spreading mass literacy.

development.

 Students go beyond the text books to study complex topics
based on real world issues.
 Such as the history of their town , analyzing information
from multiple sources , including the internet and interviews
with experts.
 Project based class work more demanding than traditional
books based instruction.
 Students utilize original documents and data.
 Students work is presented to audiences beyond the teacher
including parents and community groups.
 Studies should enables students to reach across
traditional disciplines and explore their relationships,
like James burke described in his book connections.
 History, literature and art can be interwoven and
studied together.
 Integrated studies enables subjects to be investigated
using many forms of knowledge and expression.
 As literacy skills are expanded beyond the traditional
focus on words and numbers to include graphics , color,
music, and motion.
 Working together on project teams and guided by
trained teachers.
 Students learn the skills of collaborating, managing
emotions and resolving conflicts in groups.
 Each member of the team is responsible for learning
the subject matter as well as helping teammates to
learn.
 Cooperative learning develops social and emotional
skills ,providing a valuable foundation for their lives as
workers ,family member , and citizens.
 Assessment should be expanded beyond simple test
scores.
 Teachers, parents and individual students can closely
monitor academic progress and use the assessment to
focus on areas that need improvement.
 Tests should be an opportunity for students to learn
from their mistakes, retake the test and improve their
scores.
 Students form a student community group
 In class hour last 15 minutes teacher tell about current
affairs.
 Every class room computer should be available.
 Every month end Government authorities should speak
to students.
 Computer should install of schools in village , students
and teacher know to operate computer within a few
days with manual instruction. Cont…..
 The students then created a database contain
information about their family , village and town.
 All schools should have environmental science
subject.
 Every week inspect a schools and report to primary
education officer.
 Including a agriculture studies
 Finally this ideas are useful to Enhancing a
primary education.

  • 2.  Children learn the basic.  It is at this stage the formal education of the child starts.  It is this stage education that is responsible for spreading mass literacy.  Mass literacy is a basic requirement for economic development.

  • 5.  Students go beyond the text books to study complex topics based on real world issues.  Such as the history of their town , analyzing information from multiple sources , including the internet and interviews with experts.  Project based class work more demanding than traditional books based instruction.  Students utilize original documents and data.  Students work is presented to audiences beyond the teacher including parents and community groups.
  • 6.  Studies should enables students to reach across traditional disciplines and explore their relationships, like James burke described in his book connections.  History, literature and art can be interwoven and studied together.  Integrated studies enables subjects to be investigated using many forms of knowledge and expression.  As literacy skills are expanded beyond the traditional focus on words and numbers to include graphics , color, music, and motion.
  • 7.  Working together on project teams and guided by trained teachers.  Students learn the skills of collaborating, managing emotions and resolving conflicts in groups.  Each member of the team is responsible for learning the subject matter as well as helping teammates to learn.  Cooperative learning develops social and emotional skills ,providing a valuable foundation for their lives as workers ,family member , and citizens.
  • 8.  Assessment should be expanded beyond simple test scores.  Teachers, parents and individual students can closely monitor academic progress and use the assessment to focus on areas that need improvement.  Tests should be an opportunity for students to learn from their mistakes, retake the test and improve their scores.
  • 9.  Students form a student community group  In class hour last 15 minutes teacher tell about current affairs.  Every class room computer should be available.  Every month end Government authorities should speak to students.  Computer should install of schools in village , students and teacher know to operate computer within a few days with manual instruction.
