Note who has listed all 7 steps for their team
Carole: Describe the team culture in my clubs: eg Firebirds – multicultural, multinational - Albury Wodonga – multicultural and local. Kirsty: Describe team culture in teams in your area.

Carole: Story of new prospective online clubs: eg Toastmasters Without Borders – main tools used Facebook & easy-speak
Kirsty: Story of how you connect with clubs in your Area.
Focus on the need for a strong relationship building process at beginning of a new team – call together frequently; ensure that there is a sharing of information culture with online conversations; where required ask for smaller teams to meetup eg President and VPE; VPM and Treasurer; Secretary and SAA; VPPR and Webmaster.
Describe how and when to use text messaging between team members? Eg reminders of actions from a committee meeting
Have you considered using a voice call to one member and placing on speaker? Eg when one officer cannot travelHave you ever used FreeConferenceCall? eg a group voice call between team members for urgent decision making.
Have you considered using Skype for group meetings with both video and audio? Eg when officers cannot travel
Does your club have extra events in the year at which you could include an executive team meeting? Eg Dinner meeting
How do you overcome some of these obstacles when communicating outside of meetings?
Eg Time management built in to executive team protocols – meetups once a month – send a report if you cannot be there
Describe the problem I have with one team who use a Facebook Leadership Group – eg Firebirds Leadership – distractions, misleading language and lack of direction when the forum is not moderated..
Consider use of anytime discussions that enable a focus on issues – without the distractions eg a private group online with moderator
Let’s drill down to see what happens in your Facebook Group:
Multiple Channels – all members can post, reply and share – what are the problems with that?
Amount of White Noise – lots of distractions in Facebook – not the best tool for conversations
Not all members use Facebook – eg may be restricted where they are – is there a better tool?
Describe my best practice in using Messenger.
1. When the emails become too frequent 2. When both are Facebook users and connected 3. When conversation is best between two people.2. Can create a small Messenger Group if required eg meeting with people in different time zones - anytime3. Can use voice for real time conversation
Club Mass Email option in easy-Speak.
