Write Me An Essay Online
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Write Me An Essay Online" presents a unique set of
challenges that go beyond the typical essay-writing process. The difficulty arises from the
inherent paradox: the act of composing an essay requesting someone else to write an essay
online. This paradoxical nature necessitates a delicate balance between sincerity and irony, as
one navigates the intricacies of expressing a genuine need for assistance while maintaining a
reflective awareness of the task's absurdity.
The first challenge lies in establishing a clear and coherent narrative that captures the essence of
seeking help online. Articulating the reasons for such a request demands introspection and self-
awareness, as the writer grapples with the admission of their limitations or constraints. Balancing
vulnerability and authenticity becomes paramount in creating a compelling and relatable piece.
Moreover, addressing the mechanics of online essay writing services requires a nuanced
approach. The writer must navigate the ethical considerations surrounding outsourcing academic
tasks, addressing potential concerns about plagiarism, and acknowledging the responsibility that
comes with seeking external assistance. This entails a careful examination of the implications,
both ethical and academic, of turning to online platforms for essay writing support.
The essay must also delve into the broader landscape of online writing services, exploring the
various options available, their reliability, and the potential pitfalls. The writer is tasked with
conducting thorough research to provide an informed perspective on the subject, offering
insights that extend beyond personal experience and encompass the broader implications of this
growing industry.
Additionally, striking the right tone is crucial in this essay. Balancing a serious inquiry into the
need for assistance with a subtle touch of humor or irony can be challenging. The writer must
maintain a tone that engages the reader without trivializing the importance of the topic.
Achieving this delicate equilibrium requires a keen understanding of the audience's expectations
and a mastery of rhetorical devices.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of "Write Me An Essay Online" is a task that
demands a multifaceted approach. Navigating the paradoxical nature of the subject, addressing
ethical considerations, conducting thorough research, and striking the right tone all contribute to
the complexity of the writing process. However, it is through skillful navigation of these
challenges that a well-crafted essay can emerge, shedding light on the nuanced aspects of
seeking assistance in the digital age.
For those seeking similar essays or assistance with various writing tasks, a wealth of resources is
available. Platforms like HelpWriting.net offer a range of services to cater to diverse needs,

Rhetorical Analysis Of The Mercedes Ad Of The Red Sl...
What is it about an advertisement that makes people want to purchase that item?
Could it be the idea of showing it off, personal attraction, or utilizing it in everyday
life? The advertisement I chose to analyze does absolutely stunning in doing all
three and more. The Mercedes ad of the red SL class car gives off a romantic look
due to the color of the car and the caption on the left; and a rough and powerful
look at the same time from the rigid mountainous background. The images looks
extremely realistic, like every detail of it was picked up by a high tech camera.
The main focus of the image is the front of the car closest to the foreground, with it
going out towards the other parts making it one elegant picture. Ethos, Pathos, and
logos play a major role in this ad to appeal to the audiences senses and attract the
viewers the ad is aimed towards. This ad does marvelous in using rhetorical
techniques to appeal to the viewer and persuade them to purchase this car. My ad
has a mountainous background with a tint of blue in it, giving the impression of it
taking place in the morning and the feeling of the cool breeze right before the sun
rises. The sun can be seen beginning to rise on the right side slightly above the car;
with the full capacity of the suns light being obscured by the mountain in front of it.
A body of water can be seen cutting through the mountains almost behind the front of
the car, adding to the images beauty. There is a Mercedes symbol on the top right

have this system set up. B.Allow for training and understanding of all team members

Basically, this means that there was no catastrophic cause for the crash, such as a
wing falling off, but rather the crew flew into the terrain unaware of where they
were located. In fact, had we been so unfortunate as to crash into the side of the
mountain that day in question, it would have been, in fact, a CFIT. One particular
case of CFIT was caused by the crew not trusting their instruments. It took place in
the United States, where an experienced crew of two pilots conducted a night flight
from the West Coast. They took off into a very dark night, as there was very little
ambient light from the moon or external lights. And a physiological effect of flying
made the situation more risky. Now, from a physiological perspective, each of us
as human beings has what scientists call proprioceptors, which are located all over
our body and assist us in feeling, touching, and maintaining balance. We also have
fluid in sections of the inner ear that assist us in balance. The function of these two
areas the inner ear and the proprioceptors are normally affected when drinking
alcohol and can be blamed for the spinning sensation one gets when drunk. From a
flight perspective, there is a commonly known effect called inversion illusion,
whereby during night flying the proprioceptors in your lower back and backside feed
the incorrect information to the inner ear. This misalignment causes pilots to feel as
if they are pulling
Reflection On Life Experience
Session 1 Reflection: Life Experience Opening my eyes slowly, I could see
millions of cracks cascading my windshield. Trying to move, as the pain began
jolting through my body. A surprised voice, grabbing my attention as I became
conscious. He was telling me to stay still, as the sound of the saw ate away at my
door. I realized then that I was in a terrible car accident and somehow, I survived.
This was the moment that changed my life, the moment that Jesus took the wheel.
Hours prior to that, I sat alone; sadden, angry and dumbfounded. How could a man
I ve loved for 17 years, love someone else? Thoughts flooded my mind, as I tried
drowning my pain with every bottle that hit my lips. Tears flowing down my face,
as I slowly began to slip away. Wanting to forget every lie and hoping to erase all
the years I sat blinded. The feeling of every breath escaping me, as the couch felt
like the only comfort I had. Then the day came that I stood before the judge, as he
sentenced me to 60 days in the county jail. I had just kissed my kid s goodbye
outside, as I didn t want them to see me handcuffed and taken away. Watching their
eyes fill up with confusion and sadness, broke every part of my heart that
remained. Explaining to them that I did something bad and needed to be punished,
was something I felt ashamed of. Especially that I would be absent from their lives,
was by far my greatest struggle. I just knew that I had to rise from this and come
back stronger than the person I was

A Dog Is The Only Thing On Earth
A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. This
quote by Josh Billings gives the image of how powerful the bond between human
and dog is great. One profession show this tremendously and that is the K 9 Officer.
The K9 Officer is part of the criminal justice system and works with many different
department within the system. They are seen with the FBI, working with local riot
control and even with the military police. They are a major part and are animal
caretakers. They work extremely close with their partner, the canine. The canine is
also an officer with the ranks of other law enforcers. The feelings of the handler
and the canine has to be equal or the relationship and teamwork on the job will not
work out and harm them. This career truly show the bond between man and man s
best friend. The reason this career was created to have the dogs helps the police
solve cases and maintain order with the people. The doghas been working alongside
mankind since about 15,000 years ago with they were first domesticated. The first
true police dogthat is seen today did not come until 1888. Sir Charles Warren, the
commissioner of the metropolitan police of London, was the first person to have
train dogs to help track down a killer known as Jack the Ripper. The results from
this was not what he and the people of the city was hoping to happen. Both dogs ran
off and had to to seen police searches to find them. This started the idea of having the

Essay on A Psychological Analysis of Alice Walker s...
A Psychological Analysis of Alice Walker s Everyday Use
The human mind is divided into three parts that make up the mind as a whole.
These parts are necessary to have a complete mind, just as the members of a family
are needed to make up the entire family. The use of components to equal a whole is
often exercised in literature. Alice Walker s short story, Everyday Use, contains the
idea of family and of the mind, therefore her work can be evaluated through
psychological methods. Through their actions, the characters symbolize the three
different parts of the mind: the id, the ego, and the superego.
The first type of mind division, the id, constantly strives to satisfy basic drives...[and]
seeks immediate gratification ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Maggie s personality is closely connected to the ego section because of her powerful
desire to do right and to solve her problems realistically. Mama explains that after
dinner Dee went to the trunk at the foot of [the] bed...Maggie hung back in the
kitchen over the dishpan (Walker 95). As Dee tries to usurp the quilts from her
mother, Maggie tries to help her mother by doing the dishes. Maggie tries to act
morally while Dee tries to take advantage of her mother. While discussing the
rightful owner of the quilts, Maggie said, She can have them, Mama ...like
somebody used to never winning anything, or having anything reserved for her
(Walker 97). Instead of fighting over the quilts, Maggie willingly gives them to her
sister. Even though Maggie wishes to have them, she does not want to produce
conflict in her family. Maggie is accustomed to getting less than her sister and has an
unselfish personality. Her actions are parallel to an ego because the ego defines
moral actions.
Finally, Myers states that the superego strives for perfection and judges our actions,
producing positive feelings of pride or negative feelings of guilt (380). The superego
acts as the mind s conscience. In the story, the narrator, Mama, clearly represents the
superego portion of the mind structure because of her guilty conscience and her
wishes to be perfect, both mentally and physically.
Comparative Character Analysis on Simeon and Levi from...
Anita Diamant s novel The Red Tent is a Midrash revolved around the biblical
passage of Genesis 34: Dinah and the Shechemites. In this story Anita Diamant gives
a voice to Simeon and Levi s sister, Dinah, who is known as the woman who was
raped then later loved by Shechem. After Shechem s injustice of Dinah, Shechem and
his city were slaughtered by Simeon and Levi. Both biblepassages and the novel The
Red Tentprovide some similar and some different characteristic traits for Simeon
and Levi which in turn allows the readers to take away and learn more from the
Midrash story. The readers are able to further involve themselves in the relevance of

Simeon and Levi grew through both their experiences of violence and faith.
Eventually they repented their sins they brought upon Joseph, their brother. The most
significant aspect of their personalities is their zeal for cruelty and violence. In the
Testament of the Patriarchs, it is understood that God came to both the Simeonites
and Levites discussing their enthusiasm for violence. Eventually, even though warned
by Simeon, the Simeonites could not overcome their obsession of cruelty and
violence. Therefore, the Simeonites numbers eventually decreased and they were
finally absorbed into the Judahites. The Levites, on the other hand, overcame their
zeal for cruelty and violence by focusing their fixation towards God thereby
becoming a holy priesthood.
Through passages in the bible and the Testament of the Patriarchs, Simeon and Levi
were characterized as cruel, rash and violent leaders who were considered righteous
in their vengeance of Shechem. But they made many dishonest and immoral
decisions such as enslaving Joseph. Even though they made these dishonest decisions,
the Levites were able to sustain and thrive as a holy priesthoodНѕ whereas the
Simeonites were unable to change their ways, this eventually led to their
obsolescence. In Anita Diamant s novel, The Red Tent,
Taking a Look at N. Meningitidis
N. meningitidis and the diseases that it is responsible for are diagnosed by blood
samples or a spinal tap to retrieve cerebrospinal fluid samples. Since the bacteria
grows fastidious and is oxidase positive, it is preferred to grow it on a blood agar
plate or a chocolate agar plate at temperatures ranging from 35 37 degrees Celsius.
It can be identified using the Kovac s oxidase test and if a positive result is found it
should be followed with a carbohydrate utilization test. If this too shows
N.meningitidis then a serological test should be performed to determine which strain
is present. The strains of A, B, C, Y and W135 are the only known associated with
humans and disease. Strain B is a weaker form and does not generate an adequate
immune response therefore natural infection is capable of generating some immunity.
It is also important in the lab testing of N. meningitidis to remember that the bacteria
is capable of fermenting maltose in cultures which would set it apart from N.
gonorrhoeae. It is imperative to utilize the Biosafety Level 2 to prevent contamination
in lab workers. Most strains and diseases caused by N. meningitidis are treated with
the administration of intravenous penicillin in a natural form. Ceftriaxone,
ciprofloxacin or rifampin as well as Chloramphenicol in children are used in
treatment. It is also advised that anyone who may be exposed to the disease be treated
with prophylactic treatment in order to prevent secondary infections. The treatment
Air Pollution Is A Serious Problem
Air pollution is a very serious problem throughout the world. Exposure to air pollution
is easy and it can affect your health. Air pollution is the introduction of particulates,
biological molecules, or other harmful materials into Earth s atmosphere, causing
diseases, death to humans, and damage to other living organisms such as animals and
food crops, or the natural or built environment (Air Pollution, 2016, June 27). This
definition proves that exposure to air pollution can harm the main things that we
need to survive on earth. Depending on the environment an individual live in the
quality of air can be good or bad. People living in the urban area have a higher
chance of being exposed to air pollution than those living in the rural. I think if air
pollution keep effecting the things we need on earth than we would no longer have
any resources. In order to keep the resources we need we should decrease the
exposure of air pollution in our environments and make the quality of it better. Use
of hybrid cars might improve the quality of the air. For this reason, tax credits ought
to be given to drivers of hybrid vehicles.
Air pollution from motor vehicles is also a serious matter on our resources because
of the exhaust fumes. Due to this issue, when individuals are exposed to gas that
come from their cars, it can affect their health. In order to reduce these negative
effects individuals should keep their cars clean. Being exposed to particulate matter
also can cause asthma
How Did The Simpsons Impact On Family Values
The Simpsons Impact on Family Values
The Simpsons first came to life on April 19th, 1987. It was aired as a filler in the
commercial breaks of The Tracey Ullman Show and was animated in 30 second
mini episodes. Matt Groening, the proud producer and creator of The Simpsons,
made these 30 second episodes after being recognized for his life is hell comic strip
and asked by a fan, Pauly Platt, if he would be interested in coming up with ideas for
an animation. Groening ceased the opportunity and now, 18 years on The Simpsons
have become a global success and have been honored with: a Peabody award, over 20
Emmy awards, over 50 Emmy nominations, over 20 Annie awards, four Genesis

The Simpsons are also so well loved because they have no specific target audience;
they have such a wide variety of humour, from slapstick to academic references,
which is sure to have all age groups, male or female, in stitches.
Family values are basically social norms for describing a family and the proper roles
of its members. Most often, the term connotes a conservative ideology that supports
sexual morality and traditional gender roles, and that opposes homosexual
relationships, same sex marriage, and abortion. The term may also refer to endorsing
censorship of phenomena in the media (such as many forms of nudity, profanity,
sexuality, and violence) which children might view en.Wikipedia.org.
Many people feel The Simpsons promote family values because basically every
bizarre event that has happened in every episode has been as a result of 1or more
member/s of the family trying to please the rest of the family. This is evident in
Blue collar slob in which homer becomes an astronaut. He does this because he feels
he has lost the respect of his family and friends, and assumes that astronauts receive
great respect. Although this episode can be interpreted as simple comedy, putting a
blue collar slob in outer space, there are also underlying messages that highlight the
love that keeps the Simpson family together. It connotes that respect must be in a

Polydectes was wanting to send him on a death mission so he would not have to

were actually 3 other sisters of the gorgon Medusa, they shared an eye between the
three of them. So Perseus went to go and find the Graiai to get directions on the
whereabouts of Medusa. So Perseus took their eye and blackmailed them for
directions on which he had got from them and from there he went searching for the

Hydra Vs Grasshopper Research Paper
There are differences between a hydra and a grasshopper; that all begins with how
they digest their food intake. In one thing they are similar and that is how they
have an extracellular digestion. When an animal has an extracellular digestion
means that the breakdown of food in compartments that are continuous with the
outside of the animal s body (Reese 899). Examples of an extracellular digestion is
when an animal has a gastrovascular cavity or a alimentary canal. First, a hydra is a
predatory animal and belongs to the phylum Cnidaria and the class Hydrozoa. A
hydra has a simple body plan, this is common because animals like this have a
digestive compartment with a single opening this pouch, called a gastrovascular
cavity, functions in digestion as well as in the distribution of nutrients throughout the
body (Reese 889). In simple words a gastrovascular cavity has a single opening and
works as both a mouth and an anus. For instance, a hydra uses its... Show more

Grasshoppers differ from hydras because they are animals who contain a
alimentary canal. An alimentary canal is a complete digestive tract, consisting of
a tube running between a mouth and an anus (Reese G 2). When an animal has a
alimentary canal it allows the to ingest food while earlier meals are still being
digested, a feat that is likely to be difficult or inefficient for an animal with a
gastrovascular cavity (Reese 900). There are many features to an alimentary canal,
most of which include accessory glands which also include salivary glands,
pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. The salivary glands are in charge of lubricating the
food and moistening the mouth, it s also produces amylase which is an enzyme to
help break down carbohydrates. Also in the alimentary canals the food gets pushed
by a process called peristalsis. There are also sphincters, which regulate the passage

The Heart Reserves A Special Place For Music
The heart reserves a special place for music. To many, music is more than a melody
or a combination of sounds pulsating in ears; it brings out emotions, memories, and
shared vibes. Whether a person is an avid listener or casually listens to music,
everyone has a few specific albums that laid a foundation for the music they currently
enjoy. Recently, I have rediscovered one of these albums, Madvillainy, when putting
my old playlist on shuffle. The album consists of Daniel Dumile, the album s MC
(rapper) who goes by many aliases, but most commonly as MF Doom, and Otis
Jackson Jr., or Madlib. The underground hip hop album was released in 2004 and is
now considered a classic by many. The album s 22 tracks consist of skits,
instrumentals, and rapping with most tracks around two minutes long. Madvillainy
has proven to me to be a masterpiece and a consistently good listen.
One of the qualities that set Madvillainy apart from its peers, is the superb
production performance given by Madlib. The album s production is magnificent,
even to Pitchfork standards, saying, the samples are smart and never played out,
and the production and rhymes reveal a determined sense of cooperation, as Doom
spouts off his most brilliant lyrical change ups and production conscious playoffs
(Pemberton). Like stated in Pitchfork, the production works cohesively with MF
Doom s rapping. For example, on the song Meat Grinder , the beat alone seems
quirky, sounding like it belongs in an episode of Spongebob,
Parents Keep Child s Gender Secret By Jayme Poisson
In Parents Keep Child s Gender Secret, Jayme Poisson describes how one family
choses to raise their child genderless. They are also keeping the child s sex a secret,
although it is not clear if they are trying to allow the child to define its sex. Gender
and sex are two different distinctions that are often mistakenly seen as the same thing.
Society places genderexpectations based on sex, so it s easy to see why they are
looked at as the same thing. It s important to remember that gender represents a
choice, while sex is determined before you are born. The option of choosing is
important when considering the ethics of raising a child. It s why I believe that it is
ethical to allow a child to define their gender and unethical to allow a child to define
their sex.
There are three common arguments against allowing a child to define their gender.
The first common argument is that the child will bullied and may not be mature
enough to handle it. Unfortunately, children can be bullied for a number of reasons
regardless of their gender. Parents do not allow bullying to affect other decisions and
they should not allow bullying to interfere with who their child wants to be either. It
is he one doing the bullying that has a problem, not their child.
The second common argument against allowing a child to define their gender is that
friends and family will disapprove. However, there is always someone who will
disapprove of any decision you make. Voting, eating meat, sexual
What Are The Eight Assumptions Of Family Systems Theory
Smith and Hamon, chapter 5, discussed Family Systems Theory (FST), which I
found to be not only insightful, but also beneficial to me as I assess my patients
and their families, but also as I reflect upon my own family. FST addresses eight
assumptions which I found to be engaging and shine light on how families
function and how we as APNs might begin to look at the family dynamic in order
to better assist these families cope with the stressors of life while at the same time
address their family needs in a productive and meaningful way. The following are
the eight assumptions of the FST, 3 of which I will briefly discuss for the purpose
of this forum discussion: (a) the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, (b) the

survive under certain circumstances such as limited resources. I find these two
theories to be complementary to each
Iowa City Zoning Code Essay
The Iowa City Zoning Code was designed to be developed together with the Iowa
City Comprehensive Plan; the goal is to stimulate the progress of a better quality of
life for the population. Moreover, the regulations cover the provisions of the law for
land use control in Iowa City. The document regulates the land use authorization for
each of the zones and details the specific areas outlined in Iowa City. There are many
land use area in the Iowa City Zoning Ordinance, as shown in Map 1 (Appendix C).
However, this document will cover the use of residential land and will explain three
of them: the Low Density Single Family Residential Zone (RS 5), Medium Density
Multi Family Residential Zone (RM 20), and Neighborhood Stabilization Residential

The maintenance is to prevent any conversions from single family to multi family

Table 3 and Table 4 (Appendix A) show the permissions allowed in the RS 5, RNS
12 and RM 20 zones. In these particular areas is not allowed any type offices, so
home based consultant office cannot locate in the residential zone areas. Therefore,
religious institutions can be located in RS 5 and RNS 12 zones with a special
exception, but the RM 20 zone is allowed with provisions, as it can show in Table 4
(Appendix A). Moreover, with the purpose of improvement of the livability, all the
three zones mentioned can have provisional parks.
The gun market has been a discussed topic, and yet it is permitted to a homeowner
sell guns from their houses. According to the Institute for Legalization Action
(NRA ILA), the person, in Iowa, does not need to have a permit to purchase a rifle
or shotgun, but to buy a handgun an annual permission is mandatory, and the
license can be used to buy more guns. Furthermore, the person does not need a
permit to sell or buy, if it is an antique handgun. Therefore, the three zoning chose,
RS 5, RNS 12, and RM 20 do not allow any commercial or retail uses.
The Iowa City Zoning Ordinance encompasses most of the residential land use
categories. However, the ordinance does not cover exceptional case, for example,
Life Lessons Found In The Outsiders
In The Outsiders a boy named Ponyboy is a greaser who lives with his brothers.
Through the book he learns many lessons, such as the one that the rich kids can be
nice. He saw that when he met Cherry Valance. She treated him as an equal just
like we have all been taught to do. This is one of the many life lessons I found in
The Outsiders. Another life lesson that I found is that you can t run away from
your problems, because eventually the will catch up to you. I saw this when
Ponyboy and Johnny ran away after accidentally killing a Soc, a.k.a, a rich kid.
They live in an isolated church and the only things they have to do are sleep, smoke,
and read Gone With the Wind. When their friend, Dally, comes to see them they say

Epic Of Gilgamesh Essay
In The Epic of Gilgamesh the lines that are repeated at the beginning and end of the
epic show that only immortality a human can gain lies in creating things that last
beyond a person s lifetime. While at the beginning of the epic Gilgamesh is seeking
eternal life, when he concludes his journey he realizes that he has created an enduring
legend through the foundation of his city, Uruk. Through this legend, Gilgamesh can
live on in the memory of his people, long after he has passed away. The epic is able
to convey this message multiple ways. The opening lines immediately introduce and
impress upon the audience the importance of Gilgamesh, and the significance of his
kingship. The epic continues on to describe the city of Uruk, with special
consideration given to the walls surrounding Uruk. 3. Finally, the ending repetition
of the lines shows that Gilgamesh has become aware of the legacy he has created in
Uruk, and and accepts that in lieu of immortality. okay so these are the three? points
you are talking about in your paper? make sure they match up with your paragraphs
proving them and are not so vague The very first lines of the epic focus on Gilgamesh
and the impressiveness of his accomplishments. They stress the wisdom he attained,
drawing attention to it right away with the repetition of what he learned;
He who saw the Deep, the country s foundation,
[who] knew..., was wise in all matters!

Causes Of Environmental Pollution
People throw away whatever they don t need any more for more than hundreds and
thousands of years, this reaches from the old medieval period where people throw
their trash and feces on the street to the modern time where people throw plastic in
the oceans or pollute the air with toxic gasses and carbon dioxide. In this paper, I
will focuses on the challenges around the pollutionof the air with carbon dioxide.
The nature of this problem is the nature of the primary human behavior itself.
Humans in their basic behaviors only focuses on their own problems and tries to
fulfill his own demands and only uses other humans to help him in this process, often
in a quid pro quo relationship. This instincts lead to the behavior that humans follow
the quote Out of sight, out of mind and get rid of their unwanted stuff without caring
about the effects on other people or the environment. Even if the pollution of the air
get effects the person itself, the utilization of the drive with the car is higher than the
negative impacts that his pollution has on himself.
As long as there are practices that can fulfill some people s demands, are cheap and
results in a pollution of the environment, there will be ongoing pollution.
The challenge to start actions against our primary instincts and convince people to
do the same is quite hard. In developed countries it is hard and almost impossible to
convince people to spend more money to reduce the pollution for everybody. Like
it can be seen in a lot of this countries, the only way is to create alternatives that are
even cheaper or bring other benefits that eliminate the negative effect of spending
money. So it can be seen that most of the people switched to energy saving light
bulbs or led light bulbs after they knew that they will save money in a longer term.
In undeveloped countries it is a lot harder to convince people to stop polluting and
switch to renewable energy, because they got even less money and can t afford
green investments that would pay off in a long term perspective. The only way to
get people in undeveloped countries to stop polluting is to offer finance support that
make it possible for them to pay for the long term investments or to decrease to
amount the cost
The Importance Of Landscape Throughout Hard Times By...
Alicia Gonzalez
Professor Richard C. Smith
English 150
8 October 2016 The importance of landscape throughout Hard Times by Charles
Dickens is seen in various locations that help to thread the novel together. When new
scenes are presented to the reader, we are often given explicit details of the characters
surrounding and current environment to draw us into that particular moment. The city
is mainly described in a more negative light, with words such as ugly and
monotonous. In contrast, the countryside (away from the hustle of the working
town) is portrayed in such a way that it feels like a pure or sacred space, free of the
blemishes of the working town. Dickens creates an underlying importance with how
he describes the city versus how he describes the countryside, being that the latter
becomes the place of death for one of the main characters Stephen Blackpool. The
city of Coketown is a town introduced as an uncompromising, brutal, and fearful
place defined by its work and industrialization. The description that we are given of
Coketown makes it clear that it is not a place of enjoyment, pleasure, or nature. It is
heavily characterized by its repetitive and endless labor. Coketown is therefore
essential as a setting displaying the negative aspects of industrialization. However,
there is additional significance in the negative portrayal of Coketown. The idea of
monotony in the industrial city is one that is returned to several times throughout the
novel. Dickens writes
Ethnic Conflict Of The Soviet Union
Ethnic Conflict
With a long stemming past of ethnic conflict within Yugoslavia, the country at long

Europe since World War II (Multi Ethnic Conflict: Yugoslavia.). Yugoslavia was a
country composed of six republics The socialist republic of Croatia, Macedonia,
Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia. The country was created
after world war one in 1929 and was under the control of the Soviet Union up until
1991 when the Soviet Union broke apart. With the fall of the Soviet Union came the
inevitable turmoil, violence and destruction within Yugoslavia the country began to
fall apart. Ethnic conflict had been the root of war and violence through out
numerous countries all around the world for centuries. The ethnic conflict of
Yugoslavia was caused by differences in religion and ethnicity, different perspectives
on government and politics, and disagreements over territory. Yugoslavia was just far
too small for the different nationalities and government structures within it.
Yugoslavia has long suffered with problems concerning religion and ethnicity. There
was always a back and fourth tension between the ethnic groups. During the 1930s it
became apparent that the ethnic groups were unwilling to blend and merge together.
The Serbs who made up about 40 percent of the population dominated politics. The
Croats and Slovenes resented Serbian aggressiveness. These ethnic groups lived an

Irony In Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
Alice Munro s, How I Met My Husband , provides a good example of both
situational and dramatic irony. The situational irony lies in the fact that the reader
does not expect the mailman to be Edie s husband at all. Throughout most of the
story, the narrator speaks about Chris Watters a war hero and commendable man.
The way that she refers to him with such an affectionate description and tone makes
the reader believe that they will end up together. However, this is not the average
love story. This is a realistic love story, and though it is unexpected, she does not end
up with Chris, but the mailman who she had always waited on to deliver his letters.
This is when the dramatic irony takes place. The mailman developed the idea that she

The Global Impact of Computing on Society
There is no doubt that this is the age of technology that started the day where the
computer discovered. This technology grows rapidly and has reached each aspect of
human s life with different forms and images, negatively or positively., it became one
of the largest scientific achievement of the 20th century. This technology is the
computer. But does this mean the life would have stopped if the computer had not
been discovered? In other words, how life changed because of this discovery that
started in 1946 when the Eniak computer {1} was the first general purpose
electronic computer. I am often tempted to recall the form of the past before the
tremendous technological revolution that has taken place in the world, especially in
the means of communication, exploration of space and sea, and I wonder if our lives
have really become better than before, is it thanks to modern technology that we live
a quieter, calmer and peaceful from within us?

Edgar Allan Poe Mentality Essay
Men have called me mad; but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is or
is not the loftiest intelligence whether much that is glorious whether all that is
profound does not spring from disease of thought from moods of mind exalted at the
expense of the general intellect. (Poe 1) The topic of the madness always kept Edgar
Allan Poes mind occupied. A lot of his works deal with the issue of sin, guilt and the
criminal s mind. In my paper I will demonstrate the different kinds of mentality of
the guilty in Poe s stories.Edgar Allan Poe is most well known for his Gothic,
detective and mysterious stories. His inclination for writing about these topics comes
from his childhood. After his father abandoned the family and her... Show more

Freud divided the human mind into three pieces. The id is responsible for the
instincts. These biological instincts help humans to survive. The ego is liable for
satisfying the demands of the id . The superego motivates us to behave in a
socially acceptable way. (McLeod) In the case of murder one of these parts of the
mind is damaged. That means a person commits these kinds of crimes because they
are harmed. Neurosis and psychosis emerged from interruptions or distortions to
the formation of a coherent self, and from peculiar mechanisms of negotiation
between the self and the world. (Valentine 91) Kylie Valentine writes these words
in her book about modernist literature, and these thoughts can also equal to Poe s
case. It is hard to decide whether the storyteller is mad or judicious and if the tales
are true or not. His protagonists always see the world from a different view. They
cannot think reasonably when the anger comes uncontrollable. They take actions
intuitively as they were perfectly natural. Poe writes in first person singular most of
the time. This writing technique makes the stories more accurate. The reader almost
believes that Poe is the mad protagonist of the short stories. This feeling is not
baseless, if we think of his alcoholism and depression. In my paper I will analyze
some well known murder stories form Poe. All of them deal with the situation

these issues require to be focused on first. As reported by Long and Young (2007) a
couple may complain about arguing all the time, although through interviewing the
clients a trained counselor listens for key issues such as financial struggles or trust
issues could actually be the main concern. Another way counselors can obtain
information about the client of clients is by conducting tests, like the Minnesota

Molarity Lab Report
The concept investigated in this lab was the relationship between absorbance and
concentration, or molarity. This relates to the guiding question, How could you
make 1 liter of Pirate Purple #2 dye? , because in order to create more dye, you must
obtain an equation from the graph to calculate the amount, in grams, of blue and red
dye that must be mixed to create the certain shade of purple. The molarity of a
substance is the amount of moles per one liter of liquid that it contains. A solutionis a
mixture that contains two or more substances. A solute is one substance that is
dissolved in another substance, while a solvent is the matter that the solute is
dissolved in. When plotted on a graph, absorbance and concentration(molarity) have a
Reasons Why Americans Won The Revolutionary War

Captain John Parker, 1775. What is the Revolutionary War? Well the Revolutionary
War was a war that s started in April 19,1775 and lasted till September of 1783 (8
years, 4 months, and 15 days. The Revolutionary War began with Britain losing the
French and Indian war which ended in 1763. This left the British with a huge debt
they had to pay, so they ended up charging the American Colonists. In the end, the
American colonists couldn t handle it anymore thus started the Revolutionary War.
As you know the American Colonists won the Revolutionary War by sharpshooters,

Decay Of Decay And Decay
Introduction Isotopes are elements which have the same number of protons but
different number of neutrons and these elements have same atomic number but
different in atomic mass.because of their characteristic nature of producing
radiation and their energies. Isotopes are used in various areas like industries,
agriculture, medical field and research centers. They are decayed by emission of
energy in the form of alpha, beta (electron) beta plus (positron) and gamma rays.
(1) Types of radiation Alpha particles cannot be used for measurement from outside
the body because they are such low penetrating power. A sheet of paper stops alpha
particles. Beta particles have a modest penetrating power, thus they produce useful
results in the area of their release, and they can be distinguished by sensitive
counting tools. Block of wood stops beta particles. Gamma rays are highly
energetic, and they can be readily discovered by radiation counters used outside the
body. A thick concrete wall stops gamma rays. Radioisotopes are unnaturally
produced unstable atoms of a chemical element which have a different number of
neutrons in the nucleus, but the same number of protons and the same chemical
properties. May live for only minutes. Their existence is measured in halflives, how
long it takes for half of the isotope to disappear. (3) Radioactive products which are
used in medicine are called radiopharmaceuticals. They are different from other
medically used drugs since they

Risk and Reward People admire talent. They always have and probably always
will, but what s even more valuable than talent is grit. The ability to endure
whatever life may throw at you and still keep your head held high is worth far
more than something simply given to you. This mindset of endurance, of heart is
reflected in the movie, The Million Dollar Baby, as a girl not only learns to stand,

character Maggie Fitzgerald, It s the magic of risking everything for a dream that

This quote is so valuable and poignant to me because it tells a story, not through

Sheltered amongst the trees along the Monongahela River, just 15 miles south of
Pittsburgh, early travelers located some of the most fertile soil and picturesque

area was not only perfect for boat and ship building, but it offered a hub for various
forms for incorporating businesses into the area, and it offered conditions perfect for
liveability during the heat of summer and the brutal winters that western
Pennsylvania is known for. Sometime during the mid to late 1700s, settlers from New

While many will argue that the big boat was built at a boatyard near the Liberty
Bridge in Pittsburgh, the mystery of where the big boat was built, according to the
founding fathers of Elizabeth, was built at the edge of the Monongahela River and
later the durable merchant vessel set sail from the shipyard based in Elizabeth.
One later accounts of the origins of the famous keelboat carrying Lewis Clark
came directly from a reliable source during an interview with Col. George A.
Bayard, son of Col. Stephen Bayard in early 1852. Col. Bayard stated that the early
involvement of boat building included the keelboat that was built by John Walker at
the boatyard at along the waterfront in Elizabeth Borough and was later used for the
Lewis and Clark expedition. Today, Elizabeth has many more mysteries that embody
the town with intrigue and is a definite place of interest for anyone who loves
history, paranormal activity, beauty, fine dining, dancing in the streets, and that

The Effects Of Television On Public Service Advertising

about the health topic. Instruction messages should tell the people what to do and
how to do it, and persuasion messages should give reasons to the public to adopt
this particular health behavior. 2. Literature Review: 2.1 Effects of Televised Public

WRT 205: Unit 2 Essay
Clery Act at Work Rape is the most common violent crime on American college
campuses today. (Sampson, 2003.) Statistics from the Rape, Abuse, and Incest
National Network show that every two minutes in the United States, someone is
raped, and the chances of being that victim are four times greater for a female
college student than for any other age group (Burnett, 2009). In September of 2013,
I was drugged and sexually assaulted at a fraternity house party. It is a year later and
neither the man responsible nor the fraternity has been punished. A confusing trip to
the campus health center the morning after changed my whole persona and sent me
into a downward spiral of depression. After reporting it to the university, that
depression turned into anger when I realized that the administration doesn t care
enough about the epidemic of rapes on campus as it needs to. They labeled my case
poor decision making due to intoxication and placed the blame solely on my
shoulders. Intoxication? I think its pronounced Rohypnol . My case is not the only
one that has been swept under the rug. Sexual assault in college environments are a
common occurrence and no student should ever have to feel like they are at risk of
being assaulted by one of their peers when they are out partying. Sexual assault
cases are very difficult to prove due to the whole he said, she said issue. Stephanie
Hallett expands the scope of the problem and
Reflection On The Canadian Cancer Society s Relay For Life
I started volunteering for The Canadian Cancer Society s Relay For Life at my
elementary school in 2009. I have had the opportunity to help MC the Langley
Relay event as well as speak about my journey with the Canadian Cancer Society
and my family s struggles with cancer. I joined a team and continued to volunteer at
the event as a participant until I was approached by the Canadian CancerSociety s
Community Giving Coordinator in 2012 to start a Youth Committee for young
adults in the Langley School District. I was named chair in 2013, and have been in
charge of running the meetings, arranging presentations and contacting other
potential members; our goal for Langley is to have the largest youth component in
all of Western Canada. In 2014, I was the Captain of one of Brookswood
Secondary s five teams. For the past 2 years, I have been on Walnut Grove
Secondary s team and we have fundraised by selling tulips during lunch and after
school and selling Krispy Creme Doughnuts. In total, over my seven years of
participation alone, I have raised over $15,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. As a
committee, we travel around Langley... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This has encouraged me to take leadership roles within my school, because Relay
has taught me that even small acts can make a significant difference. I am a
member of an anonymous Random Acts of Kindness Club at my school, which
reinforces the idea of small acts brightening people s day, and helping form a strong
community among my peers and adults in school. I was also elected Grad Council
President this year, and my role as chair on the Youth Committee prepared me for
this position. I am able to take skills I have learned about managing meetings, being
comfortable and confident in front of over 400 graduates, and appreciating and
understanding how much a solid team of members can really bring a community
Annotated Bibliography On Global Mobility Of Latin
America...
A Guide to Global Mobility in Latin America and the United States
Introduction
For multinational organizations the global movement of employees is essential, but
companies today are faced with a maze of legal issues to consider. The following
article provides a regional overview of current trends, key government agencies, and
visas for business travel, training and employment assignments for the United States
and certain countries in Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia,
Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela.
Immigration laws differ from country to country. Although the specific names for the
visas and the requirements differ, there are common patterns and trends especially for
countries balancing the interest of engaging in global commerce against protecting
local labor markets and national security.
Treaties and bi lateral agreements often give special privileges to citizens from
specific countries (e.g., benefits for citizens of Canada, Mexico and the United States
under the North American Free Trade Agreement). Be careful not to overlook these
sometimes hidden gems when considering alternative visa strategies.
Current Trends
It invariably takes longer than expected to secure all of the authorizations required
before an employee can travel abroad for business.
The best laid plans go often awry. Sometimes short term business travel may seem
like the only way to meet an immediate need. But the visas that are quickly available
for such trips generally
Examples Of Verbal Irony In The Pardoner s Tale
During the Middle Ages, The Canterbury Tales was the first major English literary
work of Geoffrey Chaucer. One of Chaucer s classic tales, The Pardoner s Tale,
establishes a concrete image of the Pardoner s greed. Chaucer uses The Pardoner s
Tale to expose that greed is the root of all evil through verbal, situational and dramatic
irony.
Chaucer uses verbal irony to prove that greed is the root of all evil. Verbal irony is
when a person says the opposite of what he or she means. An extraordinary example
of verbal irony is when the three rioters claim that they are going to slay Death: And
we will kill this traitor Death, I say! (91). The three rioters demonstrate verbal irony
due to the fact that they cannot kill Death. Geoffrey Chaucer exposes that greed is the
root of all evil through verbal irony in The Pardoner s Tale. ... Show more content on

There are two examples of situational irony in the tale. A first example that Chaucer
uses is when the three rioters head to the tree to find Death. However, when they
arrive under the tree; the three rioters find gold rather than Death: At once the three
young rioters began/ To run, and reached the tree, and there they found/ A pile of
golden florins on the ground (162 64). Situational irony is used by Chaucer making
his reader think that Death will be found by the rioters under the tree; instead the
three rioters find gold. Second, the Pardoner is another example of situational irony.
Rather than forgiving the people of the village from their sins, the Pardoner charges
money to forgive the sinner. Situational irony is demonstrating that greed is root of
all evil in The Pardoner s
Registered Nurse Career
My Profession after High school, will be a Nurse. I will like to attend between two
colleges, Lawson State Community College or Jefferson State Community College.
They both are great colleges and will give me a great experience in the medical field.
A Registered Nurse (RN) is caring and saves plenty of lives. A registered nurseworks
in offices but mostly hospitals. They provide most hours working with sick patients.
A successfully registered nurse prepares for procedures, has a license, and cares for
patients. Registered Nurses have many duties and responsibilities.A registered nurse
will observe and record the patient s behavior. They run a test and give prescribe

Fedex And Ups . Fedex Also Known As Federal Express Is
Fedex and UPS
Fedex also known as Federal Express is an organization that offers transportation,
web based business and business administrations with the assistance of a few
organizations that are working together under one brand. The organization has four
business portions, for example, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, and
FedEx Services (FedEx Corporation, 2012). Mean while United Postal Services
(UPS) is the world s greatest package movement association and pioneer in giving
overall stock system organization game plans. It is a pioneer in collaborations and
makes a motivating force for customer through organizations, cut down costs and
significantly movable stock system control and detectable quality (United Parcel
Service, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In an UPS, economic value is computed with the assistance of money related
information. In 2014, the net working benefit after assessment is $3032 millions
and suppositions are made for evaluating expense of capital (United Postal Service,
Inc., 2014). Also with Fedex the working salary after expenses were deducted in
2012 is $2032 million (FedEx Corporation, 2012).
Financial and Non Financial Variables
To review and break down the estimation of the organization, budgetary and non
monetary factors are very important. In budgetary factors proportions, wage
articulation, benefit and misfortune records and accounting report are broke down
while non monetary factors are changes in corporate law and pay assess, innovative
changes, corporate administration and market estimation of the organization that
impact the estimation of the organization viably (Drake and Fabozzi, 2012).
The wage proclamation and monetary record demonstrates the solid budgetary
position of UPS. The incomes and working benefits have expanded from a year ago.
The equation to be followed would be: Current ratio = current assets / current
liabilities
While current proportion for the organization is 1.36 that demonstrates the
advantages are more prominent than liabilities and it has great liquidity position. The
non money related factors are imperative for valuation of FedEx and UPS. Both
organizations have great monetary and liquidity position
The Liberal Election Victory of 1906 Essay
The Liberal Election Victory of 1906 The Liberals won a landslide election victory
in 1906. It is claimed that the loss of power for the Conservatives was largely due
to a decline in fortunes as the party split due to issues over tariff reforms. On the
other hand it is assumed that the loss was due to the complacency and the neglect
of Workingmen s Interests. Arthur James Balfour had become the Conservative
leader in the House of Commons and served (1891 92, 1895 1903) as the first Lord
of the treasury. He had succeeded his uncle as Prime minister in 1902. A huge task
lay ahead of Balfour, as poverty was to be a focal point at the beginning of the 20th
century. Although it is reputed that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The South African wars (1899 1902) resulted in a review made into the armed
forced due to its poor showing. Many men (of poor background) lost their lives,
which in turn voiced concerns throughout the country. This obviously reflected
poorly on the government and produced a psychological shock also as
Chamberlain lost to the radical cause by his espousal of Imperialism, which
proved to be a double disaster for the Tories as it tied in with the Boer War. This
allowed room for the Liberals to capitalise on this advantage and to begin snatching
the working class vote from the Conservatives and people like Lloyd George
enabled them to do so. He was a great orator and along with Churchill they
relentlessly tortured the Tory s throughout the campaign, attacking them as enemies
of the people. They carried this out effectively as they produced campaigns, slogans
and songs, which were widely accepted. The prevailing atmosphere of the Boer war
made sure that Conservative credibility was undermined when the Chinese slavery
affair was publicised. The public seemed to be impressed by this issue. Political
insensitivity of Balfour s government was indicated as
White Collar Crime
Welcome to the age of white collar crime. A time when the words thieves and
businessmen go hand in hand. White collar criminals don t get their hands dirty in
their work. They use their heads to get what they want instead of using a little
muscle. These criminals are just as dangerous as the rapists and murderers. In these
times, even the most seemingly respectable people are suspected of white collar
crimes. President Clinton and the first lady Hillary Clinton have been tangled up in
the Whitewater and Travelgate business ventures. Although the two have not been
formally charged with any wrongdoing, there is a committee currently investigating
their dealings and charges are not out of the question for either of them. In Michael
Isikoff s... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These people have more opportunities to commit a white collar crime than a person
with little authority. Peter Michelmore, a journalist for Readers Digest describes
this situation well in his article, On the Trail of a Scam He describes a savings and
loan scam and the man behind it all. Meyer learned that New Era was run by John
G. Bennet, Jr., a 57 year old evangelical Christian. (112) New Era was a getting
money from a private university, in which he promised huge returns on their
investment. New Era did show them huge profits, but only to gain their trust and
invest more money. The private university was gaining trust in New Era and
investing more money. Finally, when They had invested a large sum of money,
New Era collapsed and John Bennet walked away with the university s money. Mr.
Bennet is a prime example of our findings. He is a man over the age of eighteen
and he is in a position of power. People have entrusted him with their money. To
commit his crime, he needed to be in a position where he was trusted, or in authority.
After he won their trust, he took their money. White collar crimes are growing at an
alarming rate and must be curbed. There are many things that the nation can do to
slow the growth of these crimes. The white collar crime that affects the most people
is the scam. For that reason, scam prevention will be emphasized more than
embezzlement. I feel that the most effective weapon against these crimes is to
The Evolutionary Process Of Pollination Of Flowers
Tropical rainforests are a curious world filled with wonder. Tropical Nature: Life
and Death in the Rain Forests of Central and South America has opened my eyes to
another world that I had not paid much attention to. Adrian Forsyth and Ken Miyata
introduced a new world of wonder filled with so much diversity. Ecology and
evolution go hand and hand, and the rainforesta beautiful ecosystem driven by the
climate [biome] is a phenomenal example as hot spot for evolution. From the
humidity, the high temperatures, the canopy of the trees, and so much more.
Diversity thrives in this environment, and it s obvious from the variety of species that
have been found inhabiting such areas. Organisms depend on their communities, they
depend on the interspecific relationships they develop; from predation (herbivory,
carnivores, etc.), mutualism, parasitism, and commensalism. Without each other,
they could not survive, and in some cases they even evolve with one another. The
evolutionary process of pollination of flowers provides some examples of this.
Tropical plants are dioecious, which translates to having separate male and female
plants. Tropical plants cannot rely on the traditional wind pollination method due to
the lack of wind and lack of targets nearby; therefore, they cannot pollinate themselves
or plants of the same sex. Instead, they often look towards the mobile organisms that
surround them. To do this, they ve evolved ways to attract them; either provide them
with a

  • 1. Write Me An Essay Online Crafting an essay on the subject of "Write Me An Essay Online" presents a unique set of challenges that go beyond the typical essay-writing process. The difficulty arises from the inherent paradox: the act of composing an essay requesting someone else to write an essay online. This paradoxical nature necessitates a delicate balance between sincerity and irony, as one navigates the intricacies of expressing a genuine need for assistance while maintaining a reflective awareness of the task's absurdity. The first challenge lies in establishing a clear and coherent narrative that captures the essence of seeking help online. Articulating the reasons for such a request demands introspection and self- awareness, as the writer grapples with the admission of their limitations or constraints. Balancing vulnerability and authenticity becomes paramount in creating a compelling and relatable piece. Moreover, addressing the mechanics of online essay writing services requires a nuanced approach. The writer must navigate the ethical considerations surrounding outsourcing academic tasks, addressing potential concerns about plagiarism, and acknowledging the responsibility that comes with seeking external assistance. This entails a careful examination of the implications, both ethical and academic, of turning to online platforms for essay writing support. The essay must also delve into the broader landscape of online writing services, exploring the various options available, their reliability, and the potential pitfalls. The writer is tasked with conducting thorough research to provide an informed perspective on the subject, offering insights that extend beyond personal experience and encompass the broader implications of this growing industry. Additionally, striking the right tone is crucial in this essay. Balancing a serious inquiry into the need for assistance with a subtle touch of humor or irony can be challenging. The writer must maintain a tone that engages the reader without trivializing the importance of the topic. Achieving this delicate equilibrium requires a keen understanding of the audience's expectations and a mastery of rhetorical devices. In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of "Write Me An Essay Online" is a task that demands a multifaceted approach. Navigating the paradoxical nature of the subject, addressing ethical considerations, conducting thorough research, and striking the right tone all contribute to the complexity of the writing process. However, it is through skillful navigation of these challenges that a well-crafted essay can emerge, shedding light on the nuanced aspects of seeking assistance in the digital age. • 2. Rhetorical Analysis Of The Mercedes Ad Of The Red Sl... What is it about an advertisement that makes people want to purchase that item? Could it be the idea of showing it off, personal attraction, or utilizing it in everyday life? The advertisement I chose to analyze does absolutely stunning in doing all three and more. The Mercedes ad of the red SL class car gives off a romantic look due to the color of the car and the caption on the left; and a rough and powerful look at the same time from the rigid mountainous background. The images looks extremely realistic, like every detail of it was picked up by a high tech camera. The main focus of the image is the front of the car closest to the foreground, with it going out towards the other parts making it one elegant picture. Ethos, Pathos, and logos play a major role in this ad to appeal to the audiences senses and attract the viewers the ad is aimed towards. This ad does marvelous in using rhetorical techniques to appeal to the viewer and persuade them to purchase this car. My ad has a mountainous background with a tint of blue in it, giving the impression of it taking place in the morning and the feeling of the cool breeze right before the sun rises. The sun can be seen beginning to rise on the right side slightly above the car; with the full capacity of the suns light being obscured by the mountain in front of it. A body of water can be seen cutting through the mountains almost behind the front of the car, adding to the images beauty. There is a Mercedes symbol on the top right

Basically, this means that there was no catastrophic cause for the crash, such as a wing falling off, but rather the crew flew into the terrain unaware of where they were located. In fact, had we been so unfortunate as to crash into the side of the mountain that day in question, it would have been, in fact, a CFIT. One particular case of CFIT was caused by the crew not trusting their instruments. It took place in the United States, where an experienced crew of two pilots conducted a night flight from the West Coast. They took off into a very dark night, as there was very little ambient light from the moon or external lights. And a physiological effect of flying made the situation more risky. Now, from a physiological perspective, each of us as human beings has what scientists call proprioceptors, which are located all over our body and assist us in feeling, touching, and maintaining balance. We also have fluid in sections of the inner ear that assist us in balance. The function of these two areas the inner ear and the proprioceptors are normally affected when drinking alcohol and can be blamed for the spinning sensation one gets when drunk. From a flight perspective, there is a commonly known effect called inversion illusion, whereby during night flying the proprioceptors in your lower back and backside feed the incorrect information to the inner ear. This misalignment causes pilots to feel as if they are pulling

Trying to move, as the pain began jolting through my body. A surprised voice, grabbing my attention as I became conscious. He was telling me to stay still, as the sound of the saw ate away at my door. I realized then that I was in a terrible car accident and somehow, I survived. This was the moment that changed my life, the moment that Jesus took the wheel. Hours prior to that, I sat alone; sadden, angry and dumbfounded. How could a man I ve loved for 17 years, love someone else? Thoughts flooded my mind, as I tried drowning my pain with every bottle that hit my lips. Tears flowing down my face, as I slowly began to slip away. Wanting to forget every lie and hoping to erase all the years I sat blinded. The feeling of every breath escaping me, as the couch felt like the only comfort I had. Then the day came that I stood before the judge, as he sentenced me to 60 days in the county jail. I had just kissed my kid s goodbye outside, as I didn t want them to see me handcuffed and taken away. Watching their eyes fill up with confusion and sadness, broke every part of my heart that remained. Explaining to them that I did something bad and needed to be punished, was something I felt ashamed of. Especially that I would be absent from their lives, was by far my greatest struggle. I just knew that I had to rise from this and come back stronger than the person I was

  • 8. Essay on A Psychological Analysis of Alice Walker s... A Psychological Analysis of Alice Walker s Everyday Use The human mind is divided into three parts that make up the mind as a whole. These parts are necessary to have a complete mind, just as the members of a family are needed to make up the entire family. The use of components to equal a whole is often exercised in literature. Alice Walker s short story, Everyday Use, contains the idea of family and of the mind, therefore her work can be evaluated through psychological methods. Through their actions, the characters symbolize the three different parts of the mind: the id, the ego, and the superego. The first type of mind division, the id, constantly strives to satisfy basic drives...[and] seeks immediate gratification ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Maggie s personality is closely connected to the ego section because of her powerful desire to do right and to solve her problems realistically. Mama explains that after dinner Dee went to the trunk at the foot of [the] bed...Maggie hung back in the kitchen over the dishpan (Walker 95). As Dee tries to usurp the quilts from her mother, Maggie tries to help her mother by doing the dishes. Maggie tries to act morally while Dee tries to take advantage of her mother. While discussing the rightful owner of the quilts, Maggie said, She can have them, Mama ...like somebody used to never winning anything, or having anything reserved for her (Walker 97). Instead of fighting over the quilts, Maggie willingly gives them to her sister. Even though Maggie wishes to have them, she does not want to produce conflict in her family. Maggie is accustomed to getting less than her sister and has an unselfish personality. Her actions are parallel to an ego because the ego defines moral actions. Finally, Myers states that the superego strives for perfection and judges our actions, producing positive feelings of pride or negative feelings of guilt (380). The superego acts as the mind s conscience. In the story, the narrator, Mama, clearly represents the superego portion of the mind structure because of her guilty conscience and her wishes to be perfect, both mentally and physically.

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Simeon and Levi grew through both their experiences of violence and faith. Eventually they repented their sins they brought upon Joseph, their brother. The most significant aspect of their personalities is their zeal for cruelty and violence. In the Testament of the Patriarchs, it is understood that God came to both the Simeonites and Levites discussing their enthusiasm for violence. Eventually, even though warned by Simeon, the Simeonites could not overcome their obsession of cruelty and violence. Therefore, the Simeonites numbers eventually decreased and they were finally absorbed into the Judahites. The Levites, on the other hand, overcame their zeal for cruelty and violence by focusing their fixation towards God thereby becoming a holy priesthood. Through passages in the bible and the Testament of the Patriarchs, Simeon and Levi were characterized as cruel, rash and violent leaders who were considered righteous in their vengeance of Shechem. But they made many dishonest and immoral decisions such as enslaving Joseph. Even though they made these dishonest decisions, the Levites were able to sustain and thrive as a holy priesthoodНѕ whereas the Simeonites were unable to change their ways, this eventually led to their obsolescence. Since the bacteria grows fastidious and is oxidase positive, it is preferred to grow it on a blood agar plate or a chocolate agar plate at temperatures ranging from 35 37 degrees Celsius. It can be identified using the Kovac s oxidase test and if a positive result is found it should be followed with a carbohydrate utilization test. If this too shows N.meningitidis then a serological test should be performed to determine which strain is present. The strains of A, B, C, Y and W135 are the only known associated with humans and disease. Strain B is a weaker form and does not generate an adequate immune response therefore natural infection is capable of generating some immunity. It is also important in the lab testing of N. meningitidis to remember that the bacteria is capable of fermenting maltose in cultures which would set it apart from N. gonorrhoeae. It is imperative to utilize the Biosafety Level 2 to prevent contamination in lab workers. Most strains and diseases caused by N. meningitidis are treated with the administration of intravenous penicillin in a natural form. Ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin or rifampin as well as Chloramphenicol in children are used in treatment. It is also advised that anyone who may be exposed to the disease be treated with prophylactic treatment in order to prevent secondary infections. The treatment
  • 11. Air Pollution Is A Serious Problem Air pollution is a very serious problem throughout the world. Exposure to air pollution is easy and it can affect your health. Air pollution is the introduction of particulates, biological molecules, or other harmful materials into Earth s atmosphere, causing diseases, death to humans, and damage to other living organisms such as animals and food crops, or the natural or built environment (Air Pollution, 2016, June 27). This definition proves that exposure to air pollution can harm the main things that we need to survive on earth. Depending on the environment an individual live in the quality of air can be good or bad. People living in the urban area have a higher chance of being exposed to air pollution than those living in the rural. I think if air pollution keep effecting the things we need on earth than we would no longer have any resources. In order to keep the resources we need we should decrease the exposure of air pollution in our environments and make the quality of it better. Use of hybrid cars might improve the quality of the air. For this reason, tax credits ought to be given to drivers of hybrid vehicles. Air pollution from motor vehicles is also a serious matter on our resources because of the exhaust fumes. Due to this issue, when individuals are exposed to gas that come from their cars, it can affect their health. In order to reduce these negative effects individuals should keep their cars clean. Being exposed to particulate matter also can cause asthma

The Simpsons are also so well loved because they have no specific target audience; they have such a wide variety of humour, from slapstick to academic references, which is sure to have all age groups, male or female, in stitches. Family values are basically social norms for describing a family and the proper roles of its members. Most often, the term connotes a conservative ideology that supports sexual morality and traditional gender roles, and that opposes homosexual relationships, same sex marriage, and abortion. The term may also refer to endorsing censorship of phenomena in the media (such as many forms of nudity, profanity, sexuality, and violence) which children might view en.Wikipedia.org. Many people feel The Simpsons promote family values because basically every bizarre event that has happened in every episode has been as a result of 1or more member/s of the family trying to please the rest of the family. This is evident in Blue collar slob in which homer becomes an astronaut. He does this because he feels he has lost the respect of his family and friends, and assumes that astronauts receive great respect. Although this episode can be interpreted as simple comedy, putting a blue collar slob in outer space, there are also underlying messages that highlight the love that keeps the Simpson family together. It connotes that respect must be in a family

In one thing they are similar and that is how they have an extracellular digestion. When an animal has an extracellular digestion means that the breakdown of food in compartments that are continuous with the outside of the animal s body (Reese 899). • 20. The Heart Reserves A Special Place For Music The heart reserves a special place for music. To many, music is more than a melody or a combination of sounds pulsating in ears; it brings out emotions, memories, and shared vibes. Whether a person is an avid listener or casually listens to music, everyone has a few specific albums that laid a foundation for the music they currently enjoy. Recently, I have rediscovered one of these albums, Madvillainy, when putting my old playlist on shuffle. The album consists of Daniel Dumile, the album s MC (rapper) who goes by many aliases, but most commonly as MF Doom, and Otis Jackson Jr., or Madlib. The underground hip hop album was released in 2004 and is now considered a classic by many. The album s 22 tracks consist of skits, instrumentals, and rapping with most tracks around two minutes long. Madvillainy has proven to me to be a masterpiece and a consistently good listen. One of the qualities that set Madvillainy apart from its peers, is the superb production performance given by Madlib. The album s production is magnificent, even to Pitchfork standards, saying, the samples are smart and never played out, and the production and rhymes reveal a determined sense of cooperation, as Doom spouts off his most brilliant lyrical change ups and production conscious playoffs (Pemberton). Like stated in Pitchfork, the production works cohesively with MF Doom s rapping. For example, on the song Meat Grinder , the beat alone seems quirky, sounding like it belongs in an episode of Spongebob,

They are also keeping the child s sex a secret, although it is not clear if they are trying to allow the child to define its sex. Gender and sex are two different distinctions that are often mistakenly seen as the same thing. Society places genderexpectations based on sex, so it s easy to see why they are looked at as the same thing. It s important to remember that gender represents a choice, while sex is determined before you are born. The option of choosing is important when considering the ethics of raising a child. It s why I believe that it is ethical to allow a child to define their gender and unethical to allow a child to define their sex. There are three common arguments against allowing a child to define their gender. The first common argument is that the child will bullied and may not be mature enough to handle it. Unfortunately, children can be bullied for a number of reasons regardless of their gender. Parents do not allow bullying to affect other decisions and they should not allow bullying to interfere with who their child wants to be either. It is he one doing the bullying that has a problem, not their child. The second common argument against allowing a child to define their gender is that friends and family will disapprove. However, there is always someone who will disapprove of any decision you make. Voting, eating meat, sexual

While at the beginning of the epic Gilgamesh is seeking eternal life, when he concludes his journey he realizes that he has created an enduring legend through the foundation of his city, Uruk. Through this legend, Gilgamesh can live on in the memory of his people, long after he has passed away. The epic is able to convey this message multiple ways. The opening lines immediately introduce and impress upon the audience the importance of Gilgamesh, and the significance of his kingship. The epic continues on to describe the city of Uruk, with special consideration given to the walls surrounding Uruk. 3. Causes Of Environmental Pollution People throw away whatever they don t need any more for more than hundreds and thousands of years, this reaches from the old medieval period where people throw their trash and feces on the street to the modern time where people throw plastic in the oceans or pollute the air with toxic gasses and carbon dioxide. In this paper, I will focuses on the challenges around the pollutionof the air with carbon dioxide. The nature of this problem is the nature of the primary human behavior itself. Humans in their basic behaviors only focuses on their own problems and tries to fulfill his own demands and only uses other humans to help him in this process, often in a quid pro quo relationship. This instincts lead to the behavior that humans follow the quote Out of sight, out of mind and get rid of their unwanted stuff without caring about the effects on other people or the environment. Even if the pollution of the air get effects the person itself, the utilization of the drive with the car is higher than the negative impacts that his pollution has on himself. As long as there are practices that can fulfill some people s demands, are cheap and results in a pollution of the environment, there will be ongoing pollution. The challenge to start actions against our primary instincts and convince people to do the same is quite hard. In developed countries it is hard and almost impossible to convince people to spend more money to reduce the pollution for everybody. Like it can be seen in a lot of this countries, the only way is to create alternatives that are even cheaper or bring other benefits that eliminate the negative effect of spending money. So it can be seen that most of the people switched to energy saving light bulbs or led light bulbs after they knew that they will save money in a longer term. In undeveloped countries it is a lot harder to convince people to stop polluting and switch to renewable energy, because they got even less money and can t afford green investments that would pay off in a long term perspective. The only way to get people in undeveloped countries to stop polluting is to offer finance support that make it possible for them to pay for the long term investments or to decrease to amount the cost

Smith English 150 8 October 2016 The importance of landscape throughout Hard Times by Charles Dickens is seen in various locations that help to thread the novel together. When new scenes are presented to the reader, we are often given explicit details of the characters surrounding and current environment to draw us into that particular moment. The city is mainly described in a more negative light, with words such as ugly and monotonous. In contrast, the countryside (away from the hustle of the working town) is portrayed in such a way that it feels like a pure or sacred space, free of the blemishes of the working town. Dickens creates an underlying importance with how he describes the city versus how he describes the countryside, being that the latter becomes the place of death for one of the main characters Stephen Blackpool. The city of Coketown is a town introduced as an uncompromising, brutal, and fearful place defined by its work and industrialization. The description that we are given of Coketown makes it clear that it is not a place of enjoyment, pleasure, or nature. It is heavily characterized by its repetitive and endless labor. Coketown is therefore essential as a setting displaying the negative aspects of industrialization. However, there is additional significance in the negative portrayal of Coketown. The idea of monotony in the industrial city is one that is returned to several times throughout the novel. Dickens writes

Isotopes are used in various areas like industries, agriculture, medical field and research centers. They are decayed by emission of energy in the form of alpha, beta (electron) beta plus (positron) and gamma rays. (1) Types of radiation Alpha particles cannot be used for measurement from outside the body because they are such low penetrating power. A sheet of paper stops alpha particles. Beta particles have a modest penetrating power, thus they produce useful results in the area of their release, and they can be distinguished by sensitive counting tools. Block of wood stops beta particles. Gamma rays are highly energetic, and they can be readily discovered by radiation counters used outside the body. A thick concrete wall stops gamma rays. • 43. The Effects Of Television On Public Service Advertising Essay 1. Introduction Public service advertisements are a type of advertisements that usually communicate a certain idea not a mainly a product, they are used by Mass media to raise awareness and educate publics about an issue in order to shift attitudes and motivate behavior change. PSAs mainly communicate about health topics or social issues including alcohol and drug awareness, environmental protection, obesity prevention and gun control. A PSA is generally sponsored by a not for profit organization, trade association or political group. It is usually featured on television, radio or print. The Public Service Advertisement should contain three types of messages to motivate behavior change: Awareness, instruction, and persuasion. To create awareness, the messages of the campaign must inform publics about the health topic. Instruction messages should tell the people what to do and how to do it, and persuasion messages should give reasons to the public to adopt this particular health behavior. 2. Literature Review: 2.1 Effects of Televised Public Service Ad The effects of television are of particular interest because of this medium s ability to reach a variety of populations, including adolescents. Television is by far the most widely used means of disseminating prevention messages, usually in the form of PSAs(Phillip Palmgreen, Lewis Donohew N.D)1. Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign Studies generally suffer from mistakes in campaign execution, including violating two of the main
  • 44. A Brief Note On The Common Violent Crime On American... Victoria Harding October 12, 2014 WRT 205: Unit 2 Essay Clery Act at Work Rape is the most common violent crime on American college campuses today. (Sampson, 2003.) Statistics from the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network show that every two minutes in the United States, someone is raped, and the chances of being that victim are four times greater for a female college student than for any other age group (Burnett, 2009). In September of 2013, I was drugged and sexually assaulted at a fraternity house party. It is a year later and neither the man responsible nor the fraternity has been punished. A confusing trip to the campus health center the morning after changed my whole persona and sent me into a downward spiral of depression. After reporting it to the university, that depression turned into anger when I realized that the administration doesn t care enough about the epidemic of rapes on campus as it needs to. They labeled my case poor decision making due to intoxication and placed the blame solely on my shoulders. Intoxication? I think its pronounced Rohypnol . My case is not the only one that has been swept under the rug. Sexual assault in college environments are a common occurrence and no student should ever have to feel like they are at risk of being assaulted by one of their peers when they are out partying. Sexual assault cases are very difficult to prove due to the whole he said, she said issue. Stephanie Hallett expands the scope of the problem and
  • 45. Reflection On The Canadian Cancer Society s Relay For Life I started volunteering for The Canadian Cancer Society s Relay For Life at my elementary school in 2009. I have had the opportunity to help MC the Langley Relay event as well as speak about my journey with the Canadian Cancer Society and my family s struggles with cancer. I joined a team and continued to volunteer at the event as a participant until I was approached by the Canadian CancerSociety s Community Giving Coordinator in 2012 to start a Youth Committee for young adults in the Langley School District. I was named chair in 2013, and have been in charge of running the meetings, arranging presentations and contacting other potential members; our goal for Langley is to have the largest youth component in all of Western Canada. In 2014, I was the Captain of one of Brookswood Secondary s five teams. For the past 2 years, I have been on Walnut Grove Secondary s team and we have fundraised by selling tulips during lunch and after school and selling Krispy Creme Doughnuts. This has encouraged me to take leadership roles within my school, because Relay has taught me that even small acts can make a significant difference. I am a member of an anonymous Random Acts of Kindness Club at my school, which reinforces the idea of small acts brightening people s day, and helping form a strong community among my peers and adults in school. I was also elected Grad Council President this year, and my role as chair on the Youth Committee prepared me for this position. I am able to take skills I have learned about managing meetings, being comfortable and confident in front of over 400 graduates, and appreciating and understanding how much a solid team of members can really bring a community
  • 46. Annotated Bibliography On Global Mobility Of Latin America... A Guide to Global Mobility in Latin America and the United States Introduction For multinational organizations the global movement of employees is essential, but companies today are faced with a maze of legal issues to consider. The following article provides a regional overview of current trends, key government agencies, and visas for business travel, training and employment assignments for the United States and certain countries in Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. Immigration laws differ from country to country. Although the specific names for the visas and the requirements differ, there are common patterns and trends especially for countries balancing the interest of engaging in global commerce against protecting local labor markets and national security. Treaties and bi lateral agreements often give special privileges to citizens from specific countries (e.g., benefits for citizens of Canada, Mexico and the United States under the North American Free Trade Agreement). Be careful not to overlook these sometimes hidden gems when considering alternative visa strategies. Current Trends It invariably takes longer than expected to secure all of the authorizations required before an employee can travel abroad for business. The best laid plans go often awry. Sometimes short term business travel may seem like the only way to meet an immediate need. But the visas that are quickly available for such trips generally
  • 47. Examples Of Verbal Irony In The Pardoner s Tale During the Middle Ages, The Canterbury Tales was the first major English literary work of Geoffrey Chaucer. One of Chaucer s classic tales, The Pardoner s Tale, establishes a concrete image of the Pardoner s greed. Chaucer uses The Pardoner s Tale to expose that greed is the root of all evil through verbal, situational and dramatic irony. Chaucer uses verbal irony to prove that greed is the root of all evil. Verbal irony is when a person says the opposite of what he or she means. An extraordinary example of verbal irony is when the three rioters claim that they are going to slay Death: And we will kill this traitor Death, I say! (91). The three rioters demonstrate verbal irony due to the fact that they cannot kill Death. Geoffrey Chaucer exposes that greed is the root of all evil through verbal irony in The Pardoner s Tale. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There are two examples of situational irony in the tale. A first example that Chaucer uses is when the three rioters head to the tree to find Death. However, when they arrive under the tree; the three rioters find gold rather than Death: At once the three young rioters began/ To run, and reached the tree, and there they found/ A pile of golden florins on the ground (162 64). Situational irony is used by Chaucer making his reader think that Death will be found by the rioters under the tree; instead the three rioters find gold. Second, the Pardoner is another example of situational irony. Rather than forgiving the people of the village from their sins, the Pardoner charges money to forgive the sinner. Situational irony is demonstrating that greed is root of all evil in The Pardoner s

  • 50. The Liberal Election Victory of 1906 Essay The Liberal Election Victory of 1906 The Liberals won a landslide election victory in 1906. It is claimed that the loss of power for the Conservatives was largely due to a decline in fortunes as the party split due to issues over tariff reforms. On the other hand it is assumed that the loss was due to the complacency and the neglect of Workingmen s Interests. Arthur James Balfour had become the Conservative leader in the House of Commons and served (1891 92, 1895 1903) as the first Lord of the treasury. He had succeeded his uncle as Prime minister in 1902. A huge task lay ahead of Balfour, as poverty was to be a focal point at the beginning of the 20th century. Although it is reputed that... Many men (of poor background) lost their lives, which in turn voiced concerns throughout the country. This obviously reflected poorly on the government and produced a psychological shock also as Chamberlain lost to the radical cause by his espousal of Imperialism, which proved to be a double disaster for the Tories as it tied in with the Boer War. This allowed room for the Liberals to capitalise on this advantage and to begin snatching the working class vote from the Conservatives and people like Lloyd George enabled them to do so. He was a great orator and along with Churchill they relentlessly tortured the Tory s throughout the campaign, attacking them as enemies of the people. They carried this out effectively as they produced campaigns, slogans and songs, which were widely accepted. The prevailing atmosphere of the Boer war made sure that Conservative credibility was undermined when the Chinese slavery affair was publicised. The public seemed to be impressed by this issue. Political insensitivity of Balfour s government was indicated as
  • 51. White Collar Crime Welcome to the age of white collar crime. A time when the words thieves and businessmen go hand in hand. White collar criminals don t get their hands dirty in their work. They use their heads to get what they want instead of using a little muscle. These criminals are just as dangerous as the rapists and murderers. In these times, even the most seemingly respectable people are suspected of white collar crimes. President Clinton and the first lady Hillary Clinton have been tangled up in the Whitewater and Travelgate business ventures. Peter Michelmore, a journalist for Readers Digest describes this situation well in his article, On the Trail of a Scam He describes a savings and loan scam and the man behind it all. (112) New Era was a getting money from a private university, in which he promised huge returns on their investment. New Era did show them huge profits, but only to gain their trust and invest more money. The private university was gaining trust in New Era and investing more money. Finally, when They had invested a large sum of money, New Era collapsed and John Bennet walked away with the university s money. Mr. Bennet is a prime example of our findings. He is a man over the age of eighteen and he is in a position of power. People have entrusted him with their money. To commit his crime, he needed to be in a position where he was trusted, or in authority. After he won their trust, he took their money. White collar crimes are growing at an alarming rate and must be curbed. There are many things that the nation can do to slow the growth of these crimes. The white collar crime that affects the most people is the scam. For that reason, scam prevention will be emphasized more than embezzlement. I feel that the most effective weapon against these crimes is to
  • 52. The Evolutionary Process Of Pollination Of Flowers Tropical rainforests are a curious world filled with wonder. Tropical Nature: Life and Death in the Rain Forests of Central and South America has opened my eyes to another world that I had not paid much attention to. Adrian Forsyth and Ken Miyata introduced a new world of wonder filled with so much diversity. Ecology and evolution go hand and hand, and the rainforesta beautiful ecosystem driven by the climate [biome] is a phenomenal example as hot spot for evolution. From the humidity, the high temperatures, the canopy of the trees, and so much more. Diversity thrives in this environment, and it s obvious from the variety of species that have been found inhabiting such areas. Organisms depend on their communities, they depend on the interspecific relationships they develop; from predation (herbivory, carnivores, etc.), mutualism, parasitism, and commensalism. Without each other, they could not survive, and in some cases they even evolve with one another. The evolutionary process of pollination of flowers provides some examples of this. Tropical plants are dioecious, which translates to having separate male and female plants. Tropical plants cannot rely on the traditional wind pollination method due to the lack of wind and lack of targets nearby; therefore, they cannot pollinate themselves or plants of the same sex. Instead, they often look towards the mobile organisms that surround them. To do this, they ve evolved ways to attract them; either provide them with a
