2. Mise En Scene;
The location is the arctic, which would make the
children think of Christmas as snow connotes
Christmas to small children. The arctic would also
makes them think of Huskies which every little child
wants, so they would be drawn to this movie on the
location alone.
3. Camera:
There are high angle shots when the man and woman are
talking about the names of the dog’s. which shows that
they are in charge… for now.
There are also Low angle shots when the dogs are running
which shows how powerful the dogs are when they are
running together. This would entice the audience as
there aren’t many films about sledding.
There is also a close up of ‘Demons’ face moving his eye
brows. This adds humour to the trailer as it shows that
‘Demon’ is mischievous and also shows that ‘Demon’ is
trying to be dominant in the movie. Which is turning out
to be a success.
4. Sound:
There is the typical Disney soundtrack at the beginning
of the movie, which would entice the audience as
Disney is a successful film company.
There is also a voiceover when the Dog’s are being
named this is done to add some character to the
dogs.
5. Editing:
There are wipes of all the text overlays, which is usual
as the text usually moves off the screen when moving
to another transition.
There are a lot of straight cuts in the movie trailer to
show the reality in the film trailer.
