Edict Of Milan Analysis
The Edict of Milan was written c. 313, in Nicomedia; the terms of this document were and agreed
upon by Constantine and Licinius a few months prior in Milan, ergo it s title. The official declaration
contains the legal details pertaining to religious expression in the Roman Empire with a direct
emphasise upon Christianity. There is no original copy of this document, there are only direct copies
 most notably within Eusebius of Caesarea s, Ecclesiastical History . Eusebius, was a Christian and
wrote from a wholly biased perspective many years after the official documents release. The edict is
not the main aspect of the document, instead it is integrated to make a religious and ideological point .
The Edict is a significant piece of text in the context of the Modern, Western, Christian society.
However, was not listed within Law: The Theodosian Code which was issued in c. 438 under Emperor
Theodosius II . This text was to serve as an authority on historical legal cases in the Roman Empire.

While they mention other religions, every person may have free opportunity to worship according to
his own wish, the focus is explicitly ...in respect of the Christians:...swift to restore them to the
Christians without financial recompense. This statement evidences the overt implication that the
Roman establishment is favouring Christianity over any other form of worship. In conjunction with
this actuality, Constantine, in his reign, would ban the building of pagan temples and blood sacrifice,
(329BC) which lead to the persecution of pagans within the end of his reign as emperor . These
contextual events imply underlying Christian values within this text, as Constantine was a primary

Martin Luther Reformer As A Reformer
2. Martin Luther is without a doubt the most influential figure during the Reformation. He was born in
Eisleben Germany where his father, Hans, was a smelter master. Hans s occupation allowed Martin to
obtain an education, which very few were able to achieve during this time in history. In school Luther
was able to learn Latin while continuing his education. While in school, a teacher noticed his talents
and introduced Luther to Latin classics and history. This had a lasting impression on Luther and would
be the foundation to what would lead to his later works in life. Luther s father wanted his son to
become a lawyer to improve their family status, therefore later Luther attended the University of
Erfurt. While attending the University of Erfurt, Luther was presented with the idea of humanism,
which was recovering the ideas from ancient sources. This idea of humanism was the central point for
Luther s works during the Reformation. Luther s first true steps to becoming a reformer was following
an incident returning to Erfurt, when he had an epiphany and decide then and there to become a monk.
Within the monastery Luther attempted to be perfect to receive God s grace. After becoming a
professor in Wittenberg, he visited Rome and it was here where Luther had discovered the corruption
of the papacy. Luther discovered from his work in scripture that the Catholic Church was restricting
their followers of faith from understanding the true meaning of the scriptures. However, the

To What Extent Was The Civil War A Turning Point
The Turning Point

The Turning Point
The American Civil War was the bloodiest war that America had ever fought. From 1861 to 1865 the
Union (northern states) was fighting against the Confederates (southern states that succeeded from the
Union). The war resulted in the death of 620,000 plus Americans and left millions injured. During the
Civil War there were many important battles that took place over the years. Battle of Fort Sumter, The
First Battle of Bull Rum, The Seven Days Battle, The Battle of Antietam, The battle of Vicksburg, and
many more. However, the turning point of the war was the Battle of Gettysburg. The Battle of
Gettysburg is believed to be one of the most important engagements of the American Civil War.

Lee was the Confederate Army leader in Northern Virginia. General Lee had just come out of a huge
victory for the Confederates over the army of the Potomac in Chancellorsville on the Union side.
General Lee decided to invade the north for a second time. In May 1863, General Lee planned to
divert northern troops from Vicksburg where the Confederates were under siege and he hoped to gain
the recognition from Britain and France. President Lincoln was on the other end. He had lost all
confidence in his army. He thought that after the defeat at Chancellorsville that they were going to
lose the war. President Lincoln then named Major George Gordon Meade to succeed Hooker. Meade
knew where General Lee s army of 75,000 troops was heading and Meade ordered his troops to pursue

The Impact of Market Orientation on Business Performance
A working title for the research:
Investigating the relationship between Market Orientation and Business Performance of SMEs in
Pakistan .
Definition of the research:
Market orientation a term used by marketers as indicator of the degree to which firm implements its
marketing concept (Komppula and Reijonen, 2010). A market oriented firm has a greater ability in
achieving higher performance compared to non market oriented firm (Agarwal et al., 2003). The
concept of market orientation has received a great deal of consideration since the topic was re
introduced by Kohli and Jaworski (1990) and Narver and Slater (1990). The relationship between
market orientation and firm performance is extensively highlighted and contended that ... Show more

Databases that have publications in the field of market orientation, SMEs, and business performance
have been reviewed such as Emerald Database, JSTOR (Arts and Sciences III), ScienceDirect
Freedom Collection (Elsevier), and Google Scholar. The search keywords and time length were also
determined and applied to the literature survey. The key words for literature search are market
orientation, marketing orientation, customer orientation, SMEs, SMEs in Pakistan, business
performance, measures of market orientation, and measures of business performance. The above
mentioned key words were selected because they mostly represent the main elements of the topic.
Secondly, studying such key words is important to generate a significant review of the literature in the
field of market orientation and its relationship with business performance in the context of SMEs.
The literature on market orientation and its relationship with business performance is immense, but
most of it is written in the context of large organization. The main problem face during search for
literature is the scarcity of materials on market orientation in SMEs. As for the knowledge of
researcher is concern there is not even a single study on market orientation and its relationship with
business performance in SMEs in Pakistan.
Preliminary review and evaluation of the relevant literature:

Burman experimental design: The Plackett Burman experimental design, a fractional factorial design,
was used in this part of work to demonstrate the relative importance of medium components on
pectinase production and growth of strain name. Seven independent variables as shown in (table 11) in
eight combinations were organized according to the Plackett Burman design matrix as in (table 12).
For each variable, a high (+1) and low ( 1) level was tested. All trials were performed in triplicate,

variable upon enzyme activity and protein content was estimated and represented graphically in
(figure 12, 13) respectively Show that the highest pectinase activity was recorded for trial no. 6 while
the lowest activity was recorded for trials No. 7 and 1. The main effect with a positive sign indicates
that the high concentration of this variable is nearly optimum and a negative sign refer to that the low
concentration of this variable is nearly optimum. The data obtained showed a range of positive main
effect values refer to that the presence of high levels of orange peel, Na2HPO4, MgSO4.7H2O and
NaCl in the production medium positively affects pectinase production by strain name. On the other

Sample For Nursing Research Paper
I have always wanted to become a nurse. As a child, I always looked forward to my grandmother
coming home and telling me all the stories from the day. Whether it was a good or a bad outcome, her
stories at the hospital were always an inspiration to me. When I was 8 years old, I traveled to Ecuador
with my grandparents on a public health mission trip. We took food, clothing, toys, medications, and
first aid supplies to distribute to the community in Quito. While there, I realized the distinct hardships
that underserved populations around the globe face. This is where my love for nursing heightened, and
my knowledge of public health emerged.
In addition to my Quito trip, I have traveled to Costa Rica and Nicaragua where I worked with
medical staff to improve the health in various schools and communities. In Costa Rica, we hosted
educational lectures, provided screenings to children, assisted the doctor in the examining room, and
conducted house visits in the mountains of Aguas Claras. In Nicaragua, we performed similar duties,
providing patient care, diagnosis, and medications for 625 patients with the help of a few doctors from
Nicaragua. We also built sanitation stations for two families in the small town of ... Show more

Abstract
The shift towards the use of electronic media in scholarly communication appears to be an inescapable
imperative. However, these shifts are uneven, both with respect to field and with respect to the form of
communication. Different scientific fields have developed and use distinctly different communicative
forums, both in the paper ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We see notable risks in a pure laissez faire let them work it out for themselves approach. Large
amounts of money, resources, and effort are being committed (by government agencies, by academic
departments, by publishers, by professional societies, and by individual researchers) to the
development, maintenance, and promotion of various forms of communications technologies for use
in global science. However, in the absence of a valid theory of how scholarly fields adopt and shape
technology, scientists and policy makers are left only with context free models, and hence resources
may be committed to projects that are not self sustainable, that wither, and that do not effectively
improve the scientific communications system of the field. The consequences may not only be sub
optimal use of financial resources, but also wasted effort on the part of individual researchers, and
even data languishing in marginal, decaying, and dead systems and formats. The purpose of this
JASIS perspectives article is to deepen our understanding of the future of electronic communications
in science. It is difficult to predict the longterm future, as too many contingencies can and will shape
long term outcomes to make meaningful predictions. One may casually predict that that many if not
all research journals will issue electronic editions in the 21st century; however, more complex issues

Despite Selling Hundreds Of Products On Amazon Or Any Other
Despite selling hundreds of products on Amazon or any other e commerce platform, I still have a new
question during every transaction. You can never have it all figured out.
There is endless competition, a variety of customers with high expectations and multiple procedures to
follow. With infinite factors dictating your listing, how do you come up with a unique e commerce
niche, deliver products on time and generate profit? Here are 8 strategies that personally helped me
grow my e commerce business:
1.Identify the need for an e commerce business
There are thousands of customers buying goods on Amazon, regardless of any pushy marketing
techniques. It s only for the reason they have a desire or a need to own products. Your job is to ...

I normally try to find a local supplier as a backup for timely delivery. It s important to have multiple
backup suppliers.
3.Diversifying products
Once you explore different niches and finalize your product line for our e commerce business, make
sure you cover multiple products in that niche. If you already have reliable suppliers and high demand
for a craft product, try to include a variety of products in that category. You can t just rely on one
product if it sells quickly and gives you some profit during your first few transactions.
Buying patterns are random and you never know when the sales may decline. Customer s expectations
and preferences change every day. It s beneficial to diversify not only for the reason that you can t rely
on a single product but also your customers to add additional items for the order. Add on items like
mouse and keyboard may definitely generate some extra revenue with a laptop.
4.Recording Ideas for the e commerce niche
In order to remain on the top you need to know what s going on in the market, what are people
looking for. If you start recording every detail that may hint towards a potential best seller, and
immediately work on researching the right suppliers, there are more chances of discovering a
profitable niche rather than blindly following what s already selling in the market by the top players.

Ecological Systems Theory Paper
The ecological systems theory is a theoretical framework that is significantly used by social workers
in practice with clients because it helps them to understand, assess and intervene in the various
systems levels (Corcoran and Nichols Casebolt, 2004). As a social work student, I have learned that it
is essential to take into account the different ways in which the client interacts with their environment
as well as, anyway their environment influences their ability to grow and change (Hick, 2010).
Historically, the founder of ecological systems theory was Urine Bronfenbrenner, and he believed that
people are influenced and affected by their social environments (Gladstone, 2017). Bronfenbrenner s
work also includes a focus on the child s growth

Management Is The Basic Function Of Management
Q1.
Management is a common and important term involving in all kinds of organizations such as
businesses, political, cultural or social. Management has been described as the process of dealing with
things or people (Oxford Dictionary). There are four basic functions that make up the effective
management process: Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. Catriona Noble, who started
from a 14 year old casual crew member to the first female CEO of One of McDonald s top ten
subsidiaries in the world, applies successfully these functions in operating McDonald s Australia.
Planning is the basic function of management which involves in defining goals, setting up strategy,
and developing plans to best achieve of the goals. Typically, planning also involves flexibility in the
organization and knowledge of the company s recourses. Thus it is important to have planning skills to
establish the right strategic objectives before making tactical decision (Burrows, 2016). Understanding
planning is a key in running business, Catriona Noble has been a crucial driving force in changing
McDonald s menu. She endeavours to find out the different opinion of customers about the food in
order to modify menu items that suit consumer tastes. She also really concerns about criticisms
towards McDonald s fattier items and aims to use a lower fat and healthier way to cook. As a business
leader, she effectively uses planning skills to develop and monitor individual aspects of projects, and

Descriptive Essay On My Dream Car
Whether it s a lifted truck running a hemi or a suped up WRX, your dream car embodies what you
desire, the life you d like to live, and the kind of person you d like to be. Your real car embodies what
you have, the life you live, and the kind of person you are.
The search for your dream car entails spending months combing over different makes and models of
car, seeing which has the most horsepower, the fastest, the best for mudding or the best for racing.
Pondering what it would be like to own such a masterpiece of vehicular perfection.
The time spent imagining what your friends would think if you were to pull up to school in a Rolls
Royce, stepping out like a lavish Bill Gates. The flock of people crowding around the new wheels just
to catch a glimpse.
Instead, people walk briskly past your car to distance themselves from the smell of burning oil and the
squeaking the tranny makes anytime you shift to park.
But back to the dream car, the embodiment of fancy, adorning a leather interior, unnecessary interior
lights, top of the line dash clusters and head unit gadgets.
You look down and see your car is outfitted with an interior resembling a 1640 s tavern. Seats stuffed
with a frightening combination of feathers and hay, interior lights so dim you can t see the pedals in
the dark and worst of all, the dash. The tachometer, idling dangerously close to 3, spikes randomly if
you go over 45. As we move over, we meet the fuel gage, hovering ever so close to the dreaded E.
Does your car know what a full tank of gas is like or only what $5 gets you? But hey, I m sure that s
enough to get to school, right? Next we find the temperature gage, where even in park the daring
arrow continues to inch it s way closer and closer to H. Then we glance over to the ominous but
impending doom of the dash lights. You know what light that is, but if you don t look maybe it will go
away. A strange box with the word CHECK inside. It could be anything from a faulty light, to a blown
head gasket, but that s not important cause you re not fixing it regardless.
Last but not least, we reach the coup de gras of your dash, the odometer. Dust covers the numbers,
protecting your eyes from the abomination that is the mileage.

Persuasive Essay On Health Care
America is a great nation, that is full of independent people. This is great, it leads to many good
inventions and progressive ideas. But when it comes to the way healthcare works, America is lacking
compared to the rest of the first world countries. The fully privatized health insurance leaves people of
lower income without the access to the great healthcare we as Americans deserve. So, I think that
America s healthcare system should be rebuilt where everyone can go to the doctors without fear of
the outrageous pricing. America is such a great place, as far as medical advancements. The fact that
this is walled off so heavily to most people because of cost is something that needs to change. The
problem isn t going to be easy to fix. Whatever you want to say about Obama s presidency his plan
with the Affordable Health Care Act was the pioneering steps towards moving our, seemingly ancient,
healthcare system into the future. Even as much as Trump hates to admit it he is in favor of this idea
too. He has stated that he doesn t think anyone should go without getting help when they are sick. The
country needs a base level of insurance. The fact people would rather get drove to the hospital than to
call an ambulance because of costs. This shows we really need to think about reforming the way we
treat our people. The problem isn t just with serious injuries that require immediate medical attention.
People in America treat their bodies like old beater cars and ignore serious

Stereotypes-Personal Narrative
There was an old CRT TV, like the type that had littered the shelves of my brother s pawn shop,
hitched up against the corner of the convenience store I had just walked into. Although the image was
blurry, I recognized immediately what was showing. I placed the hood of my sweatshirt over my head

that the sweatshirt had the words Donovan s Fight Club in big, decorative cursive letters on the back,

The Bonaventure Pine, 1893, Paul Signac
It was 3 o clock on a tuesday. Seeing that it was nearing closing time, all exhibits in the museum were
nearly empty. Room after room of artwork had no one in them, except for the few security guards
scattered here and there. Wanting to see everything, I left behind my family and rushed through the
vast museum. Each section of artworks offered everything from abstract splatters of paint, to ornate
sets of furniture. One piece in particular caught my eye. Captured in a golden frame, the canvas held
thousands of painstakingly placed dots. Pinks, blues, yellows, and greens all together in unity to form
the image of a lopsided tree perched on top of a grassy hill. To the right of the painting a meager note
card held the words, The Bonaventure Pine, 1893, Paul Signac. I could ve stood there for hours

Analysis Of Stolen Childhood
In the book entitled Stolen Childhood, Second Edition: Slave Youth in Nineteenth Century America,
the thesis of which the author speaks is clearly stated in the concluding sentence of the fourth
paragraph of the introduction which says that slaves were made to work like adults even though some
were still young. They also had to face all the same conditions as adults. Far from being childlike
throughout their lives, slaves were forced to confront adult situations of work, terror, injustice, and
arbitrary power at an early age. Slaves almost had no childhood. Slave owners made youngsters start
working at 4 5 years of age. Also, in the book it mentions that the children played games (whites and
blacks played together) in which the black children were made to feel like they were lesser than the
white children. This made them feel injustice. Furthermore, children witnessed the cruel and hostile
beatings which their parents received from their owners, leaving marks and scars all over their bodies.
This made fear and terror become a frequent concern in their everyday lives. Once reaching the
middle of the book, the author had made her thesis convincing by showing situations in which young
slaves faced injustice, fear, and difficult situations of work in their everyday lives. Many of her
arguments made her thesis stronger and stronger which made it persuading. But more specifically, the
reasons why it was convincing is because one of her points states that when children were

The songs from the movie tie all the scenes together, and help explain the feelings of the characters.
When Kayley sings, On my Father s Wings , it shows the love she has for her father, and how she
wants to make him proud. Further into the movie we hear a song from Garrett. The song he sings, I
Stand Alone , emphasizes how he can take care of himself, and that he doesn t need anybody else.
Devon, and Cornwall sing the song If I Didn t Have You , which shows that they would rather not be
their own person and not be stuck at the hip all the time. This song also adds to the comic of the
movie, it shows the humor of the two of them. Overall the music in this movie helps explain the
characters in the film, and makes it very entertaining to watch. Even though Quest for Camelot is not
seen as the greatest movie of all time, I think that it is an enjoyable movie. The catchy soundtrack,
developing characters, and the life lessons that are taught all support the reason to think of this movie
as one to watch. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants a bit of a laugh, and just be

Death Penalty In America s Use Of Punishment
The death penalty is the lawful execution of a person for a crime. The first death penalty law goes
back to the eighteenth century and has been used in many cultures. It was also used in Greece as the
punishment for all crimes, Rome also adopted the death penalty. The methods of execution in these
times were crucifixion, drowning, impalement, and even burning alive. In Britain, hanging was the
most prominent method of execution. Over 200 different crimes were punishable by death. However,
in the eighteenth century 100 of the crimes were eliminated from the death penalty. Britain was the
primary influence on America s use of the death penalty. The death penalty has been used in America
for several different crimes, such as murder and treason. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They reference a part of the Bible where God did not respond to murder with death, and in fact took
action to prevent his death: When Cain killed Abel, God did not end Cain s life. Instead, he sent Cain
into exile, not only sparing his life, but protecting it by putting a mark on Cain, lest anyone should kill
him on sight. (Gn 4:15). This raises a valid point to whether or not God supports the death penalty.
They also reference Pope John Paul II s call for the repeal of the death penalty: The new
evangelization calls for followers of Christ who are unconditionally pro life: who will proclaim,
celebrate and serve the Gospel of life in every situation. A sign of hope is the increasing recognition
that the dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done
great evil. . . . I renew the appeal I made . . . for a consensus to end the death penalty, which is both

Analyzing Laura s Poem
I wrote this sonnet as an assignment for my English class this year. The prompt asked us to write a
sonnet for something or someone we loved and cared for, so I chose my older sister Laura as my love
for her is a complex and evolving matter that I felt needed to be expressed into poetry. The sonnet
describes her as I know her to be: caring, loved, genuine, warm, yet humble as well. It follows the
format of a classic Shakespearean sonnet, with three quatrains and a couplet. The first two quatrains of
my sonnet praise her and introduce my jealousy for her radiance. In the third quatrain, there is a
turning point. I begin by developing the idea of my jealousy, but then I have a change of heart. The
couplet concludes the sonnet, describing my changed perspective.
The first two quatrains express my love for my sister, as well as the jealousy I have housed for her
since childhood. The first quatrain explains how ever since I was young, I have always known that she
is truly and freely loving and supportive of everyone around her. At times in my childhood, I believed
that I lacked all of these traits and saw myself as her negative counterpart. In the next quatrain, I point
out that though she has always had a strong group of friends and people devoted to her, ... Show more

Being loving and warm is not something to be jealous of but something to strive for. It was useless to
mimic her activities and her hobbies if I continued to hold resentment for her, as I know that she
would never do the same for me. Her love is not exclusive and spreads to everyone around her,
including myself. Because of this, I changed my metaphor from earlier, now comparing Laura to the
sun and myself to ice, her warmth melting away my coldness. Just by being around her, I can be
happier and kinder. Truly kind and genuine people spread their kindness and do not need to replicate

As this phase is an iterative phase, it allows users to provide feedback on the design and modify any

What A Stereotypical Dance World !
What a Stereotypical Dance World! There are many different worlds on this planet we live on called
Earth. Everyone alive lives in some kind of little world of their own. There is the celebrity world, the
Disney World, Wally world , lots of different sports worlds, scholastic worlds, and so many others.
There is a particular world that some live in, and that is the World of Dance. When you are a part of
that world, you literally live and breathe it. Every aspect of the dance culture is wrapped up in that
world. To those looking in from the outside it is beautiful, filled with lights, lovely costumes,
mesmerizing music, and graceful movements.
Perhaps the very first image the general public would see in their mind s eye, upon hearing the word
dancer , is that of a darling little five year old girl in a pretty pink tutu and delicate ballet slippers
stepping into her local dance studio for the first time. Take someone a little deeper into that thought,
and they might see an overly thin, pale sixteen year old young woman, with collarbones and ribs
showing working herself almost to death to earn a minor part in a dance chorus. Suggest that someone
describe a dancer in the height of their career, and you might hear of a Prima Ballerina with the
Moscow Ballet. Ask someone to visualize a dancer in later years, and they might picture an older
woman with a greying bun atop her head, leading a class or perhaps helping younger dancer perfect a
performance, who is likely ailing

Argumentative Essay On Marijuana Legalization
Marijuana Legalization
35 million Americans use marijuana on a monthly basis, while at least 78 million Americans use at
some point, according to a survey by Yahoo News/Marist College (Kate); however, marijuana is an
illegal drug in most of The United States. Marijuana has been outlawed, and the potential benefits of
legalization outweigh the detriments of criminalization. Marijuana can be decriminalized by affecting
the general consensus of the public through social media and removing cannabis from Schedule I of
the Controlled Substances Act.
There are many benefits of decriminalizing marijuana, from the ability to tax to the overall fixing of a
historical problem; however, there is much more the illegality of marijuana imposes. The idea of
marijuana being legalized resulting in increased drug usage rates is a fallacy. Marijuana legalization
will not necessarily skyrocket the rate of which Americans use marijuana: the observed usage rate in
America is 11%, while Norway, a country where the drug is legalized, has an observed rate of 7% (
Marijuana Legalization Leads to a Reduction in Crime ). This information is pertinent because it
nullifies the notion of increased drug use in America as a consequence of legalization; the common
user of marijuana will continue usage independent of the legality. Marijuana criminalization aids in
linking illegal activities to drugs, raising the participation in the illegal activities. Violence,
prostitution, and gambling are associated with

Playboy Of The Western World Analysis
There was significant development of Ireland as an independent country in the first few decades of the
twentieth century. Through the examination of Synge s Playboy of the Western World, Shaw s O
flaherty, V.C., and Yeats Easter 1916 and Sixteen Dead Men readers are able to better understand the
violence that allowed for that development to be possible within Ireland at the time. Playboy of the
Western World, published in 1907, is a playwright in which John Millington Synge attempts to define
relevant political violence by highlighting the power of English s rule on the Irish natives. The
protagonist, Christy Mahon, is a murderer of his own father who is driven to tell his story due to the
attention that he is receiving. In almost all cases you would perceive the attention that he is receiving
as negative; however, in this case Christy uses his power of persuasion and desperation of his
audience to be enlightened by his story. Christy begins by labeling his father as a, dirty man, God
forgive him, and he getting old and crusty, the way I couldn t put up with him at all. (75) Christy
begins to talk down t his father almost as if he was a useless authoritative figure much like the role of
the British on Ireland s soil. As his audience listens to his story it becomes more and more embellished
and almost as if the killing was a necessary duty. Act II begins with Christy admiring himself in the

Sales Process Improvement Pl A Key Part Of The Sales
Sales Process Improvement Plan
A key part of the sales process is understanding sales across our region in a way that we can drive
marketing, sales associate performance and overall regional performance. Our current sales tracking
approach is sporadic in nature and left up to each individual sales associate, which makes trending and
decision making across the region difficult. Implementing a standardized sales tracking process across
our sales force will allow us to better understand our wins, our losses, lessons learned from both, and
the performance of individual sales associates and our collective sales team. Selecting a process as

(1997). We have seen excellent financial results as we have penetrated markets, grown, and had the
luxury of economy of scale in our production which has been manageable from a change perspective.
Coming from a start up, though, our sales process is anecdotal in nature and each sales associate is
allowed to cover a district within the region using their own approaches. This has led to sporadic
tracking of client contacts, client sales, reasons for wins or losses from major distribution proposals,
increases/decreases with individual clients, and overall client satisfaction. This lack of a solid database
of sales information leads to an inability to identify trends, difficulty in understanding true sales
associate performance, and makes management decision making around existing and new products
difficult. I recommend that we implement a systematic sales tracking process across all of our sales
associates that allows for better understanding of our performance, allows for trending of that
performance, and allows for future decisions to be made based upon a stronger base of information.
Necessary Change in Sales Tracking
A standardized process for tracking product sales integrated with a software product designed for
tracking sales will enable our sales associates to focus their efforts more effectively. Side benefits of
such a process will include better understanding of marketing effectiveness, trending of performance
by management of individual products

How Does Napoleon Use Power In Animal Farm
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world (Mandela). Napoleon
realizes this truth and takes full advantage of it early on in the story. In George Orwell s allegorical
novel Animal Farm, Napoleon seizes control of the now independent farm. He allows the pigs to be
educated and excludes the others. However, he personally educates some puppies, foreseeing them as
a powerful weapon to gain full authority over the animals and to reduce distrust that could lead to
revolt. As he continues to rule, he acquires more power and he uses it to violate and change laws so
that they best benefit him and his reign. Napoleon s main focus in ruling Animal Farm is to lead the
animals away from Animalism, and the animals lack ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Fortunately for him, he already wields the power of education, enabling him to rise almost effortlessly
to power; With their superior knowledge it was natural that they should assume leadership (pg. 21).
This is a subtle infraction of the principles clearly stated in the commandments of Animalism.
Equality is supposed to apply to everyone and every situation, but the animals are accustomed to
having a leader, therefore, it is second nature for them to rely on a person higher than them. Sadly for
the majority of the naïve animals, the pigs ascend to power simply because the weapon of education is
pointing at them and they are found weaponless and unable to defend themselves. Animalism is turned
into an oligarchy, rule by the elite, in this case the pigs are the elite because they are more educated
than the animals. Napoleon not only wants power over the lowly farm animals, but he seeks absolute
control over the entire farm, including the remaining pigs. To do this, he again takes advantage of the
power that lies in education; He said that the education of the young was more important than
anything that could be done for those who were already grown up (pg. 26). To be a leader, it is vital

Logo Movie Analysis
Logan: A Stand Out Superhero Movie
In the past few years, the superhero genre has risen into the movie industry. This year alone, six
superhero movies were released. The superhero genre is popular among young adults. While big
studios like Marvel and DC are competing for audiences, many overlook Fox studio, which has been
making critically acclaimed superhero movies like the X Men way before the surge of the genre. The
competition between studios create an oversaturation making it hard for films like Logan to stand, but
it does this and more. Logan not only transcends the superhero genre but also turns the superhero
format on its head. Logan incorporates elements found in the drama, road trip, and western genre and
emphasizes emotion over action. Set in a post apocalyptic future, Logon tells the story of a broken
down Wolverine in his older years, taking care of Charles. Despite his reluctance to engage in any
more conflicts, he is forced to escort Laura, a young girl, to safety. Although Logan may be criticized
for its one dimensional villains and overdone story, director James Mangold, successfully crafted an
excellent film that separates itself from the genre through realistic characters and a simplistic plot.
Most of the time, Logan centralizes on its main characters, so it is understandable that other characters
are not as fleshed out. The villains came off as uninteresting and forgettable. Boyd Holbrook played
Donald Pierce, a generic villain with no reason why he is

Toni Morrison is one of the most talented and successful African American authors of our time.
Famous for works such as The Bluest Eye, Sula, and Beloved, Morrison has cultivated large audiences
of all ethnicities and social classes with her creative style of writing. It is not Morrison s talent of
creating new stories that attracts her fans. In contrast, it is her talent of revising and modernizing

He experiences the pain felt in Black communities after 14 year old Emmett Till, from Chicago,
Illinois, was murdered in Mississippi for whistling at a white woman and many other violent cases
after, including the bombing of a Black church in Alabama that killed four young girls. Toni Morrison
is an author that is interested in showing the world the constant struggle of African American men and
women. Like Milkman, Morrison was born in 1931 during the height of racism in the United States.
She has lived through the same events as Milkman and has experienced the pain and turmoil forced
upon African Americans. Like Milkman, Morrison was also unaware of the racial tension in the
country until she was a teenager. She graduated from high school with honors and attended Howard
University as an English major. This explains Morrison s interest in the theme of Flight in her works.
She has been determined to be successful since she was a child, despite the racism and poverty she
had experienced. Morrison is a strong, independent, successful, and talented woman. She focuses on
the theme of feminism in her works to show both men and women of all races and ethnicities that
women can be just as powerful as men. She has integrated pieces of her life into the novel, almost
creating a mini biography. Constant themes occurring in Toni Morrison s Song Of Solomon are
Marxism, Feminism, and flight. Marxism is a major theme in Toni Morrison s Song Of Solomon.

Essay On The Sectional Crisis
The Road to Secession How did the sectional crisis begin? What one event triggered this crisis? While
these are question commonly answered, it is up to interpretation of the conflicts between the North
and South in order to decide which events caused the secession. There is not simply one event or
conflict which resulted in the secession of the deep southern sates beginning in 1860 (Brands 2015,
333). As of February 1, 1860 seven southern states had seceded from the union due to the friction
between Northern and Southerners. While some may argue that the sectional crisis is a result of the

One key difference between the North and South was the North s abundance of cheap labor. Between
1845 and 1855 around 3 million people immigrated to the US (304). This new influx of people
brought large quantities of low waged factory, mine and construction workers to the Northern states
just in time to aid in the industrial revolution. Contrary to the North, southern states still relied heavily
on slave labor as their economy was dependent on cash crops. Furthermore, slavery was not only an
economic institution but now a way of life for Southerners. Therefore, slavery was more widely
accepted and condoned as it was both a way of life and an economic institution. However, Northerners
did not experience this way of life or rely on slave labor. Due to this, Northerners we more eager to

Sophocles
Sophocles was conceived in Colunus, Greece. He passed on a mid 406 B.C. Sophocles is the child of
Sophilus, an affluent part of a little group. He had a noticeably anxious life. Sophocles experienced
childhood in the town of Colonus, just outside Athens, which was the setting of his disaster Oedipus at

medication, to Athens. He was regarded post mortem as a saint. His father, Sophillus, thought to have
been an affluent aristocrat, sent his child to Athens for an instruction. Sophocles was the second of the
3 greatest Greek writers of tragedy (with Aeschylus and Euripides). He is known best for what he
wrote about Oedipus, the mythological figure who proved central to Freud and the history of
psychoanalysis. He lived through most of the 5th century, experiencing the Age of Pericles and the
Peloponnesian War. He had a first marriage with Nicostrata, by whom he turned into the father of
Iophon. Sometime down the road he had an association with a certain Theoris, a lady of Sicyon. He
additionally had a child called Ariston. Other three children are specified by name, albeit nothing is

To buttress this, Matthew confirmed that the virgin was found to be with a child through the Holy
Spirit (Matt. 1:18). In fact there are several incidences that took place which cannot make the virgin

the relationship with Mary but the Angel spoke to him not to, Herod tried to kill baby Jesus because of
how great He was going to be but he could not, some wise men (shepherds) were told about this child,

Whether it was a good or a bad outcome, her stories at the hospital were always an inspiration to me. When I was 8 years old, I traveled to Ecuador with my grandparents on a public health mission trip. We took food, clothing, toys, medications, and first aid supplies to distribute to the community in Quito. While there, I realized the distinct hardships that underserved populations around the globe face. This is where my love for nursing heightened, and my knowledge of public health emerged. In addition to my Quito trip, I have traveled to Costa Rica and Nicaragua where I worked with medical staff to improve the health in various schools and communities. In Costa Rica, we hosted educational lectures, provided screenings to children, assisted the doctor in the examining room, and conducted house visits in the mountains of Aguas Claras. We see notable risks in a pure laissez faire let them work it out for themselves approach. Large amounts of money, resources, and effort are being committed (by government agencies, by academic departments, by publishers, by professional societies, and by individual researchers) to the development, maintenance, and promotion of various forms of communications technologies for use in global science. However, in the absence of a valid theory of how scholarly fields adopt and shape technology, scientists and policy makers are left only with context free models, and hence resources may be committed to projects that are not self sustainable, that wither, and that do not effectively improve the scientific communications system of the field. The consequences may not only be sub optimal use of financial resources, but also wasted effort on the part of individual researchers, and even data languishing in marginal, decaying, and dead systems and formats. The purpose of this JASIS perspectives article is to deepen our understanding of the future of electronic communications in science. It is difficult to predict the longterm future, as too many contingencies can and will shape long term outcomes to make meaningful predictions. Descriptive Essay On My Dream Car Whether it s a lifted truck running a hemi or a suped up WRX, your dream car embodies what you desire, the life you d like to live, and the kind of person you d like to be. Your real car embodies what you have, the life you live, and the kind of person you are. The search for your dream car entails spending months combing over different makes and models of car, seeing which has the most horsepower, the fastest, the best for mudding or the best for racing. Pondering what it would be like to own such a masterpiece of vehicular perfection. The time spent imagining what your friends would think if you were to pull up to school in a Rolls Royce, stepping out like a lavish Bill Gates. The flock of people crowding around the new wheels just to catch a glimpse. Instead, people walk briskly past your car to distance themselves from the smell of burning oil and the squeaking the tranny makes anytime you shift to park. But back to the dream car, the embodiment of fancy, adorning a leather interior, unnecessary interior lights, top of the line dash clusters and head unit gadgets. You look down and see your car is outfitted with an interior resembling a 1640 s tavern. Seats stuffed with a frightening combination of feathers and hay, interior lights so dim you can t see the pedals in the dark and worst of all, the dash. The tachometer, idling dangerously close to 3, spikes randomly if you go over 45. As we move over, we meet the fuel gage, hovering ever so close to the dreaded E. Next we find the temperature gage, where even in park the daring arrow continues to inch it s way closer and closer to H. Then we glance over to the ominous but impending doom of the dash lights. You know what light that is, but if you don t look maybe it will go away. A strange box with the word CHECK inside. It could be anything from a faulty light, to a blown head gasket, but that s not important cause you re not fixing it regardless. But when it comes to the way healthcare works, America is lacking compared to the rest of the first world countries. The fully privatized health insurance leaves people of lower income without the access to the great healthcare we as Americans deserve. So, I think that America s healthcare system should be rebuilt where everyone can go to the doctors without fear of the outrageous pricing. The country needs a base level of insurance. The fact people would rather get drove to the hospital than to call an ambulance because of costs. • 17. Analysis Of Stolen Childhood In the book entitled Stolen Childhood, Second Edition: Slave Youth in Nineteenth Century America, the thesis of which the author speaks is clearly stated in the concluding sentence of the fourth paragraph of the introduction which says that slaves were made to work like adults even though some were still young. They also had to face all the same conditions as adults. Far from being childlike throughout their lives, slaves were forced to confront adult situations of work, terror, injustice, and arbitrary power at an early age. Slaves almost had no childhood. Slave owners made youngsters start working at 4 5 years of age. Also, in the book it mentions that the children played games (whites and blacks played together) in which the black children were made to feel like they were lesser than the white children. This made them feel injustice. Furthermore, children witnessed the cruel and hostile beatings which their parents received from their owners, leaving marks and scars all over their bodies. This made fear and terror become a frequent concern in their everyday lives. Once reaching the middle of the book, the author had made her thesis convincing by showing situations in which young slaves faced injustice, fear, and difficult situations of work in their everyday lives. Many of her arguments made her thesis stronger and stronger which made it persuading. • 21. Analyzing Laura s Poem I wrote this sonnet as an assignment for my English class this year. The prompt asked us to write a sonnet for something or someone we loved and cared for, so I chose my older sister Laura as my love for her is a complex and evolving matter that I felt needed to be expressed into poetry. The sonnet describes her as I know her to be: caring, loved, genuine, warm, yet humble as well. It follows the format of a classic Shakespearean sonnet, with three quatrains and a couplet. The first two quatrains of my sonnet praise her and introduce my jealousy for her radiance. In the third quatrain, there is a turning point. I begin by developing the idea of my jealousy, but then I have a change of heart. The couplet concludes the sonnet, describing my changed perspective. The first two quatrains express my love for my sister, as well as the jealousy I have housed for her since childhood. The first quatrain explains how ever since I was young, I have always known that she is truly and freely loving and supportive of everyone around her. Marijuana has been outlawed, and the potential benefits of legalization outweigh the detriments of criminalization. Marijuana can be decriminalized by affecting the general consensus of the public through social media and removing cannabis from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. There are many benefits of decriminalizing marijuana, from the ability to tax to the overall fixing of a historical problem; however, there is much more the illegality of marijuana imposes. The idea of marijuana being legalized resulting in increased drug usage rates is a fallacy. Marijuana legalization will not necessarily skyrocket the rate of which Americans use marijuana: the observed usage rate in America is 11%, while Norway, a country where the drug is legalized, has an observed rate of 7% ( Marijuana Legalization Leads to a Reduction in Crime ). This information is pertinent because it nullifies the notion of increased drug use in America as a consequence of legalization; the common user of marijuana will continue usage independent of the legality. Sales Process Improvement Pl A Key Part Of The Sales Sales Process Improvement Plan A key part of the sales process is understanding sales across our region in a way that we can drive marketing, sales associate performance and overall regional performance. Our current sales tracking approach is sporadic in nature and left up to each individual sales associate, which makes trending and decision making across the region difficult. Implementing a standardized sales tracking process across our sales force will allow us to better understand our wins, our losses, lessons learned from both, and the performance of individual sales associates and our collective sales team. Selecting a process as well as the specific software from within our sales team can be one major mechanism for us to jump ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (1997). We have seen excellent financial results as we have penetrated markets, grown, and had the luxury of economy of scale in our production which has been manageable from a change perspective. Coming from a start up, though, our sales process is anecdotal in nature and each sales associate is allowed to cover a district within the region using their own approaches. This has led to sporadic tracking of client contacts, client sales, reasons for wins or losses from major distribution proposals, increases/decreases with individual clients, and overall client satisfaction. This lack of a solid database of sales information leads to an inability to identify trends, difficulty in understanding true sales associate performance, and makes management decision making around existing and new products difficult. I recommend that we implement a systematic sales tracking process across all of our sales associates that allows for better understanding of our performance, allows for trending of that performance, and allows for future decisions to be made based upon a stronger base of information. Necessary Change in Sales Tracking A standardized process for tracking product sales integrated with a software product designed for tracking sales will enable our sales associates to focus their efforts more effectively. Side benefits of such a process will include better understanding of marketing effectiveness, trending of performance by management of individual products ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 30. How Does Napoleon Use Power In Animal Farm Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world (Mandela). Napoleon realizes this truth and takes full advantage of it early on in the story. In George Orwell s allegorical novel Animal Farm, Napoleon seizes control of the now independent farm. He allows the pigs to be educated and excludes the others. However, he personally educates some puppies, foreseeing them as a powerful weapon to gain full authority over the animals and to reduce distrust that could lead to revolt. As he continues to rule, he acquires more power and he uses it to violate and change laws so that they best benefit him and his reign. Napoleon s main focus in ruling Animal Farm is to lead the animals away from Animalism, and the animals lack ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Fortunately for him, he already wields the power of education, enabling him to rise almost effortlessly to power; With their superior knowledge it was natural that they should assume leadership (pg. 21). This is a subtle infraction of the principles clearly stated in the commandments of Animalism. Equality is supposed to apply to everyone and every situation, but the animals are accustomed to having a leader, therefore, it is second nature for them to rely on a person higher than them. Sadly for the majority of the naïve animals, the pigs ascend to power simply because the weapon of education is pointing at them and they are found weaponless and unable to defend themselves. Animalism is turned into an oligarchy, rule by the elite, in this case the pigs are the elite because they are more educated than the animals. Napoleon not only wants power over the lowly farm animals, but he seeks absolute control over the entire farm, including the remaining pigs. To do this, he again takes advantage of the power that lies in education; He said that the education of the young was more important than anything that could be done for those who were already grown up (pg. 26). To be a leader, it is vital for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Logo Movie Analysis Logan: A Stand Out Superhero Movie In the past few years, the superhero genre has risen into the movie industry. This year alone, six superhero movies were released. The superhero genre is popular among young adults. While big studios like Marvel and DC are competing for audiences, many overlook Fox studio, which has been making critically acclaimed superhero movies like the X Men way before the surge of the genre. The competition between studios create an oversaturation making it hard for films like Logan to stand, but it does this and more. Logan not only transcends the superhero genre but also turns the superhero format on its head. Logan incorporates elements found in the drama, road trip, and western genre and emphasizes emotion over action. Set in a post apocalyptic future, Logon tells the story of a broken down Wolverine in his older years, taking care of Charles. Despite his reluctance to engage in any more conflicts, he is forced to escort Laura, a young girl, to safety. Although Logan may be criticized for its one dimensional villains and overdone story, director James Mangold, successfully crafted an excellent film that separates itself from the genre through realistic characters and a simplistic plot. Most of the time, Logan centralizes on its main characters, so it is understandable that other characters are not as fleshed out. The villains came off as uninteresting and forgettable. While these are question commonly answered, it is up to interpretation of the conflicts between the North and South in order to decide which events caused the secession. There is not simply one event or conflict which resulted in the secession of the deep southern sates beginning in 1860 (Brands 2015, 333). As of February 1, 1860 seven southern states had seceded from the union due to the friction between Northern and Southerners. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One key difference between the North and South was the North s abundance of cheap labor. Between 1845 and 1855 around 3 million people immigrated to the US (304). This new influx of people brought large quantities of low waged factory, mine and construction workers to the Northern states just in time to aid in the industrial revolution. Contrary to the North, southern states still relied heavily on slave labor as their economy was dependent on cash crops. Furthermore, slavery was not only an economic institution but now a way of life for Southerners. Therefore, slavery was more widely accepted and condoned as it was both a way of life and an economic institution. However, Northerners did not experience this way of life or rely on slave labor. Due to this, Northerners we more eager to expel slavery. Northerners discontentment with slavery created negative responses to the Compromise of 1850 as opposed to the Southerners.
