Thank you all for the fantastic support during the ‘Tryathlon’. Hopefully everyone has as much
fun at the Weetbix Tryathlon on Sunday 30th
March.
Dates to highlight in the calendar: 11th
April. Totara Syndicate BBQ at school
11th
April. Hira School Soccer tournament. Parent support required. If your child wishes to
make a team please let me know.

Using the information that was gathered by the class last week we are now going to
prepare an exciting event.
A class from Renwick School wishes to visit Nelson for a school camp. There are 27
year 5 and 6 children plus 10 adult (including the teacher – Mrs Moseley). They want to
know what they can do over here – for a total of 4 days.
So your mission is to create a timetable or itinerary for these children. These are
things your itinerary must have
1. Accommodation
2. Include when and where meals will be
3. A daily list of events
4. Charges or admission fees per person
5. Transport solutions to these events. (Personal cars or a bus may be used)
6. Evening activities
You have an open budget – so enjoy this part. The sky is the limit.
Remember your teacher likes to stay in a nice location – so I am sure Mrs Moseley will
as well.
Present this information in a way that you can use the charges and prices to work on an
excel sheet during ICT time.
You can include photo’s of the places you have included.
You may want to present this using tables - on your device.
