SoCalGas has reduced its own water usage by 25% since 2007 by installing low-flow fixtures, using recycled water, and planting drought-tolerant vegetation. SoCalGas estimates its programs and rebates will help customers save 414 million gallons of water alone in a single year. The company offers rebates to both residential and business customers for water and energy saving appliances and equipment. SoCalGas also provides water conservation education and has worked with water agencies for over a decade to help customers save water and energy.
