1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?

2. Laptop/MacBook Pro/computer

3. I used my MacBook Pro at home to work on my
magazine. This was useful as that means I could
do extra work on my magazine. However, when
I was at school I worked on the computers and
iMacs available.

4. Photoshop

5. • I used this program to create my magazine.
Photoshop allowed me to create the magazine
from scratch. It also allowed me to select the
fonts and colours I wanted and to edit my
pictures.

6. Canon EOS 1100D camera

7. I used this camera to take pictures of my model
for my magazine. I had easy accessibility to this
camera because it was my Mums. I also choose
this camera because it is a high quality camera
so therefore took better quality photos. The
camera had the function of a shutter so I used
this when taking my pictures so that I had more
frames to choose from when picking my final
pictures.

8. Memory stick

9. I used this to transfer my work from my
MacBook Pro at home to the iMacs and
computers at school. This way of transferring
files was much easier than emailing work from
home to school and visa versa.

10. Microsoft word

11. I used this to write up my article to put on my
double page spread. I used this because it was
functional and let me check my word count.

12. Scribd

13. This is an online publishing website. I used this
to upload Microsoft word documents and then
was able to embed them onto my blog. I used
this to put my article onto my blog.

14. Slideshare

15. I used this program to upload my PowerPoints
onto my blog. I used this to upload Evaluation
task two as it is a different way of presenting the
evaluation.

16. Dropbox

17. I used this too see my draft magazine feedback
document privately which was sent by my
teacher to me through twitter direct message.

18. Twitter

19. I used this to frequently contact my teachers to
ask them questions about my magazine. I also
used twitter to ask my peers for second opinions
on the pictures I took of my model.

20. iPhone

21. I used this to keep in contact with my model
Ellie to see when she was available for the two
photoshoots I did with her.
