Joe Adelmann and Jim Jablonski are co-founders of Zoetic, a startup developing safety technologies. They have military backgrounds and technical degrees. Zoetic's first product is an app called NOD that uses smartphone sensors to monitor driver behavior and provide feedback to reduce accidents, the leading cause of death among teenagers. NOD could one day link safe drivers to insurers through a marketplace. Zoetic ultimately aims to apply similar sensing technologies across healthcare, fitness, accessibility, and other domains.

Joe was in the Air Force for almost 7 years and worked as the program manager of a software
program and a developmental engineer. He instructed officer candidates at MIT and deployed
to Afghanistan. He has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, an MBA from
UMASS Amherst, and is completing an MPA in International Development at Harvard.

Jim worked in the Army as a helicopter pilot, an advisor to foreign military officers, and as a
company commander in charge of 300+ aviation maintenance troops. He has deployed to Iraq
and Afghanistan. He has a BS in Physics with an Electrical Engineering focus from West Point
and is starting an MS in Operations Research at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
