2.  Coating is a process in which a layer of polymer is
applied or deposited directly on one or both surfaces
of the fabric
 Different types of fabric can be used as substrates:
knitted, woven, nonwoven, etc.
 Coating has become an important practice for adding
value to textiles – it can augment the functional as
well as aesthetic aspects of a fabric
 Some common coating applications include
 Anti-bacterial
 Fire-retardant
 UV resistance
 Hydrophobic or water repellant

4. MAGNOROLL is a compact and robust modular system for various
applications. Highly effective in applications involving liquids, pastes,
lacquers and foams (stable, instable and meta-stable) on substrates
such as textiles, plastics, nonwovens, carpets, glass, foils and other
materials
Features:
 Zimmer’s MAGNET SYSTEM PLUS, with up to 3 magnet bars per
screen, guarantees 100% uniform application of any kind of coating
 Single or double screen coating: equipped with magnet roll rods or
magnet blade squeegee, in working widths from 500 - 3200 mm
 MAGNOROLL coating technologies: installed either as magnetic low-
add-on or magnetic direct roll coating system, in working widths
