My music magazine would be targeted at a specific audience. I
would like my magazine to be the same type of people that
read NME and Q magazine…
Although NME is mainly aimed at a male audience I would want to appeal
To both genders equally
The age group I would like to aim my magazine at would be 17-30,
again similar to NME

I would want people who enjoy punk rock and ‘indie’ music to
enjoy reading my magazine

Here is an example of the type of
person I would like to enjoy my
magazine
-This is Emma Willamson
-She is 17 years old and 5 months old
-She lives in the Wirral, not far from the city of Liverpool
-She dresses quite straight forward in just jeans and a top
most days but on a night out she likes to dress in punk clothing
on nights out
-She shops in places like Quiggins and Topshop
-The music this girl listens to would be quite
varied but mostly rock music, she also would enjoy
indie and punk rock
I think that my magazine would appeal to
Emma as people in my magazine would be dressed
in the style Emma likes to dress, and it focuses heavily
on the type of music she likes. I have also used images of females.

Here is an example of the type of
person I would like to enjoy my
magazine
-This is Danny Allen
-He is 18 years old and 0 months
-He lives in the city of Liverpool
-He dresses mainly in skinny jeans and and old band t
shirts
-He shops in vintage shops and other various shops such
as ‘criminal damage’ and ‘soho’
-The music this boy would listen to would be heavy metal
but would also enjoy classic rock.
I think my music magazine would appeal to Danny as the
magazine focus’s on various bands such as classic bands
and artists and some heavy artists, also the magazine has
images and stories about male artists.
