Cuba.
- Found in urine and larvae in blood of patients, India
- Adult worms found in lymphatic abscess by Joseph Bancroft, Australia
- Discovered they came from Culex quinquefasciatus and Aedes aegypti
mosquitoes.
- Mode of transmission discovered
- Léon Seurat erected the genus Wuchereria and placed this worm in it
as Wuchereria bancrofti.
