7. I felt these magazines we’re quite similar to my magazine. They all have the identifier on the left hand
side so there magazine is recognisable to the readers at all times; I similarly used an identifier on the
left hand side which is unique to my magazine to make it recognisable to readers.
The magazines all use quite plain backgrounds with one large lead image. ELLE and GO magazine have
used white backgrounds like I have on my magazine; I think this can give a more professional effect
than if the background is a place. These two magazines have also overlapped the image of the person
with the text like I have with my magazines. I think doing this can sometimes make the magazine look
more advanced and professional as it uses more skill and editing to do this.
Like my magazine, these magazines aren’t to crammed with information but there is just enough to
grab the reader’s attention and also show the reader what sort of articles will be inside.
