2. I used Travin due to him having the
same characteristics as my target
audience (a male between the ages of
17 to 19).
Why did I pick this actor?

3. Due to my video covering the topic of domestic
abuse as well as alcohol abuse the obvious
selection would be to choose a female actor.
However I wanted to challenge the stereotype as
males in abusive relationships are not often
portrayed in the media. By covering this it brings
light to a subject that is important.

4. Whilst looking at other music videos I found very
few that portrayed man showing emotion. This
may be due to the stereotype that men are tough
and shouldn’t show emotion. I hope to also
challenge this in my music video.

5. I only wanted the focus to only be on one actor. I
want the audience to focus of this actor so they
can connect with him.
