Operating my own landscapebusiness for over 25 years, I havemanaged projects
ranging fromsmall private landscapeprojects to large company projects spanning over
many months. As owner operator of truck, bobcat, excavators and plant machinery I
have carried out site up and construction of retaining walls, concrete paving, and
undertaken horticulture practices such, garden bed preparation, weed and disease
control, removal of rubbish and waste, installation of plants and turf, and bush
regeneration and restoration practices.

2. ENDEAVOUR ENERGY- RESTORATION to ACCESS TRACKS AND MAINTENANCE
For last 18 years have subcontracted for Endeavour Energy repairing and restoring
vehicle access tracks and worksites throughouttheir network. Using plant machinery in
conjunction with horticulture knowledgeI have worked in isolated transmission areas
such as: national parks, catchmentand protected areas that are environmentally
sensitive, dealing with protected species, native fauna and flora. Examples of works
included: access track improvements and clearing, minor civil, including culverts,
bridge and gate repairs, insulation for erosion control, bush regeneration and
environmental restoration practices.
COLLEGIANS FOOTBALL CLUB -DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTING COMPLEX
During 2012 to 2014, I managed and supervised a large projectfor Collegians Football
club to restore the former Lysaghts ground into the Collegians Sporting Complex. The
projectincluded extensive playing surfacerestoration, including draining and watering
systems, turf selection and installation, weed and disease control, and landscapesite
set up and construction of gardens and surrounds. Theground is now in an ongoing
maintenance program. The project has involved working with executive staff of the
club to their grounds men and employees and other tradesmen on site to achieve the
outcomes projected by the club. Itis a joint effort, and the smooth transition this
projecthas been appreciated by all at Collegians.
SHUTDOWN OPERATIONS
I have over 25 years experience in refractory operations and heavy industry completing
shutdown projects across furnacesites in Australia. These include 2015 - January in
Adelaide with AGC – AusGroup- Orara Glass furnace, October 2014atPenrith glass
furnacewith Veolia, and Brisbaneand in Adelaide with Andrecco Hurl. Using my

3. machinery and an additional driver - I covered bobcat demolition and refractory
operations 24 hours/day and site supervision. I understand theimportance of daily and
hourly contingency planning during shutdowns, and the absolute importanceof
meeting deadlines during shutdowns. Having theability to put in place alternative
operations is the key, and I believe my 25+years operations experience in this field
hold me in good stead.

Central Region Section on various projects since 2003.
The nature of the work carried out has included the construction and maintenance of powerline access
tracks, the installation of culverts and crossings, bridge repairs, vegetation clearing and on occasion
some gate repairs.
There are often challenges in undertaking this type of work. These include; areas that are
environmentally sensitive, customer sensitive situations, the ongoing safety of IE staff in the planning
of suitable outcomes, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with relevant other departmental
protocols and, often being required to carry out works at short notice. Additionally, the work is
required to be cost effective and provide long term benefit to Integral Energy.
