finished the book; but then your teacher has some news about the book. News that would alter the

Two scholarly articles compared the different effects maternal behavior can have on mother rats
later on in their lifetime. A maternal behavior can be defined as an act of love and caring toward
one s young (2012). Memory, and the rats ability to learn a response were tested through two
different experiments. Learning was tested by a classical conditioningapproach. Classical condition
was first discovered by Ivan Pavlov. The overall concept of classical conditioning is when a
response is elicited by a stimulus (Huitt Hummel, 1997). On the other hand, both articles studied
rats with varying degrees of maternal experience. Comparatively, rats estrogen cycles were tested
in both articles. Overall, there are five stages: proestrus, estrus, metestrus, diestrus, and anestrus. In
rats, each cycle lasts about four to five days in length. Unlike humans, rats reach puberty at only
six to eight weeks old (Hill, 2016). Twain articles were compared through a comparative analysis.
In the article Once a Mother Always a Mother: Maternal Experience Protects Females from the
Negative Effects of Stress on Learning, the researchers tested whether maternal rat behavior has a

Bitter Watters was a book over the author s experiences under Stalin s Soviet Union. Andreev
Khomiakov (the author) talks about his everyday life during the years of 1935 to 1941. From
the point of being imprisoned in a labor camp in till he has to leave Moscow because of World
War II. In the book Andreev Khomiakov talks about how the Stalin system works daily, and
expresses his own opinions about it. He explains how controlled he and his coworkers are by the

Through the beginning to the middle of November, I read the book Reality Boy by A.S. King.
Reality Boy is about Gerald Faust, a kid in highschool who had his whole childhood screwed up
because he was on reality TV. His mom thought he was retarded, his sister constantly beats him
up, and the whole world laughed in amusement as they watched him take craps everywhere. The
book was interesting because he started out as a kid known as The Crapper and he was able to

There is a lot of adult themed topics throughout the book like sex, cursing, and many others. A
young reader, for example, my sister who is eight years old, shouldn t be reading this because
nobody wants an eight year old kid going around and yelling F*K THIS S**T! (King 104). I am
pretty sure you get the picture with the other topics. I recommend that librarians should put a
warning label or a parental advisory sign on it or something because this book should not be in
our library and especially an elementary s library. Speaking of this book, I give it an 8 out of
10. It is interesting and funny at some points, but I just didn t like how his entire childhood was
ruined because of his family. I really wish that there were less cursing in it because most of it is
unnecessary. But, if this book was in a series, I would definitely read it. In conclusion, Reality
Boy by A.S. King is an interesting but inappropriate boo, but for me it was a pleasure to read it. I

Warehouse 13 Book Report
During this summer, my friends recommended that I watch a season of Warehouse 13 since I m
fond of science fiction movies, television shows, and books. I thought it was well made therefore
I watched all of the episodes and I love most of the seasons. The fifth season seemed rushed and
was only six episodes. Other shows I enjoy watching are Doctor Who, Supernatural, and The X
Files but there s an overabundance of episodes. Warehouse 13 is distinctive by seeing that it won
t take up much time. This show has five seasons and around sixty episodes. They last around forty
minutes each so I finished the series in two weeks. I normally don t binge watch; however, after
seeing the Indiana Jones based episodeI finished fairly quickly.
