what has been heard and read from various types of media, and ability to
express opinions with reasons
1.1.1.1 Grade level indicators 2/2: Specify the
alphabets and the sounds;pronounce and spell the given words;
accurately read simple sentences by observing the principles of reading.
1.1.1.2 Grade level indicators 2/3: Match the pictures
with the meanings of words, groups of words and sentences heard.
1.1.1.3 Grade level indicators 2/4: Answer the
questions from listening to sentences, dialogues or simple tales with
illustrations.
1.1.2 Standard FL1.2: Possessing language communication skills
for effective exchange of information; efficient expression of feelings and
opinions
1.1.2.1 Grade level indicators 2/3: Express their own
simple needs by following the models heard.

Students practice reading and writing about food and drink
vocabularies.

4.2 Vocabulary: pizza, doughnut, ice cream, orange juice,
popcorn, broccoli

- Reading and writing about food and drink vocabularies.
- Asking and answering about food and drink vocabularies.
4.4 Structure:

5. Processoflearning
Warm up (5 minutes)
1. Teacher greets the students.
T: Good morning students.
T: How are you today?
2. Teacher asks students.
T: Do you like broccoli?
T: Do you like ice cream?
T: Do you like doughnut?
Presentation(15 minutes)
3. Teacher shows flashcards and picture cards about food and drink
vocabularies.
4. Teacher pronounces and spells food and drink vocabularies, and every
student repeat them after teacher.
5. Teacher shows students the structure; how to ask and answer about
food and drink.

A: Do you like…………..….? B: Yes, I do.
No, I don’t.
Practice (15 minutes)
6. Students sing the song “Do you like Broccoli Ice Cream?” together
and do Worksheet A.
Do you like Broccoli Ice Cream?
