The process by which the researcher
collects the information needed to answer
the research problem.
How To Collect Data:
●Data Collection is very important in
Research.
●We do research on people or things and
it must be done on Reasonable Sample.
Then we can genrealized it on all
population.
●We can not say it is research of us.
Collect data from one person or
unresonable sample size
For Example
If we research on area where Population is
10k and we took 500 respondent as sample.
And then we can say that we selected
resonable sample size And the results of

this research can be genelized on all
Population.
If the result are true for 500 respondents.
Then we can say it is true for all population.
Data Can be collected Through different
tools like from Primary And Secondary data
etc
Methods of Data Collection
Essentialy There Are Two Types:
Primary Data: Primary data are those
which are collected for the first time and are
original in character.
Secondary Data: Secondary data are
those which have already been collected by
someone else and which have through some
statistical analysis.

Primary Data may be collected through:

DATA:
●These are already available i.e. they refer
to the data which have already been
collected and analyzed by someone else.
● Secondary data may either be published
or unpublished data. Researcher must be

sometimes unsuitable.
