1) Ammonium

NH3 Clear solution and pungent smell
evolved after boling.
2) Creatinine (Weyl test)
Test Observation
Urine Creatinine
Sodium Nitroprusside Color changed to darker Color changed to light
yellow from light yellow. red from colorless.
Sodium Hydroxide Color changed to light Colored changed to
orange. darker red.
Glacial Acetic Acid Color changed to light Colored changed to light
yellow. yellow.
3) Uric Acid
Test Observation
Urine Sodium Urate
Folin Reagent- Color changed from Color changed from
Phosphotungstic acid yellow to dark blue. The colorless to dark blue.
pH is 7 or 8. The pH is 12.
4) Glucose (Benedict’s Test)
