On Monday, October 17 from one p.m. until two p.m. I observed people s behavior in Starbucks on
Clemson University campus. The majority of the population consisted of students most likely ranging
from eighteen years old to twenty four years old. This time of day seemed to be particularly busy, and
from where I was sitting I observed human behavior as they interacted within the space. The room
itself had an ordering area, an area to gather while waiting for your drink, and then multiple seating
arrangements, such as booths, high tables, large tables, and small tables. Even with all the furniture the
space had little obstructions, making it easy to oversee activity. People s interaction with others
depended greatly on whether or not they were with other people. If someone was alone they did not sit
at a table that had four or more chairs, instead they would opt for a table that was made for two
people. Pairs of people meeting each other at the location hugged, but when saying goodbye, they
simply walked away, not stopping to give a farewell. Groups tended to consist of younger students,
while individuals were more likely to be older students. While waiting to order their drink groups
would talk loudly, but upon sitting each individual would pull out something to occupy them and all

In the spring of 2014, the Northwestern University football team did something that has never been
done before in the history of college sports. Several scholarship players voted on whether the team
should unionize. These same players believe that they should be compensated for their play on the
athletic field. Countless collegiate sports fans also believe that college athletes from around the
country should be compensated for playing sports; however, paying college athletes would cause
multiple problems in college athletics. Most people do not understand how much student athletes are
given to them free of charge just to attend a university, while the majority of other average students
are stuck with the burden of paying for their education. College athletes should not be paid since
schools do not have the money to pay student athletes, it would not be fair for athletes who do not play
football or basketball, and they have athletic scholarships that allow them to receive a free education.
Various people around the country believe that since football and basketball are such large sports, that
they bring in enough money to pay all athletes at that college. This is simply not the case. According

Over the years, Batman s character had become a household name when discussing anti heroes from
the DC universe. Although not every comic book fan would consider him an anti hero, people would
still associate anger and broodiness when referring to the character of Bruce Wayne due to his
apparent dark nature. Frank Miller s the Dark Knight Returns had changed things; not just did it focus
on Batman s broody nature, but it had also expanded on the internal battles that had been the cause of
the darkness and the reason for Batman s questionable methods. Miller managed to bring needed
humanity to Batman that had been missing in earlier ages. The qualities that made the Dark Knight
more in touch with his humanity were; having his origin story trauma affect him until adulthood,
experiencing internal psychological conflict, and possessing moral flaws.
Throughout book one of the comic, there were several panels in which Bruce Wayne s trauma was
mentioned. It seemed that Bruce s childhood trauma of seeing his parents killed had followed him into
his adulthood. On pages 22, the reader was clearly able to understand Bruce s internal battle as he

Bollywood took the world by storm several years ago. Among the most viewed theater releases to
date, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge struck a fancy with many movie goers as a feel good feature

purposely written lyrics to help relay the story. Following the subtitles proved a bit daunting and the
lyrics did not always seem to fit with the musical notation, but there was definite expertise in moving
