fast enough to be arrested. Doc calmly tells the police that
Pamela is very ill and they need to be to the hospital in a very short amount of time,
the cop says to slow it down a bit, but let them go on their way.
We ve got a secret weapon, God is our copilot (Yates 265)
When things started getting rough in the race some of the racers doubted they would

Endosulfan Literature Review
Impact of Endosulfan on Male Reproductive functions a review
ABSTRACT
Endosulfan is an organochlorine insecticide and acaracide used to control a broad
range of insect and arthropod pests on a wide variety of crops in many agrosystems.
It can cause acute and chronic toxicity. Endosulfan is a neurotoxin, haematoxin,
genotoxin and nephrotoxin. Toxicity of this insecticide on reproductive organs is
confirmed. So this article reviews experimental and epidemiological studies of
reproductive toxicity of endosulfan in males. The Literature search was carried on
PubMed for the years 1994 2014. Twelve experimental studies and two human
studies on Male Reproductive Toxicity induced by endosulfan were identified. Based
on the findings, it suggest that endosulfan can affect the male reproductive system
and also that these effects are likely to be larger if exposure occurs during the
developmental phase. Further investigation of endosulfan as reproductive toxicant is
warranted.

THE DRAMATIC SIGNIFICANCE OF SICK CHARACTERS IN OLA ROTIMI
S PLAYS Odia Clement Eloghosa ABSTRACT In this paper, the sick characters are
studied through the examination of their dramatic significance and contributions to
the development of Ola Rotimi s drama. Three aspects of dramatic significance are
identified in this paper and we argue that the sick: (1) act as witness and help the
healthy establish truth, (2) create crisis situations that stir up diverse emotions in the
audience, and finally, (3) heighten dramatic tension which boosts the degree of
suspense in the plays. IINTRODUCTION The paper examines the dramatic

Femi Osofisan, Toyin Akinosho, Umukoro et al and Effiok Uwatt have made
cursory remarks on Rotimi s use of sick characters and these are worth reviewing
here. Osofisan, examining the political imperative in African dramaturgy and
theatre practice, makes some passing comments on the sick in Hopes, a play he
considers as belonging to the tradition of socialist theatre and posits that the aim of
the sick in that play is to teach our masses the virtue of collective struggle, the
irrelevance of tribal differences in face of common economic exploitation and the
possibility of heroism among the poor and down trodden (5). On his part,
Akinosho, reviewing the performance of Rasheed Gbadamosi s Behold My

The Defense Of Marriage Act ( Doma )
In defense of marriage by John Corny, President Bill Clinton and the government
were able to approve the defense of marriage act (DOMA). DOMA is defined as
the union of a man and a woman which it was what mostly of the people consider to
be right. The main question is if people should continue this or change? The answer
is that many activists have been trying to change that definition. This changes has
already begun in many states of the country , and those who supported DOMA long
time ago, are not able to support marriagetoday. There is one thing that has never
become different, it is how people think a kid is best raised by a woman and a man.
However, today marriage appears to be in a general agreement that is being

Laws afford protection and equality to personal choices relating to marriage, barrier

Homosexual people may see self determination on these aspects, just as straight
people do. It doesn t take an expert or the government to be involved to understand
the definition of these words. The authority and the court specialists approve any

outstanding constitutional specialists on this matter are Cass Sunstein, Erwin

Reasons Why The Treaty Of Versailles Led To World War II
The Treaty of Versailles helped start World War II in many ways. It made Germany
take responsibility for the war. Germany was forced to sign the treaty and if they

Khrushchev s Removal Of The Soviet Union
The shift away from the period of DГ©tente is can be associated with the changing of
leadership and policies of the Soviet Union beginning around the time of Khrushchev
s removal from power. With the change of leadership and governmental structure, the
Soviet Union took a renewed hardline approach to populous dissent, and sought to
reestablish and solidify Soviet control over its domestic territory and satellite
governments. The new hardline government of the Soviet Unionmatched with the neo
conservative government of the United Statesunder Ronald Reagan saw a return to
earlier Cold Warhostilities.
The Soviet Union under Khrushchev was focused on internal economic and social
issues. Khrushchev sought to reform the government and economic policies through
investments in agriculture, and restructuring governmental organizations. These
plans created a weakened economy and administrative instability within the Soviet
Union. By 1964, Khrushchev reputation was beyond repair and that same year, he
was removed from power while on vacation. (shshu.edu)

Class In America By Gregory Mantsios Critical Analysis
In the first article titled Class in America by Gregory Mantsios the discussion on
class affecting the United States negatively is brought up. Gregory talks about the
fact that people do not choose to be poor but they are put into situations where they
cannot move up in class. Due to the fact that class creates an immense gap in
communities, there are many issues linked to being categorized as the lower class.
In the article Gregory states that class affects more than lifestyle and material well
being. It has a significant impact on our physical and mental well being as well.
CITE) The author connects the idea that if you are in the lower class than you will
also deal with other issues include your mental and physical health declining.
Alongside this idea, the author also states All Americans do not have an equal
opportunity to succeed, and class mobility in the United Statesis lower than that of
the rest of the industrialized world. (CITE) This goes along with the idea that once
your born into a class, breaking out of it is virtually impossible. The author is also
making the point that in the United States class is more problematic than other
developed nations and because of this not everyone is given the chance to break free
from a poor lifestyle. In the second reading title Framing Class by Diana Kendall the
idea of class is described as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Diana focuses
on the idea that the media shapes the way we view class. The media
The Nurses And The Newborns Analysis
Do the nurses care about the newborns or not?
Most people think that the nurses are compassionate and caring. In a hospital, the
nurses are the ones who have to make sure that the patients are well and take their
medications on time. They spend a lot of time with the patients and always try to
make them feel comfortable. For example, according to the essay Role of caring in
the nursing profession caring is the most important role in nursing (2). Additionally, it
states that caring is as essential as the medication that nurses give to the patients (2).
In fact, caring is part of the values of a nurse and a key of how they can make a
difference. Therefore, the nurses have not only an important role in the society but
also in human medical s life.
However, the essay, The Nurses and the Newborns , through the voice of Candy

For example, she uses a lot of metaphors through the essay which creates strong
emotions to the readers. For instance, this is where they wash the newborns like
dishes. (The Nurses and the Newborns, 1). This metaphor suggests that the babies
are objects or products. Consequently, the word choice and the language used by
Candy reinforces her opinion that the nurses are not caring and compassionate as
they should be. Besides, any parents would be upset if their babies are treated like
products on an assembly line. And so, the nurses have responsibilities to take care
of the newborns and not treating them like worm and batteries as Candy mentions.
They also have the role to advocate for the patients, thus the parents in this case.
Moreover, there are a lot of professional roles associated with nursing. For example,
according to the essay, Role of caring in the nursing profession , the nurses are
teachers and are considered as a buffer between the patient and the doctor (1). Thus,
people expect and believe that the nurses have to be caring and

Not so much in the way that he scatters social media throughout his books, but more
so in the sense that he addresses the way situations, interactions and experiences have
changed since the days of Walt Whitman. Green often does this through the use of
textual analysis and allusion, something that doesn t exactly translate very well to the
screen. Although, the screenwriters here did find a relatively savvy way to
incorporate such allusions into the film through the direct use of Walt Whitman s
Leaves of Grass (again, an aspect derived from the novel). This film specifically
emphasizes idealism, seeing something not as it is, but instead as what you d like
it to be. The film asks you to look at the way you view your work, life,
relationships, and, like the film s title, your own town, and ponder why you see it
the way you do, is it out of idealism or realism? Paper Towns also touches on an
epoch in someone s life, specifically the final stretch of high school. Not in the

after high school, but more so in that he fears the freedom that will accompany the

which divided France from the 1890 s to the early 1900 s. It was a very important
event in history. 1894 marked the start of a revolution for Jewish people, as a
French Jewish artillery officer, Captain Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason

He was convicted of treason by court martial in December 1894 and sentenced to
life imprisonment in solitary confinement on Devil s Island, a prison off the coast
of French Guiana (Derfler). Before his deportation to Guiana he was publicly
degraded and humiliated. This false conviction was based on a list called the
bordereau, which contained admission to secret French military information

Schwartzkoppen, a German military attach in Paris (Johnson). Many years passed
before the truth was uncovered, Dreyfus was innocent and although false
information was used he was an easy target because the writing in the bordereau
matched his handwriting and the information came from an artillery officer

a matter of life or death because Dreyfus feared that he would not survive the well

called the Modele 1890 120mm Banquet howitzer (Read). Along with the fact that

Photosynthesis Lab
If you were a plant how would you live? Would you be a heterotrophs or autotrophs,
either consuming other organisms or making your own? How could you make your
own food if you were a plant, not by ordering at a fast food restaurant but instead
something more genetic, like Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is when plants use its
chloroplast to make Glucose(Sugar) or Oxygen. This process takes water, sunlight,
and carbon. The formula for Photosynthesisis 6CO2+H2O+Sun = C6H12O6+6O2 or
in word terms, Carbon+Water+Sun = Sugar and Oxygen. Plants use this to make food
for themselves while producing Oxygen for other organisms like us. All this happens
in the chloroplast using its main source of energy, the sun. Without Plants producing

Analysis Of Mutability By Percy Bysshe Shelley Essay
Portfolio Part B Mutability (Greenblatt 752 753) is a poem written by the
Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley in 1816. The Oxford English Dictionary
defines the word Mutability as: Liability or tendency to change. (OED Online)
Mutability was most probably written in order to portray Shelley s own views that
humans do not have control over changes which occur in their own lives.
However, it asserts Shelley s belief that, Nought may endure but Mutability.
Shelley demonstrates this idea by using various literary devices, diction, and a
sombre tone which is reflected through his choice of writing in the lyric form.
Mutability was written at a time when Shelley experienced significant life
changing events; January 1816 saw the birth of his first child to Mary Shelley, in
the same year Shelley experienced financial struggles, and the suicide of his first
wife Harriet in December 1816. (O Neill, M.) In addition to the changes he endured
in his personal life, Shelley was very much aware of the changes happening during
1816 which was named, The year without a summer due to extreme changes in
weather. During his trip to Switzerland, Shelley and a group of other Romantic poets
began to create works to reflect this time of great change. (Gardiner, Lisa) This is
significant as being exposed to so much change during 1816 more than likely inspired
Shelley to write Mutability to demonstrate the human ability to accept and embrace
change, as it cannot be prevented.
Compare And Contrast Bipolar And Hypomania
Bipolar disorder is widely heard of across the states, even countries. The country
with the highest rate of bipolar disorders is, of course, the lovely United States of
America. We also have the highest amount of mental patients, but the lowest rate
of treatment compared with other countries throughout the world. There are
approximately 5.7 million adults currently struggling with this disorder. It is
believed that two to seven percent of the population has it, and about ten million
people will develop it. However, about half of that ten million will never be
diagnosed or treated properly. Bipolar disorder is the 6th leading cause disability
worldwide today, which not only affects the patient, but also those in their lives. A
large amount of people seem to already have their opinions and ideas of what
bipolar is, except most are not correct. Bipolar is not as simple as it may seem and
there is not just one type of bipolar, but rather two. There is Bipolar I and Bipolar II,

The Importance Of Psychology As A Scientific Study Of A...
Psychology enables us to better understand, explain and predict human behaviour,
emotions and mental processes therefore defining psychology as the scientific study
of behaviour. Psychologists seek to collect data through observations, laboratory
experiments, thematic analysis etc which enables researchers to gain knowledge
about our behaviour and to make appropriate conclusions. This essay will seek to
evaluate how psychologyhas become scientific over time, in particular looking at
how psychology was scientific during the 1870 s and in present time. The major
psychologists relevant to this essay are Wunt, James, Pavlov, Piaget and Baddeley
focusing on their role to making psychology a science. Finally, this essay will also
seek to describe Newton s influence on psychology.
Wundt (1832 1920) was the first psychologist to develop psychology into a science
by creating the first research laboratory of experimental psychology. Therefore this
enabled Wundt to establish psychology as a separate science using scientific
approaches to study the structure of sensation and perception as well as questioning
sensory information and how this gives rise to complex perceptions . Whilst naming
his approach structuralism, his work was criticised for his reliance on retrospection
his laboratory work would not be considered true experiments by present day
standards due to the fact that the observers were taught to engage in introspection .
Whilst wundt s aims were to analyse the

The Financing For Small And Medium Sized Enterprises
The financing for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) is an interesting
subject for policymakers and researchers because of the major contribution of
SMEs to private sectors all over the world and SMEs are deemed financially
constrained (Beck et al, 2010; Berger and Udell, 2006). SMEs in industrialized
countries account for more than 90% of all enterprises, contribute to around two
thirds of all workforce and almost 50% value added in non agricultural production.
Therefore, SMEs is crucial for growth promotion and poverty reduction (Baas and
Schrooten, 2006).
However, it is reported that SMEs suffer from limited access to external financing
around the world. The major reason of being this difficulty is due to the limited
information on SMEs for potential lenders (Baas and Schrooten, 2006). Many studies
argue that this specific information problem can be mitigated by relationship banking
as banks can collect private information about their costumers over time (Ongena and
Smith, 2001). Therefore, relationship banking is useful for helping SMEs to receive
external finance (Berger and Udell, 2002). This dissertation is going to examine the
effects of relationship banking on the UK SMEs access to financing

increase in bond demand shifts the demand right from P1 to P2, this shift will
increase the interest rate.

Internship Interview
After looking around at my internship, and searching organizations I decided to go
with AMBSMedical Billing and Coding Company on 18 Woodhaven Dr. New
City, New York (Rocklen County) and their contact number is (914) 643 7318.
The interviewee s position is a medical biller and coder, her name is Maritza Baez,
she has working for AMBS billing and coding Company for 6 years. This
organization receives medical Claims from Private Physician Practices that need to
be processed, coded, and filed accurately which then will get sent to the third party
payment system which is health insurance companies that each individual patient has.
. Since my Major is Medical Billing and Coding and my internship takes their coding
outside their company I decided... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since I am a going to be a recent graduate with very little experiences she advised
me to get a few credentials from organization like AHIMA and how that can really
put weight on my rГ©sumГ© and make me more noticeable. Maritza also stated
that finding work at first is going to be very hard because many companies want
Coders with at least 2 years of experience and that constantly doing many
internships or finding a long term internship is my best bet to gain the experience
necessary. There are many places to work as a Biller and Coder and as said before
many companies and practices take their Billing outside of home and into a
professional Coding company, Maritza stated to get into a Coding Company,
hospital or even insurance companies because they have coders that view it from
the insurance s perspective and check for accuracy, also law firms because there
are always Billing frauds taking place. Maritza also stated after years of experience I
can even make my own company and work from my home I think that was the best
thing I heard out of the entire conversation. I then asked Maritza about any negatives
parts of the career except for being terminated due to coding outside the company.
Maritza stated it is not really negative but the healthcare industry often changes rules
and regulations on
Snapshots Of Caliban
They have left me out, Suniti Namjoshi gives a voice to Caliban in her poem,
Snapshots of Caliban , that reimagines William Shakespeare s play, The Tempest.
She is able to extend Caliban s perspective through journal entries written in his
voice. In the original work, the portrayal of Caliban is based primarily on how he
reacts to how Miranda and Prospero treat him. Because The Tempestis written as a
play, it has limitations in providing a perspective of Calibanoutside of his dialogue
with other characters, but in Namjoshi s Snapshots of Caliban , she extends the
perspective of Caliban through the medium of poetry to highlight his power struggle,
and further extend that he is oppressed not just structurally or materially, but in his
interiority. This... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Prospero s reason for his ill treatment of Caliban is that he allegedly attempted to
rape Miranda. Prospero states, I have used thee/Filth as thou art, with human care,
and lodged thee/In mine own cell, till thou didst seek to violate/The honour of my
child. , and Caliban replies, O ho, O ho! would t had been done!/Thou didst prevent
me. . This interaction does not prove the alleged attempted rape, but rather shows
how Caliban reacts angrily to Prospero s provocation. In the play, Caliban reacts as
the monster that Prospero and Miranda make of him, but in Namjoshi s
reimagination, we are provided with Caliban s initial perception of the alleged
attempted
Taking a Look at Medical Informatics
Medical informatics are sketchily explained as the applied science at the
interconnection of the disciplines of medicine, business, information technology, and
consumer centered care, which is contributory for substantial and measurable
developments in both healthcare quality and cost effectiveness. Informatics is a
compilation of tools, resources, and methods to enhance greater intelligence in use in
regards to the latest evidence and knowledge within health and medicine. Computers
and information systems, clinical guidelines, formal medical languages, standards,
interoperability, and communication systems are designed to increase the confidence
in the reality that better health and medical care delivery are possible. (Goldstein,
2007). With the use of informatics, better patient care delivery can be accomplished
through EHRs (Electronic Health Records). EHRs allow PCPs (primary care
physicians) and specialists to view patient cares anywhere, anytime via mobile, Multi
purpose Devices (MMD). MMDs will have phones, embedded health coach software,
GPS, instant messaging, camera, music player, and e money dispenser. The health
coach software serves as a reminder for annual checkups and anticipates the patients
needs by keeping accurate updated information as it is inputted as well as automated
programs scanning the Internet or documented medical service databases for updated
information pertaining to the patient s condition and genomic type. Having all
documentation and

Oxides of non metals which act as acids
Non metals burn in air or oxygen to produce acidic oxides. The addition of water to
soluble oxides produces acidic solutions.
Oxides of non metals which act as acids include:
* Carbon reacts with oxygen when burnt to form carbon dioxide which is acidic in
nature. When dissolved in water, it becomes H2CO3 (carbonic acid).
CO2 (g) + H2O (l) â†H2CO3 (aq)
* Sulfur burns in oxygen to give sulfur dioxide or sulfur trioxide which is acidic in
nature. When dissolved in water, it forms sulfurous acid H2SO3 and sulfuric acid
H2SO4 respectively.

Electropositive behaviour increases from right to left across the periodic table and
increases down the column. As the electropositivity of the atom increases, so too the
basicity of the oxide. The more electronegative the atom, the more acidic the oxide.
Sulfur dioxide oxides of Nitrogen
The oxides of nitrogen form naturally when lightning strikes cause nitrogen and
oxygen in the air to combine. Thus the nitrogen oxides become oxidised to nitric acid,
nitrates and nitrites.
N2 + O2[IMAGE] 2NO
Nitrogen monoxide or nitrogen oxide can also be formed (industrially) in internal
combustion engines or high temperature combustion reactions in furnaces:
N2 + O2[IMAGE] 2NO
This nitrogen monoxide gas can further react with oxygen in the air to form brown
acidic nitrogen dioxide.
2NO + O2[IMAGE] 2NO2
Nitrogen oxides are soluble in water and have known contributions to pollutants
(PAN) in photochemical smog as well as its detrimental effects to animal respiratory
systems. There are a number of these such oxides including: nitrogen dioxide (NO2),
nitrous oxide (N2O) and nitrogen monoxide (NO).
Sulfur dioxide and the oxides of nitrogen profoundly contribute to the acidity of the
atmosphere and ultimately, the production of acid rain.
Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is an acidic
Difference Between Aristotle And Montaigne
Aristotle and Montaigne are two different philosophers, Aristotle is ancient
philosopher while Montaigne is a modern philosopher. Aristotle believes friendship
occurs between virtuous people and the goal is to help one another reach their
absolute best. Montaigne believes a friend is another self resulting from a fusion of
wills. The main focus of this paper is to assess Montaigne s philosophy and Aristotle
s philosophy on their view of loveand judge which view of love is more convincing
to a reasonable human being. Between Aristotle and Montaigne, Montaigne s view of
love is more convincing to a reasonable human being because friendshipis more
complex and complicated than categorizing friendship into different levels.
Aristotle s view of love is philia, while on the other hand Montaigne s view of love
is pragma. Philia is the deep comradely friendship about showing loyalty and pragma
is the deep understanding between two people. Montaigne strongly believes
friendship should be an unconstrained product of will, while Aristotle uses a rather
categorical approach to friendship, utility, pleasure, and virtue. By making strict
delineations and then using examples, he establishes a rather strict definition of
friendship that is created along lines of social class. He argues, among other things,
that friendship must be between similarly virtuous men of equal standing. In addition,
the purest form of friendship, and the one that Aristotle considers the only genuine
friendship,
Marvin Gaye Musical Effect
Musical Effects People tend to have an extensive connection with music to
announce many different occasions and events. Through music was one of the
ways that made the general public aware of different social events and as well as
problems throughout the nation. Listening to music in general can lighten up
someone s mood for example if they are sad or in a difficult situation. Marvin Gaye
and Michael Jackson were both idolized and Marvin Gaye started his singing
career when he participated in his father s church choir starting at the age of four

Who Is Responsible For Meriwether Lewis s Death
Meriwether Lewis s Death
Meriwether Lewis s death was caused by a murder by conspiracy. Lewis was
carrying secret messages between him and President Jefferson. General Lewis and
President Jefferson used code in their secret messages, no one in the government
could understand or figure out how to decode the letters and this made everyone
suspicious. Lewis was also holding a fortune which would encourage someone to
murder Lewis even more to get this fortune and have hands on the secret letters
between Lewis and the president.
During the time of Lewis s death on October 11, 1809 there was two guns used to
shoot Meriwether Lewis. One shot was found on the back of the head taking off part
of Lewis s skull and exposing his brain. The bullet did not exist the head which means
the bullet would have been stuck in the brain. The second bullet was found in the
stomach destroying organs, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also if Lewis was on a mission he would not want to quit his mission. It is very
unlikely that he could ve taken both the shots himself because the shot left him
incapacitated. Each interview of the suspects of Meriwether s death turned out to be
slightly different. For example, James Neely s quote stated that he heard 2 gunshots
at the same time. Gilbert Russell s quote stated that there was one gunshot then a
loud thump to the ground then he heard the words Oh Lord cry out before the
second gunshot was fired. His death could not have been a suicide because he couldn
t have shot himself once then talked because if the first shot was fired in the back
of his head he would be dead instantly from the back of his skull and brain being
blown off. If the first shot was towards the chest then he might be alive for a little
longer but still would be unable to speak. This evidence is from the biopsy of
Meriwether Lewis s
What Is The Biggest Battle In North America
Did you know the Battle of Gettysburg was the biggest battle ever fought in North
America? There were 160,000 men that fought in the battle. The Union Army was
led by Major General Gordon Meade and had had 85,000 men. The Confederate
Army was led by General Robert Lee had 75,000. men. The battle occurred the first
three days in July of 1863. After the Confederate Army won the Battle of
Chancellorsville in Virginia in May of 1863, General Lee decided to attack the
Union Armyin the North. This was his second attack in the North. General Lee led
the Confederate Army to the North to fight to pressure Abraham Lincoln to end the
war. If he could not win the war, then he wanted to form an alliance with England
and France. General Lee also wanted to move the battle away from Virginia during
the farmers growing season. To draw attention away from the ConfederateЕ›
movement to the North, a group of Confederate soldiers led by Jeb Stuart raided
Union supply trains. Stuart was not able to communicate with General Lee so
General Lee did not know what the Union troops were planning. At that time the
Union soldiers were led by General Joe Hooker. When... Show more content on

Informal Essay Outline.pdf

  • 1. Informal Essay Outline Writing an essay on the topic of "Informal Essay Outline" can be both challenging and rewarding. The difficulty lies in the inherent flexibility of the informal essay genre. Unlike more structured forms of writing, the informal essay doesn't adhere to strict rules, making it somewhat elusive to define and outline. Crafting an outline for an informal essay requires a delicate balance between structure and spontaneity. One might argue that the lack of a rigid framework makes the task more challenging, as the writer must rely on their creativity and intuition to guide the narrative. The absence of a set structure could lead to a meandering and disorganized essay if not approached with care. On the other hand, the informality of the genre allows for a certain freedom of expression. Writers can experiment with various styles, tones, and even unconventional structures. • 2. Analysis Of The Book Zadie Smith Zadie Smith is a British African writer, she was born October 25, 1975 in the United Kingdom. Some of her most well known books are: On Beauty, White Teeth, NW, The Autographed Man, and latest book, Swing Time. When she wrote White Teeth she was known as a strong and powerful writer. She wrote White Teeth when she was 24. Her latest work Swing Time is the first piece of work that is written in first person. In her books there are many themes that she has in her book, she has relationships with friends and family members and how humans interact with each other. People said that that book is the strongest. Aside from this NW one of her strong books tells a lot about Zadie Smith; when she wrote this her father died, her daughter was born, and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Her first point that she makes is that NW takes on things that she takes on different people who are from different races and have different voices. I believe that this is true because Zadie Smith has different characters in her book that show different types of people. In her life she also liked to be around many books and her life changed a lot, which shape the different characters in NW. Zadie Smith s life is like her character, Felix who used to get in a lot of trouble when he was young, but now it seems like he has everything together. Zadie Smith in the novel NW, says, Hollywood had nothing on Felix when it came to imagining the future (Smith 157). This shows that Felix was just like Zadie Smith. When Zadie Smith like Felix was young did not at all think about what they were going to do in the future. Zadie Smith wanted to become a actress but she liked to read. She then became a writer. This kind of shows the opposite of what Smith wanted; she was into drugs and now she is very successful. Another point that Pes makes is that images of breaking glass and things going to pieces are supposed to show the coming apart of friendships and relationships between people in the novel. In the journal Annalisa Pes says, The chaos, fragmentation and unruliness in which all the characters of NW live are also suggested by metaphorical devices: images of objects breaking, glasses splintering, dishes going to pieces are juxtaposed to scenes of human
  • 3. Software Patent Protection Research Paper Software patentability has been a controversial debate for a long time. Some countries, such as the United States broadly allow software patents. Meanwhile, in most countries, such as Europe and the United Kingdom, patentability of software is on an ad hoc basis, where the certain tests and approaches are adopted and shifted over time. The more pressing question therefore relates to the scope to be accorded to software patents. Accordingly, this essay examines the boundaries within which software patents are granted under the jurisdiction of the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office ( EPO ) and the United Kingdom. For this purpose, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, with respect to each jurisdiction, the essay first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 1.2Observations 1.2.1Narrow scope of patent protection for software As referred to in section 2.1, due to the excluded subject matter, there is a misconception that software is not patentable in Europe. However, in practice, the EPO has granted thousands of software patents since its formulation. Scholars assess that the scope of patent protection for software interpreted by the Boards of Appeals is fairly limited. Nevertheless, narrow or broad are the abstract concepts, which should be evaluated in conjunction with the benefits and costs of software patents. Therefore, it is relevant to examine the reasons for opening or closing door for software patents to take a stand in assessing how broad or narrow the scope of patent protection should be. Some commentators argue that the optimal scope should be broad for the reasons set out below. First, given that copyright does not protect technical innovation and ideas of software, patent which protects such aspect may give satisfaction to the inventor for his hard work and intellect. Second, software patents will stimulate investment and incentives to invent because details of the invention are available to the public. As recognized by the EPO, it will promote the innovation of the software industry. Some researchers also predict that European patent law will follow the lead of the United States in going through three phases: (i) first doubted; (ii)

  • 9. How Aerobic Exercise Reduces Oxidative Stress And Improves... Background: The research article entitled Aerobic exercise reduces oxidative stress and improves vascular changes of small mesenteric and coronary arteries in hypertension authored by Fernanda R. Roque and colleagues examines the effects of regular physical activity, namely aerobic exercise training, and its effects on hypertension. Specifically this study aimed at identifying a non pharmacological treatment (exercise) for hypertension, with the assumptions that exercise promotes beneficial vascular remodeling, mechanical, and functional adaptations in the arteries of hypertensive individuals. This study approached the link between exercise and hypertension by analyzing spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) response to a twelve week exercise Prescription. Upon completion of the twelve weeks, measurements of adaptation in coronary and small mesenteric arteries were examined in effort to deduce the efficacy of aerobic exercise as a treatment option (Roque, 2012, p. 687). Efforts to discover a non pharmacological intervention /treatment for hypertension stems from the belief that prevention via lifestyle modifications (exercise) are not only an effective means of preventing and controlling hypertension, but also a cost effective health care strategy (Taylor 2014, p.478). Exercise as a preventative method has been known by researchers for a long time, specifically in terms of its ability to ameliorate hypertension, and subsequent cardiovascular disease (CVD) in at risk

Between AP Language/Literature courses and AP U.S. History, my writing had become noticeably formulaic; I relied heavily on templates and felt awkward abandoning the traditional five paragraph essay. Although the formulaic way of writingassisted in my capability to critically recognize the difference between opinion and evidence, the patterns were not helpful in developing my organizational skills. My ability to form argumentative ideas from given prompts strengthened, while unity and coherence within paragraphs proved to be my downfall. It was not until my second semester of English at the University of Georgia that I noticed my organization was not comprehensible to the reader. Some paragraphs were like mazes; they left the reader wondering how the first sentence connected to the following sentence. Along with organization, English 1102 helped identify my lack of transitional phrases within paragraphs and the tendency for my argument to shift. Nonetheless, this course has highlighted my strengths as a writer, including my ability to incorporate evidence so that it supports an intelligent, challenging thesis. The most interesting aspect I discovered about my writing this semester is my ability to read, appreciate, and interpret a piece of literature and write analytically about it. In this course I ve grown to change my reading process completely. I had a tendency to read

It can cause acute and chronic toxicity. Endosulfan is a neurotoxin, haematoxin, genotoxin and nephrotoxin. Toxicity of this insecticide on reproductive organs is confirmed. So this article reviews experimental and epidemiological studies of reproductive toxicity of endosulfan in males. The Literature search was carried on PubMed for the years 1994 2014. Twelve experimental studies and two human studies on Male Reproductive Toxicity induced by endosulfan were identified. Based on the findings, it suggest that endosulfan can affect the male reproductive system and also that these effects are likely to be larger if exposure occurs during the developmental phase. THE DRAMATIC SIGNIFICANCE OF SICK CHARACTERS IN OLA ROTIMI S PLAYS Odia Clement Eloghosa ABSTRACT In this paper, the sick characters are studied through the examination of their dramatic significance and contributions to the development of Ola Rotimi s drama. Three aspects of dramatic significance are identified in this paper and we argue that the sick: (1) act as witness and help the healthy establish truth, (2) create crisis situations that stir up diverse emotions in the audience, and finally, (3) heighten dramatic tension which boosts the degree of suspense in the plays. Osofisan, examining the political imperative in African dramaturgy and theatre practice, makes some passing comments on the sick in Hopes, a play he considers as belonging to the tradition of socialist theatre and posits that the aim of the sick in that play is to teach our masses the virtue of collective struggle, the irrelevance of tribal differences in face of common economic exploitation and the possibility of heroism among the poor and down trodden (5). On his part, Akinosho, reviewing the performance of Rasheed Gbadamosi s Behold My Redeemer, a play directed by Ola Rotimi, and which has a psychiatric setting, makes brief comments on Rotimi s portrayal of sick characters. • 37. Analysis Of Mutability By Percy Bysshe Shelley Essay Portfolio Part B Mutability (Greenblatt 752 753) is a poem written by the Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley in 1816. The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word Mutability as: Liability or tendency to change. (OED Online) Mutability was most probably written in order to portray Shelley s own views that humans do not have control over changes which occur in their own lives. However, it asserts Shelley s belief that, Nought may endure but Mutability. Shelley demonstrates this idea by using various literary devices, diction, and a sombre tone which is reflected through his choice of writing in the lyric form. Mutability was written at a time when Shelley experienced significant life changing events; January 1816 saw the birth of his first child to Mary Shelley, in the same year Shelley experienced financial struggles, and the suicide of his first wife Harriet in December 1816. (O Neill, M.) In addition to the changes he endured in his personal life, Shelley was very much aware of the changes happening during 1816 which was named, The year without a summer due to extreme changes in weather. During his trip to Switzerland, Shelley and a group of other Romantic poets began to create works to reflect this time of great change. (Gardiner, Lisa) This is significant as being exposed to so much change during 1816 more than likely inspired Shelley to write Mutability to demonstrate the human ability to accept and embrace change, as it cannot be prevented.

The Financing For Small And Medium Sized Enterprises The financing for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) is an interesting subject for policymakers and researchers because of the major contribution of SMEs to private sectors all over the world and SMEs are deemed financially constrained (Beck et al, 2010; Berger and Udell, 2006). SMEs in industrialized countries account for more than 90% of all enterprises, contribute to around two thirds of all workforce and almost 50% value added in non agricultural production. Therefore, SMEs is crucial for growth promotion and poverty reduction (Baas and Schrooten, 2006). However, it is reported that SMEs suffer from limited access to external financing around the world. The major reason of being this difficulty is due to the limited information on SMEs for potential lenders (Baas and Schrooten, 2006). Many studies argue that this specific information problem can be mitigated by relationship banking as banks can collect private information about their costumers over time (Ongena and Smith, 2001). Therefore, relationship banking is useful for helping SMEs to receive external finance (Berger and Udell, 2002). Prospero states, I have used thee/Filth as thou art, with human care, and lodged thee/In mine own cell, till thou didst seek to violate/The honour of my child. , and Caliban replies, O ho, O ho! would t had been done!/Thou didst prevent me. . This interaction does not prove the alleged attempted rape, but rather shows how Caliban reacts angrily to Prospero s provocation. In the play, Caliban reacts as the monster that Prospero and Miranda make of him, but in Namjoshi s reimagination, we are provided with Caliban s initial perception of the alleged attempted

Taking a Look at Medical Informatics Medical informatics are sketchily explained as the applied science at the interconnection of the disciplines of medicine, business, information technology, and consumer centered care, which is contributory for substantial and measurable developments in both healthcare quality and cost effectiveness. Informatics is a compilation of tools, resources, and methods to enhance greater intelligence in use in regards to the latest evidence and knowledge within health and medicine. Computers and information systems, clinical guidelines, formal medical languages, standards, interoperability, and communication systems are designed to increase the confidence in the reality that better health and medical care delivery are possible. (Goldstein, 2007). With the use of informatics, better patient care delivery can be accomplished through EHRs (Electronic Health Records). EHRs allow PCPs (primary care physicians) and specialists to view patient cares anywhere, anytime via mobile, Multi purpose Devices (MMD). MMDs will have phones, embedded health coach software, GPS, instant messaging, camera, music player, and e money dispenser. The health coach software serves as a reminder for annual checkups and anticipates the patients needs by keeping accurate updated information as it is inputted as well as automated programs scanning the Internet or documented medical service databases for updated information pertaining to the patient s condition and genomic type. Electropositive behaviour increases from right to left across the periodic table and increases down the column. As the electropositivity of the atom increases, so too the basicity of the oxide. The more electronegative the atom, the more acidic the oxide. Sulfur dioxide oxides of Nitrogen The oxides of nitrogen form naturally when lightning strikes cause nitrogen and oxygen in the air to combine. Thus the nitrogen oxides become oxidised to nitric acid, nitrates and nitrites. N2 + O2[IMAGE] 2NO Nitrogen monoxide or nitrogen oxide can also be formed (industrially) in internal combustion engines or high temperature combustion reactions in furnaces: N2 + O2[IMAGE] 2NO This nitrogen monoxide gas can further react with oxygen in the air to form brown acidic nitrogen dioxide. 2NO + O2[IMAGE] 2NO2

There are a number of these such oxides including: nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrous oxide (N2O) and nitrogen monoxide (NO). Sulfur dioxide and the oxides of nitrogen profoundly contribute to the acidity of the atmosphere and ultimately, the production of acid rain. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is an acidic
  • 50. Difference Between Aristotle And Montaigne Aristotle and Montaigne are two different philosophers, Aristotle is ancient philosopher while Montaigne is a modern philosopher. Aristotle believes friendship occurs between virtuous people and the goal is to help one another reach their absolute best. Montaigne believes a friend is another self resulting from a fusion of wills. The main focus of this paper is to assess Montaigne s philosophy and Aristotle s philosophy on their view of loveand judge which view of love is more convincing to a reasonable human being. Between Aristotle and Montaigne, Montaigne s view of love is more convincing to a reasonable human being because friendshipis more complex and complicated than categorizing friendship into different levels. Aristotle s view of love is philia, while on the other hand Montaigne s view of love is pragma. Philia is the deep comradely friendship about showing loyalty and pragma is the deep understanding between two people. Montaigne strongly believes friendship should be an unconstrained product of will, while Aristotle uses a rather categorical approach to friendship, utility, pleasure, and virtue. By making strict delineations and then using examples, he establishes a rather strict definition of friendship that is created along lines of social class. He argues, among other things, that friendship must be between similarly virtuous men of equal standing. In addition, the purest form of friendship, and the one that Aristotle considers the only genuine friendship,

Lewis was carrying secret messages between him and President Jefferson. General Lewis and President Jefferson used code in their secret messages, no one in the government could understand or figure out how to decode the letters and this made everyone suspicious. Lewis was also holding a fortune which would encourage someone to murder Lewis even more to get this fortune and have hands on the secret letters between Lewis and the president. It is very unlikely that he could ve taken both the shots himself because the shot left him incapacitated. Each interview of the suspects of Meriwether s death turned out to be slightly different. For example, James Neely s quote stated that he heard 2 gunshots at the same time. Gilbert Russell s quote stated that there was one gunshot then a loud thump to the ground then he heard the words Oh Lord cry out before the second gunshot was fired. His death could not have been a suicide because he couldn t have shot himself once then talked because if the first shot was fired in the back of his head he would be dead instantly from the back of his skull and brain being blown off. If the first shot was towards the chest then he might be alive for a little longer but still would be unable to speak. This evidence is from the biopsy of Meriwether Lewis s
