Year 6
• 8.50: Children come up to the classroom
• 9.05: Registration cut off. Doors close. Please go to the
office to sign in.
• 9.05 – 9.30: Assembly/ RAP sessions/Guided Reading
• 9.30 – 10.40: Numeracy
• 10.40 – 11.00: Break
• 11.00 – 12.10: Literacy/Big Writing/Guided Reading
• 12.10 – 12.45: Carousel/PSHE/RE/Intervention
• 12.45 – 13.45: Lunchtime
• 13.45 – 15.20: Afternoon Lessons: Big
Question/Science/Grammar and Skills work/Intervention
• 15.20: Home time
4. Our Week
PE Lessons:
PE takes place during PPA sessions. It is a vital part of the
curriculum and a part of healthy lifestyles. Please ensure
your child takes part if able to do so.
PPA:
Every Thursday morning – children should wear tracksuit/
trainers. Children must have inhalers in school.
Homework:
Maths – Given out every Tuesday/Thursday on paper or on
Mathletics and due in the following Tuesday.
Literacy/Topic - given out at the beginning of term with set
dates for completion in the pack although extra pieces may
be given.
