comparison. Since I am juxtaposing the characters degrees of rightness, I believe that
the rightness of the reasoning, not just their ultimate stances, should be examined.

Although both books are written about similar topics, it is expression that separates
the two. In the novel Beowulf by Seamus Heaney, and in the novel Grendel by John
Gardner, both books explore what it means to recreate ancient english stories. By
reading Beowulf or Grendel, one can distinguish the literary difference in each book
when it comes to style of writing, format, and common elements in each book,
therefore causing the reader to compare the overall purpose of each book.
The purpose of Beowulf shines through it s Old English roots. While reading the
novel, the reader may notice the use of Old English on the left side pages.
Although this may be confusing to some, to others it connects the book to the

Statement of the problem:
The driving forces behind this work are related to the increased use of nanopolymers
for biomedical purposes. Charged and neutral polymers are routinely used for gene
and drug delivery. However, limited studies are performed to test their safety.
Therefore, the originality of this work lies in its attempt to evaluate the toxicity of
three widely used polymers for delivery of chemotherapeutic agents. Furthermore, we
aim to establish efficient methods for nanotoxicity testing through comparing the
results of three different models ( 2D, 3D invitro cell cultures and invivo zebrafish
embryo)preparing these materials for clinical application.
Abstract
Nanomaterials exhibit a wide range of applications in different aspects of human
life . In biomedical fields, nanoparticles are packaged into different nanocarriers for
drug and gene delivery especially for improving the delivery of chemotherapeutic
agents to tumors. However, no sufficient data that detect their toxicity. In the present
study, the toxicity of three different polymers that represent promising drug carriers
will be evaluated using 2D, 3D cell cultures and zebrafish embryos. The polymers to
be studie include the well known cationic transfection agents Poly(ethylenimine)
(PEI) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) for their established cytotoxicity as well as

75 Alcohol Gaming and Charity Funding Public Interest Act 1996 and the
amendments to the Gaming Control Act, 1992 to legalize video lottery terminals
(VLTs). Before re introducing VLTs into Ontario, it is critical to understand the
strategies and outcomes that led to its current legislation.
Current Situation:
After the snap election, the new PC Government is considering introducing VLTs into
Ontario to generate more non tax revenue. The current legislation gives exclusive

strategy to prevent the current government from succeeding in a similar fashion.
The first steps to take in re introducing VLTs is to approach the stakeholders who

Ideas about human nature are central to theorizing about politics because humans are
the center of politics. Politics would not exist without human nature. One theory says
that, something that humans are born with requires us to generally desire the
company of other humans and thus a need for political structure is born. Once more
than a few people inhabit an area, the desire for a functioning society kicks in and
defines the rulers and the ruled. However, this viewpoint is not shared by all theorists.
The disagreement in theories bring about the nature versus nurture, reason versus
impulse, and naturally selfish verses naturally altruistic arguments which are key to
understanding human nature. The nature versus nurture argument is referred to as
perhaps the most fundamental debate about human nature (Heywood, 17). This
classic argument centers around which is more important: biology or social
environment. The nature theorists argue that there are established and unchanging
human characteristics that everyone is born with. This theory implies that to
understand politics one must understand biology, as this is where politics stems from.
This theory takes on a scientific nature, rather than a political one. The most
impactful biological theory was that of Charles Darwin in On the Origin of Species

Sexual Content in Children s Programming Children s programming is beginning
to raise a concern among many parents due to sexual content being included along
with other inappropriate scenes like violence, offensive language or verbal abuse.
In a news article by Cheryl Wetzstein, she reports that one in ten parents agreed that
there were a lot of good programs on for kids because all the programs are
portraying sexual content or violence instead of being educational to children (pg.
40). Due to the recent technological advancements, children s media exposure has
increased, causing more children to be bombarded with shows featuring sexual
innuendos, sexual activity or adult subtext. Not only is the sexual content being
included frequently in programming, children are facing the content in
advertisements as well. An example of this is the advertisement poster for The Lion
King. The film poster features the face of Simba in which many analyzers and
parents are pointing out that between the eyes and above the nose features an image
that looks like the butt of a naked woman creating a sexualized image some children
could pick up on (Fyfe, 2006, pg. 8). Sexual content throughout children s
programming can have both positive and negative effects on the children watching.
