 In the city of Garden Grove, approximately
62% of youth engaging in crime are involved
with drugs and/or alcohol.

 Implement a Youth Drug and Alcohol
Recovery Program

4. Plan
 Collaborate with Community Partners:
◦ GGUSD
◦ Orange County Probation Department
◦ Orange County Juvenile Drug Court
 Recruit additional Volunteer Intern Counselors
 Utilize current Community Services program
sites in Garden Grove:
◦ Buena Clinton Family Resource Center (FRC)
◦ Magnolia Park Family Resource Center (FRC)
◦ BGCGG Family and Youth Outreach Program (FYOP)

5. Proposed Services
 Sliding Fee Scale payment option
 Outpatient- Brief to Intensive Treatments
 Individual and Group Drug and Alcohol Counseling
 Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics
Anonymous (AA) meetings
 Family Components
 Case Management/Referral Resources for
Insurance and In-Patient Treatment

6. Costs
 State allocated funds already in place to remodel Buena
Clinton FRC.

◦ $23,250 total, for 6 current Management staff (one-time fee)
 Total Costs (first year): $144,450

7. Projected Revenue
 24 Volunteer Interns Serving 240 clients per week
 $20 per hour service charges
 240 clients x $20 = $4,800 revenue per week
 $4,800 x 52 weeks per year= $249,600
 $249,600 (revenue) - $144,450 (cost) = $105,150
to train additional staff and expand program in the
second year.

Abuse Resources for Garden Grove families.
