in our
…
Ancillary Texts
We wanted strong synergy between our music video and ancillary texts therefore chose aspects of our
video to emphasis such as the theme of love and the sincere and ‘real’ presentation of the performer. We
drafted out our ideas on paper before using a Nixon D3100 still camera to bring them to life.
When we were happy with the shots we took the photos off the 4 GB SD Card (Class 10) by using SD Card
reader made by Integral and put them onto our mac computer. Once there was began to edit them on
photoshop to create the perfect effect and layout for our ancillary texts.

In order make the finish look professional we used website Da Fonts to select a font we felt would work
best with the mood of out ancillary texts. Then used a template from the teacher to crop our pictures to
the right size. Ending in the completion of the digipak and advertisement.
