Intro:
Ourtarget audiencewasfemalesaged16-19yearolds. We found that this was our target audience,firstly we
foundthat our target audiencewasfemalesbecauseourartistwas femaleandso we thoughtthat our female
audiencewouldbeabletorelate moreto her ratherthan maleswouldbeableto. We also thoughtthat ourage of
our target audiencewouldbe16-19yearolds again,becauseourartist was 18and so the audiencewouldbe
ableto relate moreto her than maybe40 year oldwould.We wanted ourtarget audiencetobe ableto relate to
our artist and so they wouldbeableto the music videoandwouldactuallywant to watchthe music videoas they
knowwhat we are talkingaboutor know howit feels to bein our artist’s position.
Wordle: Howdid weuse this?
We used a technologycalledwordle tohelpto give us key ideas andimagesinour head,to producea good
music videofor our audiencetowatch.
Interviews: Theinterviewswe conducted firstwas to find out what our target audiencealreadyknewabout out
genreof music (indipop),whichgaveus anidea of what sorts of thingswerethe most commonthingsthat
peopleknew,and so weknew to put these aspectsin ourmusic video.

so we canget differentfeedbackfrom them throughdifferent technologies. Throughouttheprocessweput
imagesupof different shots and wescreenshottedimagesandclipsfrom ourmusic videoto get commentson
this so we couldseewhatour audiencelikedandwhatthey didnot like aboutthis imageorclipandso we could
changeitif necessary,to suit ourtarget audiencebetter.
We also put our finalmusic videoupontheir againto get feedbackandwhatour target audiencelikedaboutour
music videoandwhat they thought that we shouldimprove.
Summery:
 WWW- I think that weused our audiencefeedbackwell,andusedit to helpus constructagoodmusic
video, digipackandmagazineadvert. Thefeedbackhelpedustoproduceideasfrom whatour target
audiencewantedtoseeand helpedusto changeideas,ifnecessary.
 EBI- I think wecouldhave got moreaudiencefeedbackduringthewholeprocessofconstructingour
music video,and ourdigipackandmagazineadvert so wecouldsuit aretarget audiencebetterand
makeit morevisually pleasingtothem. I think we couldhavealso focussedonour digipackand
magazineadvert a bit more, ratherthan the majorityof it beingon our music video.

  • 1. EvaluationQuestion 3-Whathaveyou learned fromyouraudiencefeedback? Intro: Ourtarget audiencewasfemalesaged16-19yearolds. We found that this was our target audience,firstly we foundthat our target audiencewasfemalesbecauseourartistwas femaleandso we thoughtthat our female audiencewouldbeabletorelate moreto her ratherthan maleswouldbeableto. We also thoughtthat ourage of our target audiencewouldbe16-19yearolds again,becauseourartist was 18and so the audiencewouldbe ableto relate moreto her than maybe40 year oldwould.We wanted ourtarget audiencetobe ableto relate to our artist and so they wouldbeableto the music videoandwouldactuallywant to watchthe music videoas they knowwhat we are talkingaboutor know howit feels to bein our artist’s position. Wordle: Howdid weuse this? We used a technologycalledwordle tohelpto give us key ideas andimagesinour head,to producea good music videofor our audiencetowatch. Interviews: Theinterviewswe conducted firstwas to find out what our target audiencealreadyknewabout out genreof music (indipop),whichgaveus anidea of what sorts of thingswerethe most commonthingsthat peopleknew,and so weknew to put these aspectsin ourmusic video. Youtube: Thisimagebelowshowsus wherepeoplehave watchedourvideo andwherepeoplehave put it. Classvideo: Facebookpage:Wehave used our Facebookpagetoput up different surveys for our audiencetoanswer,and so we canget differentfeedbackfrom them throughdifferent technologies. Throughouttheprocessweput imagesupof different shots and wescreenshottedimagesandclipsfrom ourmusic videoto get commentson this so we couldseewhatour audiencelikedandwhatthey didnot like aboutthis imageorclipandso we could changeitif necessary,to suit ourtarget audiencebetter. We also put our finalmusic videoupontheir againto get feedbackandwhatour target audiencelikedaboutour music videoandwhat they thought that we shouldimprove. Summery:  WWW- I think that weused our audiencefeedbackwell,andusedit to helpus constructagoodmusic video, digipackandmagazineadvert. Thefeedbackhelpedustoproduceideasfrom whatour target audiencewantedtoseeand helpedusto changeideas,ifnecessary.  EBI- I think wecouldhave got moreaudiencefeedbackduringthewholeprocessofconstructingour music video,and ourdigipackandmagazineadvert so wecouldsuit aretarget audiencebetterand
  • 2. makeit morevisually pleasingtothem. I think we couldhavealso focussedonour digipackand magazineadvert a bit more, ratherthan the majorityof it beingon our music video.
