When producing a final edit of our short film, there will be some major differences/improvements to
the rough edit. The first and most important is that the rough edit is unfinished, scene 2 and scenes
after scene 5 are all missing and will be added to the final edit in order for it to make sense. Also
there is no sound on the rough edit, we are planning to have the final edit with either little or no
talking so we will probably put music over the top of it just so it’s not blank and soundless. I will
move some of the clips closer together, there are intentional gaps in the movie but I will shorten
them down because sometimes it is blank for too long. I may improve the title sequence a little bit
because I just feel it could look better and maybe be a little bit longer. Transitions between certain
clips will have to be improved because it looks quite noticeable on some of them and looks
unprofessional. I may cut some clips down, removing parts of clips that don’t necessarily need to be
there just to make the clip look better and shorten it down a bit.
